* Thuy's car was hit on I-5 between San Francisco and Los Angela by the wife of VIP Dustin Nguyen. Due to not wearing her seatbelt, Thuy was killed in the crash on impact, and Dustin's wife, Angela, was left quadrapeligic.
* TF episode "Circuit Unsure" was in dedication to Thuy's memory.
