The AdU-ACES Constitution is the guiding principle behind all the works of the Association. It is mean to guide and direct all the things happening within and without the Association... =)

Preamble 

               We, the Officers and Members of the Adamson University – Association of Civil Engineering Students (SY 2003-2004), proclaiming the aid of Divine Providence, in order to establish a group that will embody our ideals, to maintain the mutual cooperation and unity among us, to work for the cause of the College of Civil  Engineering, to cultivate our potentials to work for the enlistment of common welfare, to share in the activities geared towards the development of the school, and to be faithful to the ideals and policies of this association, do hereby ordain and promulgate this constitution.

  ARTICLE I            GENERAL PROVISIONS

 Section 1.            This association shall officially be known as the Adamson University – Association of Civil Engineering Students, herein after referred to as AdU – ACES.

 Section 2.            The AdU – ACES logo (as of SY 2003-2004), bearing the name of the Association and the name of Adamson University, will serve as authenticity, shall be treated with due respect, and will be part only of every officially recognized organizational documents produced by the Association.

 Section 3.            The Association’s name and logo (as of SY 2003 – 2004) will be rendered permanent and unchangeable unless the organization’s current identity and status will be abolished.

 ARTICLE II            MEMBERSHIP 

Section 1.a.             All students enrolled at Adamson University and taking up Civil Engineering shall be automatically become associate members of the Associations upon payment of the corresponding membership fees of the current school year. For this SY 2003-2004, membership fees are as follows: old members – P 50.00; new members – P60.00. (letter request approved by OSA on May 8,2003) 

              b.            Membership fees will be held changeable to meet the demands of the changing times prior to and upon request to the Adamson University Office of Student Affairs and its approval.

 Section 2.            All Civil Engineering Students who graduated from Adamson University prior to and upon adaptation of this Constitution shall automatically become an alumni of the Association.
