               Episode # 18 - Arena of Lost Souls (Part 2)

        Bones had just resurrected his fallen monsters as zombies!  Joey uses Cherubis and attacks the Clown zombie.  Since Call of Haunted is still in play, Bones resurrects the Clown zombie and he takes the field power bonus again raising him even more.  He attacks and it takes Joey down to 1530.

        Meanwhile, Tristan, Tea, Yugi, and Bakura are exploring the tunnels looking for Joey.  Bakura accidentally sets of a trap and the gang hears a rumbling noise from within the cave.  A boulder rushes at them and they run away.  When they reach a dead end, Tristan stands up to the boulder and punches it.  It explodes into pieces because it really was a balloon.

        Back at the duel, Joey is going over the situation.  Every time he attacks, Bones's monsters get stronger.  He knows that if he looses, he'll be kicked of the island and loose the chance to help his sister.  The though of Serenity helps him continue.  Joey draws Time Wizard and remembers all the times it helped him.  He summons him and uses the time roulette.  Bandit Keith looks worried but the needle lands on a skull and Joey's monsters are destroyed instead of Bones's.  Joey's life points fall to 630.  Bones plays Pumpkin King of Ghosts which raises all zombies attack points even more.  The powered up monsters easily destroy Joey's next there defensive monsters.

        It looks hope less when Yugi and the others walk into the duel room.  Joey explains that he was forced to duel and the two thugs attack Tristan when he tries to get to Joey.  Joey's reactions are to help his friend but Bandit Keith explains that if he steps off his stand, he forfeits that match.  Bandit Keith introduces himself to the others and Yugi remembers that Kaiba told them he is a great duelist.  Joey thinks with him coaching Bones, he has no chance.  Bones sends another one of Joey's defense monsters to the graveyard.  Joey tells him he's waiting for a chance to attack.  Bones uses stop defense so Joey's monsters can't defend themselves.  So Joey sends Red Eyes Black Dragon to attack the Pumpkin King.  Call of the Haunted won't work on him because he was a zombie to begin with.  The Dragon Zombie destroys Red Eyes and brings Joey down to 150.

       Yugi knows there is one strategy left but Joey must trust the Heart of the Cards.  The card he draws is Shield and Sword switching all monsters attack points with their defense.  Since the zombies don't have defense points their attack is now 0.  Joey plays Battle Warrior and drains the rest of Bones's life points and wins four more star chips.  Bandit Keith gets up to leave and says Joey would never be able to stand up against him.  Joey says he will defeat him one day.  Keith and his goons seal up the cave with a boulder and Keith steals his friends star chips.  They equal ten exactly and he heads off to Pegasus's castle.  Yugi and his friends are stuck inside the cave with no way out!

Episode Rating (1-10) 8.7  This episode was so much better than the last one.  The dueling was awesome and there was a bit of mystery and fright when Yugi and the others tried to find Joey.  The ending is great leaving Yugi trapped in a cave!
