Japanese Title. "Defeat
Me! Legendary Fighter Vritramon Runs Wild!" |
 As Grottomon rides through the digi world on Golemon's back, he recalls the
Evolution of Garmmon. He is disgusted by this. Garmmon had Evolved, and was out
of control. It had attacked the Children, and only Grottomon knew that your
freedom of speech and action were reduced in Beast form. So far only two Beast
Spirits have been found, but the finding of the second one was still a shock to
Grottomon. And then he heard the news, Vritramon (the form of the Beast Fire
Spirit) was spotted. The Children also heard of this, and went to see what was
happening. Apparently a Shamamon, a native Digimon to the area, had found the
Spirit and used it! Now the Children must claim this spirit for themselves, to
have an advantage over Gigasmon! But will the Children be able to overpower the
raging Vritramon? |

 The
Chosen Children had recovered the Beast Spirit of Fire, but they could not
control it. Vritramon flew into the air, and started to attack the other
children. Without the protection of his spirit, Tomoki ran to Vritramon and
tried to talk to him. Feeling the hurt and sympothy of Tomoki, Vritramon
returned to his normal state. Realizing the weakness of the situation, Grottomon
came up again and attacked! |

13. "Better an Egg, than an Eggshell" |

Japanese Title.
"Awake Seraphimon, The Secrets of Ten Ancient Warriors!" |
 The
Chosen Children arrived at the Forest Terminal in the woods, that they had
been searching for, at last. Seraphimon, one of the 3 Great Angels, just as
Cherubimon is, was sleeping there. When the light of Takuya's, and the other
Chosen Children's Digivices was collected, Seraphimon awoke, slowly. Seraphimon
told the Chosen Children the history of the Digital World. About the Warrior 10,
Lucemon and other occurances. Mercuremon, and the other Evil Hybrids attack
Seraphimon's sanctuary. Seraphimon protects the Chosen Children, but is met with
overwhelming power, as it was all a trap set in place by Mercuremon.

Episode 14. "No Way-mon" |

Japanese Title. "Thunder
that shakes the Rocks! Bolgmon's Death Match!" |
 The
team arrive at an underground cave, where Whamon is found. Bokomon decides to keep Seraphimon's
egg and puts it in his belt-thingy, while Whamon told the Children about how
Grottomon destroyed the ocean. Grottomon shows up with Arbormon, who captures
Agnimon and Wolfmon and Slide Evolves so they'll be unable to Evolve further.
Junpei tries to fight in vain, but Whamon releases the B-Spirit of Thunder, and
Junpei Evolves to Bolgmon, who gains control quickly, and defeats Grottomon,
taking his H-Spirit of Earth and giving the H-Spirit of Wind back to a delighted
Izumi. All that was left of Grottomon is a DigiEgg, which flies away. As the
ocean is restored, the team find themselves in Whamon's mouth, as they cross to
an island. |

"Cool Beast Evolution, Calmaramon!" |
 With
faithful "Fan-Club" members, Ranamon
sends them all to search for her Beast Spirit (as she is the only Evil Hybrid
without one). At the same time the Chosen Children decided to visit a store
where the Tucanmon perform business by the shore. This excited the Children
because they had free time to do other things like swim and even change clothes.
But the Tucanmon were dissapointed when they did not recieve their Digivices and
they revealed they were part of Ranamon's Fan-Club and stole their DigiVices!
Without their Digivices (which helds their Spirits), Ranamon attacked the
business area without the Children having the ability to evolve!

Episode 16. "The Swiss Family Digimon" |

Japanese Title. "Just
being strong isn't enough! The beautiful warrior, Shutumon!" |
 Ranamon
had successfully carried out Beast Evolution and become Calmaramon. Takuya, and
the others were repulsed by her form, but at the same time had to concentrate on
regaining their Digivices from the Toucanmon. Takuya and the others had
witnessed the Toucanmon heading for another island, but they were stopped by a
group of Gomamon. The island is that of the Gomamon's. However, a powerful
whirlpool, caused by Cherubimon's dark magic, occurs and it surrounds the
island, making the island unapproachable. Due to the whirlpool, it becomes
impossible for the Gomamon to return to their island. Calmaramon then takes the
opportunity to strike, and attacks. Izumi is the only one with a Digivice, so
she evolves to Fairymon, but is no match for Calmaramon's power, and is driven
into the whirlpool. In the whirlpool, Izumi finds the B Spirit of Wind, and
Shutumon is born!

Episode 17. "Bizarre Bazaar" |

Japanese Title. "Blizzarmon, Blow Snow, call the Glaciers!" |
 At
Nanomon’s (Datamon’s) store in the Akiba Market, Tomoki had discovered his
DigiVice. Tomoki tried to get it back from Nanomon, but Nanomon didn't
believe it was his and didn't give it back. Nanomon says he recieved the
DigiVice from the Toucanmon, so Tomoki went searching for the Toucanmon.
After finding the Toucanmon, Tomoki tries to recover the machine that allows
them to see inside the DigiVice (but fails). In rage, Tomoki ran back to the
Nanomon's store. When Nanomon used the Toucanmon's machine, he realized
Tomoki was the true owner and gave him his DigiVice back. Furthermore,
Nanomon inserted the Beast Spirit of Ice into the DigiVice! Tomoki evolved
into Blizzarmon and confronted Petaldramon! |

Episode 18. "Trailmon VS Trailmon" |

 Following
Ophanimon's advice, the Chosen Children head toward the nearest city. Upon
arrival, they all realize it is the day of the Trailmon race. Each of the
five children picked a Trailmon to race on, and bet on who would win. Little
did they know, WereGarurumon and his Dogmon companion are the current
champions and dont intend to lose. After cheating and racing dirty,
WereGarurumon made Takuya so mad that he evolved into Agnimon!

Burgurmon. Tomoki's Pure Heart" |
 After
winning the Trailmon competition, the children were rewarded with a trip to
the Burgermon Village! Everyone was happy, because they were relaxing and
the burgers were really good to eat. But one night (all of a sudden) a
storekeeping Burgermon was kidnapped by a huge puzzle Digimon. It seemed
that the Digimon was forcing him to make tasty burgers for himself! Tomoki
was determined to find the culperate, and save the Buergermon. Little did he
know the culperate was one of the Warrior Ten's Spirits, Petaldramon!

Japanese Title. "Mystery
Fighter Lurking in Darkness, Duskmon!" |
 After
being designated by the Burgermon, the Chosen Children move to the Shining
Star of the Rose. The Children hop aboard a Trailmon but end up in the
Continent of Darkness. Bokomon was concerned because his book recorded no
information of this Continent. Bokomon insists on going to the Shining Star
of the Rose and claims that all of the enemies the Chosen Children have
defeated aren't as strong as the enemies within the Continent. The Chlidren
also realize that they still need to meet one more of the evil Hybrids
serving Cherubimon. Meanwhile, Arbormon was growing in anger with the fact
that the Children still manage to decieve him ... so he searches for them.
While Bokomon is still worrying and complaining, the Children don't even
realize Arbormon is coming to get them! |
