XTreme Wolverine Season 1 Episode 11: ”Shattered Dreams part II” (Season Finale)

A voice cries out saying: Previously on XTremeWolverine, the following clips are shown:

1- From ORIGIN, Logan meets Professor Page in his holographic form.

2- From Rampage, Professor Page tells Logan: "If you help me kill all these demonic souls that are killing these innocent people, I can help you find your dead wife Yuriko and restore your soul back to life.”

3- From Static Shock, Magneto says to Logan: "Now the time has arrived. Finally I will have your power and I will become immortal and you will become my slave forever!"

4- From Mortal Sins, Logan and the evil bartender slug it out. Logan sends the evil bartender to hell.

5- From Shattered Dreams I, Nightcrawler has a dream where he sees his mother, who turns out to be Edea.

Scene 1: Logan is down on the ground clutching his ribcage and breathing heavily. "Ha ha haa... You pitiful mutant," screams Edea. "How can you be so stupid? I led you and your brother directly into my trap. Now I will have my son kill you and then we will strip you of your precious powers." She laughs some more and Nightcrawler grins. "Well, since you couldn't do it before, you WON'T be able to do it again!" screams Logan. He lunges towards Edea with his claws extended. But Nightcrawler steps in front of his mother and takes some adamantium to the gut. Nightcrawler falls down. Logan is in shock. "James, you ok?" he asks as he looks over him. Nightcrawler looks up. "Yes I'm fine. But you're not!" he says as he blasts Logan into the wall with his tail. Logan is unconscious. "Well done my son," says Edea as she touches her sons stomache and heals the wound. "Take him to the dungeon room." Nightcrawler obeys and picks up Logan's limp but barely alive body and heads to the dungeon room.

Opening Credits

Scene 2: Back at the mansion, Professor Page is in his office doing some paperwork. He finishes up when a knock is heard on his door. (which is open) "Ahh, Scott, Valerie you're here. Please sit down." "Hi Professor. We heard Nightcrawler screaming and we came to see whats wrong" says Cyclops. "He's been captured and put under a spell by Edea." Both look in shock. "Where's Logan?" asks Valerie Grey. The professor turns around. "He went to save him, but I fear he is in grave danger." He touches his forehead and uses his mental powers. He sees Logan in the dungeon room unconscious. He then sees Nightcrawler and Edea laughing over Logan's dead body (which has been stripped of his powers). He flashes back to reality and falls down. "Professor!" scream Cyclops and Valerie in unison. "Ungh. I'm ok. Edea is trying to extract Logan's powers. This time with Nightcrawler's help." "Why Nightcrawler?" asks Valerie. Page looks down and then up. "Because Edea is his mother." Both look like they've seen a ghost. (or are really dumb). "I'll explain later. Scott, get Hank, Remy and Mystique and bring them here at once." "Yes sir," says Cyclops as he leaves the room. Valerie looks concerned. Scene fades out.

Scene 3: Cyclops enters the hospital where Beast is. "Hank, grab Remy and Mystique and head to the Professor's office now." Beast looks bewildered. "What's the problem?" he asks. "It's Logan. Edea has put Nightcrawler under a spell and is using him to extract Logan's powers." Beast is shocked. Scott leaves the room. Beast leaves the hospital, goes to Gambit and Mystique's rooms and informs them of the situation. They then head to Professor Page's office.

Scene 4: The X-Men enter the office. "Ahh, good, you're all here. "So what's this all about?" asks Gambit. Page looks down shaking his head. "You're ok Professor?" asks Beast. Page looks up at his students. "It's Logan. Edea has captured him and is using Nightcrawler to extract his powers." "AGAIN?!" screams Mystique. "Didn't she forget what happened last time?" "Yes, but I fear they are going to keep trying. Edea is Nightcrawler's birth-mother.” Gambit and Beast are shocked. "It's true. She is his mother. I adopted him when Edea divorced her husband. I just don’t understand why my son would return to her." She starts to cry. "Maybe to get some answers," says Beast. Mystique looks up. "NO! I think he went there to get revenge on her for imprisoning me. We need to help him and Logan." "Yes, let's go to the Blackbird," says Page. The heroes leave, put on their uniforms and head to the Blackbird. The plane then takes off as scene fades.

Scene 5: In the dungeon room, Logan is asleep. He is starting to come around. "Get up brother," says Nightcrawler as he throws some water on him. Logan gets up in a flash and lunges towards Nightcrawler. But he is electricuted by the cell. Nightcrawler begins to laugh. "Ha ha. You fool! Even you should know that there is no way out of that cell." "That don’t mean jack to me bub," says Logan as he extends his claws and somehow breaks the forcefield. Nightcrawler is stunned, but yet not amused. "Hmph. I could've done that," he says as he shrugs his shoulders. "Too bad you didn't. Come on James. Fight it. I know you can do it." He approaches his brother. "Please James. I don't want to do anything that we’ll regret later." Logan looks him in the eyes. Nightcrawler begins to laugh wickedly. Logan is perplexed. "What's so funny bub?" he asks. "Nothing. It's just to bad you won't be around to see it" says Nightcrawler as he hits a button on the wall and a giant cage surrounds Logan. Logan screams at the top of his lungs. He tries to escape but is electricuted by the barbed wire. He falls to the ground barely breathing. Nightcrawler laughs even more. Scene fades out as Logan's shirt is shown ripped apart and smoke is coming from his body.

Scene 6: Edea and Nightcrawler are in the lab preparing to load Logan into the tank. They place the mask around his face and load him into the water. "Go slow my son. We don't need to rush this," says Edea. "Sorry mother," says Nightcrawler. Logan is then lowered into the tank. Edea begins to laugh. "Begin the extraction sequence!" she screams. Nightcrawler is behind the controls, and hits the switch to begin the extraction process. “Why do we need his powers anyway?” asks Night crawler. Edea looks at her watch. “I suppose we have time before he is drained. I am taking his energy to raise my master, the almighty one, who will bring peace to the world.” “So what’s so special about this one mutant?” James asks, pointing to Logan. “Not just him, but he is one example of the energy required. 9 souls have been fed to the machine, all sorts of mutants, their various powers will revive our lord, and bring about a new era of peace.” They then share a laugh.

Scene 7: The Blackbird lands at the lair. Professor Page and the X-Men all exit the plane. "Be on your guard eveyone," says Cyclops. They then enter the lair and go up to the dungeon room. But noone is there. Gambit looks around and spots Logan's shirt on the ground. "Professor!" he yells. Page then goes over to see what's wrong. He looks at Logan's shirt. "Oh no. This is really bad. We need to get to the lab at once," he screams. The heroes then head out and go to the lab. (scene fades)

Scene 8: Back in the lab, the extraction process is still going on. "45% complete mother," says Nightcrawler. "Excellent. Continiue my son," says Edea in a mean voice. The procedure continues. Suddenly, the machine begins to flicker. "What the?!" screams Nightcrawler. "What's wrong my son?" asks Edea. "I-I don't know. The power shut off. The levels have went down." "Not again!!" screams an angry Edea. The lab doors then burst open. (with help from Cyclops' optic laser goggles) Professor Page and the X-Men enter the lab. "YOU! I should've known" screams Edea. "Curse you and your pathetic group of mutants! Get them my son!" Nightcrawler springs into action. He knocks down Gambit, Beast and Cyclops. He then looks at his mother. Mystique can see that his eyes are red. He lunges towards her but Cyclops shoots a laser beam at him, which he dodges. At the same time, Valerie Grey uses her mind to float an unseen needle behind him, and inject his arm with an anditdote. The antidote seems to work as Nightcrawler's eyes change from red to blue. "W-What happened?" he asks. "You were under a spell James. But we're glad you're ok" says Professor Page. Mystique goes over to him. "My son are you ok?" "Yes mother I’m fine. Where's Logan?" he asks. Page points to the tank. "Oh no. What have I done?" he shrieks. "It's ok James we'll get him out. Nightcrawler then leaps up and heads toward the tank. But Edea sees him and hits him with a thunderbolt attack. Nightcrawler falls down. The other X-Men go to help, but are also hit by the blast. Edea's eyes become red and she begins to float in the air. "Puny humans! You will all die by my hand," she says in a demonic voice. She raises her hands and charges up for a lethal thunderbolt attack. But out of nowhere, Logan wakes up and breaks the tank open and releases himself. Water is flowing everywhere. "Pesky mutant! I will kill you all," says a determined Edea. She then chants her spell. "ESU FERMO ROSU AMRMSOTU!" She unleashes the spell but all of the heroes move away just in time. The blast leaves a gigantic hole in the floor. Air is blowing in violently. "Nice trick bub. Too bad you missed," says Logan as he extracts his claws. Edea tries again and misses Logan by an inch. Logan then leaps into the air and slashes Edea down to the floor. He then pins her to the ground and raises his right hand above her eyes. Nightcrawler looks up and screams. "NOOOOO!" But Logan can't hear him as he plunges his claws into Edea's eyes. Edea is screaming and is shown melting. Edea is sucked away, to hell. Nightcrawler drops to the floor hysterically crying. Magneto comes in out of nowhere and everyone goes into a fighting pose. "Stand down mutants. I come in peace. I saw what happened and I congratulate you all." All are amazed at what Magneto said. Page wonders. "Eric. You’re, not angry? Why do you say this?" he asks. Magneto smirks. "Well, she became a bit of a problem for me. Her ways were evil, even I know that. I tried to talk her out of this, but she locked me in our room.” “I am sorry, it shouldn’t have been this way,” says the Professor. “Thank you Dallas." He then exits the room but stops to look at Logan. "We'll meet again Logan," he says. "I'll be waiting," says Logan. Magneto then leaves through the giant gap in the floor. (scene fades.)

Scene 9 (Nothing Else Matters by Metallica is playing throughout this scene):
Still at the lair, Nightcrawler is shown by the huge hole in the ground with a bottle of Edea's ashes. He begins to cry as he opens the bottle. "Goodbye mother," he says as he dumps the ashes. Tears roll down his face. Mystique, Professor Page and Logan go to comfort him. "I'm sorry for your loss James, but Logan did what he had to do" says Page. Logan goes over to his brother. "I'm sorry brother. I didn't mean for this to happen. But it's my job to fight evil souls, to vanquish them when need be." Logan places his hand on his shoulder. Nightcrawler shrugs him off and turns around towards Logan. "You didn't have to kill her brother!" he screams. "I could've helped her. But YOU had to take her away from me. For that I can't forgive you. Now I have noone to take care of me. No mother, no father..", he stops as he begins to cry some more. "You have us James," says Page as he extends his hand showing the X-Men. "That's right my son. You also have me. I will always be here for you," says Mystique with a tear in her eye. "You also got me bub," says Logan. "Please accept my apologies." Nightcrawler cries a little more then stops. “All right fine. I forgive you this time my brother. But it still won't bring back my mother," he says. He begins to walk away. The X-Men are right behind him. Logan has his head in his hand. "Man, I need a vacation" he says sighing. Page is amused by his remark and says: "Well, you have been working hard, you can have the next month off." Logan turns to Page and looks shocked. "Really?! I thought you didn't want me to go." Page looks at Logan and smiles. "That's true, but I think you've earned it. Go have fun. See the world," he stops and looks directly in Logan's eyes. "But Logan remember, there is evil all over the world, be careful.” Logan nods in approval. "You got it bub. Would you like to come with me Professor?" Page laughs. "No thanks Logan. I'm needed here. I'm not getting any younger as it is. And with my health the way it is, it could become a problem," he says. "You don't look so old to me bub", says Logan sarcastically. They both laugh and shake hands. They then head to the Blackbird and return to the mansion. (Scene fades out)
