Rex Raptor

 

    

     Rex Raptor used to be one of the top duelist around.  He was the runner up in the Regional Championships.  Then his career went down hill.  His "powerful" deck built around dinosaur cards was beaten by Mai, and Joey kicking him out of the Duelist Kingdom.  He didn't make it to the Battle City finals either.  His lose of status leads up to him becoming a Doom Warrior.  Rex is arrogant and overconfident in his abilities.  His bragging led him to a loss of the state room on the boat.  Later his arrogance lost him his Red Eyes Black Dragon to Joey.  Rex is now friends with Weevil and is starting to get along with Yugi and the rest of his friends.

 

Japanese Name:  Ryuusaki

 

Quotes - BLAH!  I don't know one.

 

Duelist Record - An average duelist.  He uses to be the runner up for Regional Championships.  He didn't make it to the finals for either Duelist Kingdom or Battle City.  He has become a Doom Warrior and gained Dark Power.

 

First Appearance - Episode 1,

 

Favorite Cards - Twin-Headed King Rex, Red Eyes Black Dragon (before Joey took it), Dinosaur Cards 

 

Overall importance to the Series:  6 out of 10.

     Used to be a threat but not any more.  Recently though he gained the Dark Power and dueled Joey.  He is actually rising of importance in recent episodes in Japan.
