Maximillion Pegasus

     Maximillion Pegasus was the first main, and often humorous, villain to Yugi.  He's not really even a villain, just and antagonist to Yugi. Pegasus has a pure intension to bring back his loved one Cecilia.  Fate made him the owner of the Millennium Eye which gave him an evil way to go about his work.  He is able to steal souls and put them in cards, other objects, or the Shadow Realm.  He believes the more souls he has the more power he has to bring back Cecilia.  He is also looking for the other Millennium Items, especially the Millennium Puzzle.  He started the Duelist Kingdom Tournament to challenge Yugi.

     Maximillion Pegasus got the idea for Duel Monsters while in Egypt.  He brought sold the idea as a game making some "unstoppable" cards for himself.  These were the god cards.  He realized they were too powerful and had them buried underground near the Valley of the Kings.

     Pegasus is often humorous to watch.  He loves cartoon, especially his favorite "Funny Bunny."  He will take time out from his duels to talk and joke.  With the power of his Millennium Eye, he seldom looses.

Duelist Record - Undefeated until he lost to Yugi during the Duelist Kingdom tournament.  He hasn't been seen since then.

Overall importance to the Series:  8 out of 10.

     He was the main villain, but now he is loosing importance to the show now that he's gone.  He still gets credit for starting the series going with the Duelist Kingdom Tournament.
