XTreme Wolverine Season 2 Episode 6: ”Strange Visions”

Scene 1 (melodic music is playing throughout this scene): We start off with a wide shot of a tall, slender looking woman dancing in a field. The wind is blowing through her long black hair and birds are heard chirping. She stops dancing and the camera zooms in to show her face. She turns around and smiles and gives us a wink. The woman is... YURIKO, Logan's fiance. Her image then fades away. (music ends)  

Scene 2: At the mansion, Logan is in his room looking out the window. The sunlight begins to hit his face. He is thinking about his long lost love YURIKO.

*White Flash*

Logan and Yuriko are shown in a cabin in Canada kissing. Then, Logan gets on bended knee and asks Yuriko to marry him. She cries and accepts. Logan places the ring on her finger and the begin to kiss passionately. (awww)

*White Flash*

Logan comes back to reality and begins to cry. "Yuriko...," he says crying. He then smashes his hand on the window pane. A knock is heard on the door. "Who is it?!" he screams. "It's me Valerie." "Come in Red." Valerie enters the room. "I'm sorry for yelling at you Red," says Logan. "It's ok Logan," she says with a slight smile. "Listen, this package arrived a little while ago. It's for you." She hands the package over to Logan who has a puzzled look on his face. Logan looks at the package. No return address is shown, only that it is from Japan. Logan rips the package open. Inside, is a casette tape. He takes it out and puts the tape into his radio and pushes play. Silence is heard for a little while. Logan gets angry. "Now why would someone send me a blank tape?" he screams. Valerie seems concerned. Suddenly, a faint voice of a female comes through over the tape. "Logan.. Logan.. Come to me my love. Please avenge my death. Help me my love.." The tape ends. Logan is in utter amazement. (or crapped himself) "Y-Yuriko?!" he says surprisingly. "Who's Yuriko?" asks Valerie. "My fiance," says Logan facing her. "I didn't know you had a girlfriend Logan," says Valerie in a weird way. "Yeah, she was my girlfriend. We got engaged, but I got called to some business in Canada.” Logan has a quick flashback, and we see him in a tank, where his bones are being laced with adamantium. “I loved her so much until that day... never mind that." He begins to cry. "I'm so sorry Logan," says Valerie as she tries to console Logan on the bed. "It's not your fault Red. You weren't a part of it. I need to go to Japan." "Why?" asks Valerie. "To try and get some answers. Don't tell anyone that I left, ok?" he says as he puts on his jacket. Valerie nods her head. Logan walks towards the door. “Stop!” says Valerie stopping him. “Sorry, I gotta` do this.” “Oh, “I understand what you have to do, I would do the same. Just becareful,” “Sorry, no time for caution!” “Please! If Yuriko is dead, then someone else sent this to lure you into a trap.” “Thanks,” says Logan as he heads out. Logan is then shown leaving the mansion as Valerie looks on with concern. (Scene fades out)  

Opening Credits  

Scene 3 (Subtitles are used, as this is spoken in Japanese): In Tokyo Japan, people are doing their everyday things. Cars and buses are whizzing by at a reasonable pace. Businesses are doing well (or so it seems). We switch to a park in a rural suburb of Tokyo where tragedy has struck. A highly respected businessman has been killed. His head has been chopped off and his arms have been dismantled. (Pretty cool eh?) Cops arrive on the scene and begin to investigate. No signs of evidence are shown. The cops finish their investigation and begin to head off. Suddenly, out of nowhere, 5 ninja robots attack the cops and shoot laser beams at them. All of the cops die. (So much for them lol.) A tall man walks in. He is wearing traditional Japanese armor and has a Bushido blade by his side. His name is Yoshihiro Takanawa. He was a former member of the Japanese Elite Army. He is now seeking retribution on the Japanese government for imprisoning him unjustly for killing the President's wife. He looks at all the carnage and begins to laugh wickedly. "Good work my slaves," he says talking to the robots. "Clean this mess up." The robots obey their master’s command and dump all the dead bodies into the river. Yoshihiro begins to laugh even harder.  

Scene 4 ("Mama I'm Coming Home” by Ozzy is playing here): Logan arrives in Tokyo via airplane. He goes into a cemetery far away from the city. He walks calmly looking at the different graves and tombstones. He then walks over to Yuriko's grave. He bends down. The tombstone reads: "Here lies Yuriko, beloved friend. Will be missed forever." Logan puts a hand and the tombstone. He then begins to pray. "My dear Yuriko. I'm sorry that I couldn't save you. But I promise you, I WILL avenge your death and find the bastard who killed you," he says. He then places a red rose on the ground. He turns away, but is greeted by Professor Page in his holographic form. "Logan, wait," he says. Logan turns around. "Professor? How did you know I was here? Did Valerie tell you?" he asks. Page smiles and says, " No she didn't. You forget that I am a telepath." Logan holds his head in his hand. "Damn! I forgot. So what's up?" "Logan, I know all about Yuriko. How she died, who killed her, everything." Logan is in shock but doesnt say much since he knows almost as much as Page does about Yuriko's death. "I like to keep that to myself bub," he says. "I understand Logan. I know how you feel. It was hard for me to hold my feelings in when Moira died. So I know how you must feel." Logan nods his head. "In any event, we have a problem. A former Japanese army member has gone on a killing spree killing innoncent people with help from his 'Ninja Robots'. I need you to investigate," says Page. "Ninja-robots huh? Sounds like fun," says Logan as he extracts his claws. He then leaves the cemetery. "Be careful my friend," says Page concerned for Logan's well being. (Scene and music fade out)  

Scene 5: At the headquarters of the evil Yoshihiro Takanawa, the evil soldier is working on his ninja robots. He carefully fixes any malfunctions that they had. He finishes up his work and walks to his room. On the way there, he is met by his assistant Kenshi. "Sir, we have word of a mutant in the city," he says. "Mutant?!" yells Yoshihiro. "Yes sir. A foreigner, with claws of adamantium. Shall I send out the robots?" "No. We will meet him in the forest, then kill him." Yoshihiro begins to laugh rather wickedly.  

Scene 6: Logan is inside a hotel room watching TV. All the programs are in Japanese. "Wait, what was that last part?” He picks up the remote and fusses. “Damn, they didn’t give me DVR," he says obviously pissed off that nothing is in English. He switches channels and then gets to the news, something he can better understand with his limited knowlege of the language. A news reporter is heard saying (subtitles are used so we can better understand): "Tragedy has struck Tokyo Park today as police and a businesman have been killed by what witnesses say were 'Ninja-Robots.' More news as soon as it becomes available to us." The report ends. Logan turns off the TV and gets up. "Hmm. Seems like I have a good lead, to find this guy now." He puts on his uniform and heads out of the hotel. "Time to destroy him and his ninja-robots."  

Scene 7: Logan heads into Tokyo Park. People are shown walking and playing. Logan starts to smile a bit. Suddenly, he senses something coming from the forest. *Sniff Sniff* "Oil & Metal, alot of it? Seems like I found him," he says. He then walks into the forest. On his way in, he is attacked by the ninja-robots. "What the?!" yells Logan. The robots then begin to shoot laser beams at Logan who manages to elude all of them with ease. He gets angry and extracts his claws. He then begins to rip apart each robot. "Rotten pieces of tin!" he says. Yoshihiro and his assistant Kenshi then enter. Yoshihiro begins to clap his hands. "Well done Logan, well done." Logan is amazed. "How do you know my name bub?" he asks. "Well, I heard a lot about you. My assistant Kenshi saw you in the cemetery looking over your fiance's grave. It's a shame that you soon will have to join her." “You? You sent the tape!?” “Brilliant, detective. And it is time for you to join your beloved in death. Pitty for you.” “You murdering butcher, you killed her. An innocent girl!” “Oh no, her death is your fault!” retorts Yoshihiro. “You drove her to kill herself!” Logan looks angry, almost primal. And Yoshihiro continues his speach, “You are responsible for the death of Yuriko, the woman I loved.” “What?' Yoshihiro removes his mask. “No,” Logan says Logan with a gasp. “So you remember me? The man you stole Yuriko from.” “I did not steal, she made the choice.” “She was mine 1st.” “But you do not own her.” “Enough excuses outsider. Die!” Logan extracts his claws. "BRING IT!!" he screams. Both rush at each other, but Logan moves to avoid Yoshihiro's blade and slices Kenshi in the neck killing him instantly. "So much for your assistant. Now it's your turn to go to hell," says Logan. He rushes at Yoshihiro but Yoshihiro sees the move and side-steps Logan and slices Logan in the chest with his Bushido blade. Logan falls down grabbing his chest as blood begins to flow. Yoshihiro begins to laugh wickedly. "You pathetic mutant! You're no match for the great Yoshihiro Takanawa. Now I will send you to hell." He raises his blade above Logan's eyes, but as if by instict, Logan somehow cuts the blade in half. (WHOA!) Yoshihiro is in shock. "H-How'd you do that? No one can destroy my blade," he says looking at the remains of his blade. Logan begins to laugh. "Well bub, I can withstand and heal from any attack. So bring it on all you want. `Cuz I'll keep coming no matter what you do." Yoshiro gets mad and lunges towards Logan. But Logan knows the move and slices him in the face cutting Yoshihiro wide open. Blood is spilling from Yoshihiro's face. He tries again, but gets some adamantium right in the gut, piercing his metallic armor. He falls down hard. Logan then pounces on top of Yohihiro. "See ya' bub," he says as he drives his claws into the evil warrior's eyes and he falls into a still sleepy death. A strange aura falls over Logan. He then looks at his stomache, which is now being healed and smiles. "Pathetic liar, he mumbles to himself, and heads out of the park. (Scene fades)  

Scene 8: Logan is back in the cemetery looking over Yuriko's grave. He then says a final prayer. "My dear Yuriko. I love you with my whole heart. I promise to vanquish all the demonic souls and revive your soul and you and I will be together once more." He touches the grave and lays another red rose on the ground. He then turns to leave but sees a strange woman in white approaching him. He goes into a defensive pose.  "Stand down my love for it is I, Yuriko," says the mysterious figure. Logan looks like hes seen a ghost. (or peed himself) "Y-Yuriko? Is that really you?" he says with a slight stutter. "Yes my love, it is I. I'm so proud of you for killing that evil madman and sending him to hell. You're almost there my love. My soul will be awakened once more and we will be together again." "Mark my words Yuriko. I WILL avenge your death and find the person who killed you. Then we will be together. I promise you," says Logan in a heroic tone. "But Logan," she begins to say, but he motions her now is not time to speak. He goes over to hug Yuriko, but she dissappears as Logan falls on his face. (OUCH!) "Yuriko," he says looking back at her grave. He begins to cry and looks up to heaven. He then leaves the country via airplane.  

Scene 9: ("Rest in Pieces" by Saliva is playing throughout) Logan arrives back at the mansion. He is greeted by Valerie Grey. "Logan, you're back!" she says hugging him. "Nice to see you too Red. Where's the Professor?" "In his study," says Valerie. "Thanks," Logan says as he kisses Valerie's cheek. Valerie begins to blush. Logan then heads over to Professor Page's study. He heads in (the door is open). "Ahh, Logan, you've returned. How did it go?" he asks. "I killed that madman and sent him to hell," says Logan with a smirk. "Good work Logan. Another demonic soul vanquished. Only a few more left." "Good, 'cuz I want to see Yuriko once more," says Logan. Valerie, Cyclops, and the rest of the X-Men enter. "What you guys doing here?" asks Logan. "We want to know how Yuriko died," says Gambit. Logan looks down. "I, I can't tell you now." He then heads out of the room. The X-Men and Page look on in wonder. "Give him some time my students. He is a private man, but he will tell us all eventually." “Actually,” says Valerie, ”He has opened up a bit faster then we expected.” The rest of the group nods in unison. The scene fades as Logan looks at a picture of him & Yuriko holding hands.
