COACHING STAFF AND COACH HISTORY

COACH BOGART - VARISTY COACH (OVERALL RECORD- 56-31)

Coach Bogart enters his fifth season as head coach in the 2004-2005 campaign. He will build on the '03-'04 season which saw the Jaguars go 17-5 overall and 12-1 in league action. The 12-1 record in league was good enough to earn the Jags their first Kaw Valley League Championship! Last year the Jags won their first-round sub-state game against Olathe Northwest and lost a heart-breaker in the sub-state finals versus Blue Valley.

Coach Bogart attended Tonganoxie High School where he played varsity basketball for three years. He then went on to the University of Kansas to earn his bachelors degree in education with a major in English. He has taught English and speech in the De Soto School District for ten years. Coach Bogart recently completed his masters degree in administration at Baker University. Coach Bogart is in his tenth year of coaching high school basketball for De Soto/Mill Valley. He was the freshman coach at De Soto High School for one year. He became the junior varsity coach at De Soto High School in 1996 and held that position until the 2000-2001 school year when he was promoted to head coach of Mill Valley High School.

COACH BOOTHE - JUNIOR VARSITY COACH (OVERALL RECORD - 50-19)

Coach Boothe-Coach Boothe enters his fifth season as the Jaguars' first ever junior varsity coach. Last year Coach Boothe led the Jags to a 15-2 record overall and an undefeated 13-0 record in the Kaw Valley League.

Coach Boothe graduated from Shawnee Mission West High School where he lettered his senior year. He then went on to Pittsburg State University where he earned his bachelors degree in education with a major in mathematics and a minor in computer sciences. He is currently teaching computer/technology courses at Mill Valley. Coach Boothe recently earned his masters degree in administration from the University of Kansas. Coach Boothe begins his eighth year of coaching basketball. He coached one year at Labette Community College, one year at Olathe East High School, and begins his sixth year in the De Soto School District.

COACH FEDDIE - FRESHMAN COACH (OVERALL RECORD - 14-5)



Coach Fedde enters his second season as the Jaguars freshman coach. Last year Coach Fedde led the Jags to a 14-5 record overall and an 11-1 record in the Kaw Valley League.

Mr. Fedde last coached in Albemarle County, Virginia as a three-year assistant junior varsity coach at Albemarle High School. Coach Fedde graduated from Lincoln East High School in Lincoln, NE where he was a two-year letter winner. He then went to the University of Nebraska-Lincoln where he earned his bachelors degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance. Following graduation, Coach Fedde worked in banking software for Information Technology, Inc. in Lincoln. After just over one year with ITI, he had a change of heart and returned to the University of Nebraska to get his teaching certification in Business/Computer Applications. This is Coach Fedde's third year of teaching at Mill Valley High School.

COACHING ALUMNI

COACH WRIGHT - (29-23)



Andy Wright held the freshman coaching position for three seasons, 2000-2001, 2001-2002, and 2002-2003. During his time as coach, he led the Jags to an overall record of 29-23 and a league record of 25-15. Coach Wright is currently teaching and coaching in the Rich Hill school district in Rich Hill, Missouri.
