THE HEART OF THE CARDS ...Trust in the Heart
EPISODE GUIDE
Episode # 19 -Double Trouble Duel: (Part 1) Yugi and the others are trapped in the caves where Joey defeated Bones, but Bakura's Millennium Ring starts to lead them deeper into the caves. Meanwhile, Pegasus is relaxing watching Yugi with his Millennium Eye. Pegasus remembers Kaiba took care Mokuba when their parents died. He knew Kaiba would come to free Mokuba’s sould. In the caves, Bakura is leading the way through the caves until they reach a room that holds a dueling arena and two guys named Paradox Brothers. One named Para and the other named Dox. They explain that if they're beaten, then they will have a choice between 2 doors, one leads to an endless maze and another leads to Pegasus' castle. They challenge Yugi and Joey to a tag-team duel. Joey wagers 2 star chips and Yugi bets 4. They notice that the brothers have a full set of ten on their gauntlets. The Paradox Brothers explain that each duelist will start with 2000 life points like usual but if one of the duelists loses all his points, his partner loses as well. When playing in the labyrinth, the power level of your monster equals the amount of spaces you can move. If Yugi and Joey succeed, then they would have to choose between the two doors. Dox leads off with the Labrynth Wall (L5 0/3000), which turns the field into a maze. Joey argues this isn’t fair so one brother says he will speak nothing but the truth from now on but the other brother will tell you nothing but lies. Then they both try to convince them that their door on the right is the one that leads out. Joey thinks this sounds like an old riddle he knew and the brothers allow them each to ask them a question. So Joey asks which door are they guarding and they point to Dox's door. Yugi isn’t convinced and believes they're both lying since the liar could never admit to it. Meaning when they said one will speak nothing but truth and the other lies, the liar could never admit to lying since he would be telling the truth. Yugi decides to win the duel and worry about the door later. He plays Beaver Warrior (L4 1200/1500) and moves it 4 spaces into the maze. Para plays Shadow Ghoul (L4 1600/1300) with the magic card called Polymerization to fuse it with Labyrinth Wall to become Wall Shadow. It destroys Beaver Warrior and slips back into the wall it came out of. Joey argues that it cheated, but since it moved on the wall where there are no spaces, its was legal. On Joey's turn he played Axe Raider (L4 1700/1150) in attack mode and also lays another card in the magic/trap zone face down. He decided to stay away from the Wall Shadow and doesn’t move on his turn. Tristan is worried that the brothers will focus on the weaker duelist, which is Joey. It's Dox's turn and he plays one card in the magic/trap zone face down and plays Labyrinth Tank (L7 2400/2400) in attack mode. It's now Yugi's turn and he plays Celtic Guardian (L4 1400/1200) in attack mode and moves him 4 spaces into the maze. The brothers try to attack it with Wall Shadow but it is trapped by Joey’s face down Kuni with Chain. It also raised Celtic Guardian's attack power by 500 points. Celtic Guardian then destroys Wall Shadow, dropping Para's life points to 1600. Meanwhile, Kaiba is making his way to Pegasus’s castle. Summary By YamiHikari Screen Shots (Coming Soon...)
