Back in September of '02, I got the crazy idea that I needed a new car. Long story short, here it is! Dial-upers beware!! These are BIG! Your poor 56K will be begging for mercy by the time these load.... I took these like, the day after I bought it. Still looks about the same, except for the snow tires. I'm NOT taking any pics of that! Steelies n hubcaps! Yuck!

Short Term Plans Include Off road H-pipe, springs, pullies, timing adjuster, and some other little stuff like tint, bumper lettering, white face gauges, and stuff like that.
Long term plans... who knows. I'd eventually really like to have this car in the 10s while still having good handling. Not sure the route I'll take to get there.

The new shifter is great, very short throws and rock solid feel. Had to run to Lowe's because in the midst of the car being all taken apart, the project was halted for lack of $.22 woth of parts. Needed 2 bolts to attach the handle to the base. D'oh. Everything else went fine, works great, couldn't be happier with it. And saved tons of $$ buying a used one for $75 instead of $125-180+ for a new one. Not sure if I'm gonna keep the knob or not. Its kinda worn out, but I like leather. Might try a few things.

Nitto NT555s are on, much better! Definately have better straight line grab and have yet to break them loose around a corner.

Mufflers are on! You can't really see them once they're on the car... but... check this out. These shouldn't be too restrictive....

12/3/03 - 4.10 is installed, traction lock rebuilt, pinion, carrier, and axle bearings replaced. Can't wait to pick up the car and try it out! No more 85 MPH cruising on the highway, but the off the line charge should be worth it! Once the H-pipe and pullies are on, which will hopefully be in the spring, if I can't break 14s, I suck at driving.

Spring break '03 - Finally got an h-pipe! Thing has a NICE roar to it now! Definately picked up a little power, along with a nice growly sound thats a little different that the typical flowmaster sound you normally hear. I'll eventually post a sound clip.
