Once the Chosen Children were finally ready to
subdue Arbormon, the frightful fifth Evil Hybrid appeared ... Duskmon. Duskmon
was sickened by Arbormon's lack of power and killed him ... even though they were
partners. Kouji realizes the power of Duskmon and urges everyone to retreat, but
the rest of the group didn't agree. With growing inpatient, Kouji took force
upon his friends telling them that they must go. But the group thought that they
would be stronger, and they marched towards Duskmon. The fight was about to
start, and Duskmon was ready! |

After
attempting to fight Duskmon, Takuya is defeated! He is taken by the Trailmon of
darkness, and is sent to the real world! Takuya walks about the streets,
forgetting of the last battle and of the enemy. But why was he a Digimon?!?! And
why could he see himself, Takuya, talking with his family?!?! While spying on
himself, he noticed that Takuya was answering the phonecall of Ophanimon. He had
returned to the first day of his Digital World adventure! He then notices Takuya
running outside to go to the Trailmon that took him to the Digital World in the
first place! The past Takuya ran after him, to stop him. But if he stopped
Takuya from going to the Digital World ... he wouldn't excist at that moment!
Not knowing what to do, the Takuya from the past keeps running to his Digital
World destiny ... |

Takuya finally realizes that Digimon isn't a game -- it has to be taken seriously, and that there are lives at stake. He returned back to the Digital World, to search for the rest of the chosen children. When he found them, they were being tickled by Ranamon and Mercurymon, who were trying to get the Spirits! Then Lobomon showed up and tried to fight but was too weak from the fight with Duskmon. Using the power of nature he had discovered, Takuya really sent the bad guys flying!

The gang headed off to the Rose Morning Star, but the trip was cut short cause the kids were blown into this freaky eyeball thing (Sakkakumon). While trying to find an exit, J.P. was pushed through a portal, into another dimension! There, he met Volcamon, became Beetlemon, then battled & beat the belligerent baddie, but not before getting a big dose of self doubt. Then his own shadow appeared, with thousands of evil clones of his friends, telling him they never really liked him in the first place! J.P. fought through his fears, and blew away the Shadow Beastie! But just when the REAL gang showed up, they all got shoved into their OWN wacky dimensions!

Tommy is all
alone in the Flame Sphere, while Kouji is in the Wind Sphere. Kouji
encounters Karatenmon. However, the ep is Tommy
-centered. Tommy encounters
Asuramon, who chases him around. Asuramon disguises himself and makes Tommy
believe he saved him. They become friends. Throughout the ep, Tommy has
flashbacks of his older brother. We also see occasional flashes of Wolfmon
fighting Karatenmon. There was much walking with Tommy and Asuramon.
Asuramon tells Tommy he should give him his Spirit since they're friends.
Tommy denies. Asuramon throws away his cloak and remembers him.
Things go boom, Chakmon slides to Blizzarmon and kicks Asuramon's butt.

Mirror, mirror, on the wall, who's the fairest of them all? Well, you'd better say 'Ranamon', or she'll sic her HoneyBeemon goons on you like she did on Zoe! Luckily, the HoneyBeemon weren't so hot on getting Zoe... they even became her friends! But Ranamon got Zoe to eat a poisoned apple and tried to convince her that no one liked her. They ended up in a real knock-down, drag-out fight, and Ranamon was FINALLY defeated! Zoe and her new friends met up with Tommy & the others, but Takuya & Koji were still trapped in their own worlds, and who knows when, or IF, they'll be able to get out?

Koji & Takuya were still stuck inside the bug-eyed Sakkakumon. Zoe, J.P. and Tommy Spirit Evolved to help them, but they couldn't get back inside! Unfortunately, Duskmon DID. Desperate to determine his connection to Koji, he squeezed Koji's memories about his dad & step-mom out of him. Duskmon was about to destroy Koji, when Bokomon's "baby" unleashed a NEW power source. Lobomon & KendoGarurumon Fusion Evolved into Beowolfmon! Meanwhile, Takuya battled and beat IceLeomon, but couldn't get to Koji in time to help!

It's bad enough when Mercurymon corners you in a world of mirrors and beats you up (just ask Agunimon!), but then he uses Seraphimon's data to turn into this big old baddie, ShadowSeraphimon! It looked like curtains for Takuya for sure. But energy from Seraphimon's Digi-Egg let Takuya Fusion Evolve to Aldamon, who kicked the Fractal Code out of ShadowSeraphimon AND Mercurymon! Takuya returned to the others and the Digi-Egg hatched, but inside was only a Patamon! And what good is THAT little guy gonna be against ALL the forces of darkness?

When we last left Koji, he had Fusion Evolved into Beowolfmon, and was trying to catch up with Duskmon. He wanted some answers from the dark dude, but blondie gave him the slip! Meanwhile, while everyone was celebrating the birth of Patamon, Sakkakumon decided to crash the party! He used the gang's own attacks against them, so he could take away their spirits. It looked bad for our heroes, until Aldamon figured out that by combining their attacks, they might get the upperhand! Mixing up their attacks mixed up Sakkakumon and spelled his defeat. Wow! When these guys work together, it really works!

As the battle between Duskmon & Beowolfmon raged on, Patamon was doing his best to lead the gang to Koji. But Cherubimon trapped them in this spikey dome thing! Then Cherubimon took advantage of Koichi's amnesia, and gave Duskmon his Beast Spirit. When Duskmon Beast Spirit Evolved to Velgemon, he forgot what little he still knew, and tried to destroy Koji! Thank goodness Ophanimon intervened in time to stop him. Now Koichi remembers that Koji is his brother, but both of them are still clueless! Boy, what a mess.
