Membership Survey Indicated High Satisfaction
by Ken Tilp

Our recent survey of members resulted in a return greater than ten per cent of the membership; that is considered very good for this type of organization and survey.

Sixty percent of those responding replied "Outstanding" when asked their overall impression of GINLC and its activities; the rest graded it "Good". By nearly two to one, respondents j thought Land Preservation should be the most important area of focus; the others checked "Environmental Education". Half of the respondents thought the Nature Area is open the "just right" amount of time; the other half thought it open "too little". All of the respondents thought three newsletters per year is "just right; all said they read all of it. About two thirds said they would welcome periodic updates by e-mail. It was rewarding to find about sixty per cent of the respondents willing to help with occasional GINLC projects like tree planting, annual property clean-up, etc..

The board of directors works hard to implement the mission of the GINLC and appreciates the members' approval of their efforts. Thanks!
