About Rodney Mullen AKA The Mutt

Rodney Mullen was borned in Gainesville, Florida, but now he lives in one of the beach cities in Los Angeles. He is sponsored by Globe, Matix, Tensor, Enjoi, Darkstar Speed Demons and Black Top Grip Tape. His setup is an Enjoi deck, with Tensor trucks, Darkstar wheels, Speed Demons bearings, Black Top grip tape and Tensor Hardware.  Rodney's favorite terrain is schoolyards with tables, as we see a lot of in his skate videos. He skates for about 2 or 3 hours every day, and likes Frontside Crooked grind variations and thinks that Darkslides are fun. He started skating 1st of January 1977, won his first pro contest (& simultaneously turned pro) 21th August 1980, after 3 and a halv years on his board, that's really good!
