Episode # 23 -Face Off: (Part 2)
Kaiba and Yugi both are at 1500 Life Points and Kaiba's La Jinn is hiding in its Magic Lamp trap card. Yami Yugi has only his Dark Magician. In his hand he has, Horn of the Unicorn, Multiply, Swords of Revealing Light and Eye of Truth. Bakura explains that Yami Yugi fell into Kaiba's trap but Tea says that the game is just beginning. In her heart, she asked the other Yugi to fight hard.
Meanwhile, Keith watches the duel from his tower. He says that the first exchange was to test the potential of both duelists, this exchange will be for real. Yami Yugi says that now is the time to determine who will be the winner. Kaiba thinks to himself that the real battle is beginning as well and that the fusion of his three Blue Eyes White Dragons will only lead to one conclusion, Yugi's loss. Kaiba calls back his disk and draws a card. He says that he drew De-Spell and he will use it with his La Jinn to destroy one of Yugi's magic cards. The attack destroys his Swords of Revealing Light. Kaiba says that that card could have helped him had he not destroyed it just now. Bakura wonders if Yugi will be able to defeat Kaiba's combo.
Yami Yugi draws Magic Box of Death and thinks that he has what he needs to defeat Kaiba's combo. Kaiba calls to him to attack, saying there might be another trap hidden. Yami Yugi says that he won't do anything and plays his Eye of Truth. Kaiba's hand is revealed to Yami Yugi. Kaiba's cards are De-Spell, Saggi the Dark Clown, Magic Lamp and a Blue Eyes White Dragon. Yami Yugi is surprised that Kaiba has one and wonders why he hasn't played it yet. Kaiba says that by using that Eye of Truth, Yami Yugi might have found out his strategy. His goal is to fuse his three Blue Eyes White Dragons but he will need the Polymerization card to do it. He wants Yugi to leave the island in shame. Yami Yugi catches on to what Kaiba is thinking, he has no cards good enough to take down Blue Eyes. His first priority is to get rid of the combo Kaiba already played. He plays Magic Box of Death to destroy Kaiba's Magic Lamp card. Yami Yugi's Dark Magician comes out of the second box unharmed and he uses it to destroy La Jinn, taking Kaiba to 800 Life Points.
Yami Yugi declares that he will win before Kaiba can fuse the three Blue Eyes White Dragon's. Kaiba says that Yugi knows him well but his formula to winning is perfect. He takes his turn and has Saggi and Crush Card Virus in his hand, saying he will show him the most terrifying combo he has. He places both cards on his disk and tosses it out, his monster in defense. Yami Yugi is hesitant to attack from his past experience with Saggi but draws a card and gets Gaia the Fierce Knight. He decides to use it and sends him instead of the Dark Magician. Gaia attacks and pieces of Saggi fly everywhere. Yami Yugi thinks he's defeated the monster but Kaiba says its another trap. The pieces disintegrate and Yami Yugi's Gaia disintegrates as well. Kaiba says that's not all and Yami Yugi's Black Magician disintegrates from his hand as well. Kaiba shows Yami Yugi the card responsible and explains that Saggi was just bait for the trap. Due the Gaia's attack, the virus spread into Yami Yugi's deck and now he cannot play any monsters with an attack power of 1500 or more. Yami Yugi looks at his display on his card holder, which is flashing VIRUS. Kaiba says he can't do anything.
Tristan wonders what will happen to Yugi now and Bakura explains again that no monster over 1500 can be played or it will be destroyed, unless they're combined with magic cards. From his perch, Keith says that Kaiba is not doing too bad and that Yugi has lost. Yami takes his turn and draws Summoned Skull, but it has been infected with the virus since it's attack is 2500. Yami Yugi sees that for now, he can only defend and sends his Silver Fang for defense. Kaiba says that all of Yugi's monsters are easily beatable now and draws a card, the second Blue Eyes. He says that Yugi will use this time to defend his Life Points but Kaiba will use this time to get his third Blue Eyes and the Polymerization he needs to create the fusion. Kaiba places his Battle Ox 1700/1000. Kaiba easily destroys Silver Fang. Kaiba begins laughing and says he still has some stronger monsters for him. Kaiba says that even if he defeats the Battle Ox, he will still have trouble defeating his other monsters. Its Yugi's turn.
Yami Yugi says that he can't even beat the Battle Ox, much less take on the Blue Eyes he knows Kaiba is hiding. Yami Yugi's hand has Mammoth Graveyard, Horn of the Unicorn, and Multiply. Kaiba tells him to draw his next card, it will be beatable anyway. Yami is thinking that he can only just wait until his life points go to 0. Yami draws Griffor 1200/1500 and plays it in attack mode. Kaiba sees he played such a weak monster to defend with and Yami Yugi says he didn't use it to defend with. Yami Yugi plays his Horn of the Unicorn to his Griffor, raising it to 1900 and it destroys the Battle Ox, taking Kaiba to 600 Life Points. Kaiba thanks Yugi for destroying his Battle Ox and he draws his next card, the third Blue Eyes White Dragon. Kaiba now has all three Blue Eyes in his hand. Kaiba then plays Holy Elf Blessing to increase his life points by 300, taking it to 900. Yami Yugi sees why he wasn't concerned about Battle Ox, since he had that card, he could get the life points back. Kaiba calls back his disk and says to himself that he will send out one of his Blue Eyes on this turn and on the next turn, he will bring out the fusion. He tosses out his disk and summons his Blue Eyes 3000/2500)and uses it to destroy Griffor. Yugi only has 400 Life Points. It's now Yami Yugi's turn and he summons his Giant Soldier of Stone 1300/2000 in defense mode. Kaiba takes his turn and gets the very card he wanted Polymerization. Kaiba says that after his first match with him, it was the first time that he experienced losing. Now he wants to pass that feeling onto him. Kaiba places his card onto the disk and tosses it back out.
He flips all his cards to face Yami Yugi, the two Blue Eyes and the Polymerization and the Blue Eyes on the field begins to crack and it explodes. In it's place a beam of light comes from the ground and as it disappears, a monster with a body resembling a Blue Eyes appears but with three heads, The Blue Eyes Ultimate Dragon. A monster with 4500 attack points and 3800 defends points!
Kaiba laughs and asks what does Yami Yugi think and says that this is the most powerful dragon in the game and everyone marvels at what Kaiba has created. Even Keith is impressed. Tea believes that Yugi can still win with a miracle and prays for one. He's up against a monster with 4500 attack power and he can't use a monster with an attack power of over 1500 His life points are almost gone. Yami looks at his hand and sees that he has no monsters that can even compare with the Ultimate Dragon. He has Mammoth Graveyard, Multiply, and Polymerization. Kaiba says that the loser stigmata that he has carried for so long is now being passed to him. Kaiba attacks with the Ultimate Dragon and destroys the monster. Kaiba tells Yugi its his turn and Yami Yugi wonders what can he do against such a powerful monster. Yami Yugi starts to draw his next card and stops midway. Yugi's friends cheer him on and Joey says that it's their mission to get to the castle, he can't give up when the door is right in front of him. If he gives up, the door to the castle will be closed on him. Yami Yugi then remembers how Pegasus took Grandpa's soul. He says that he will not give up. Kaiba agrees, saying he must fight until the last minute. He has to use his full ability. Yami knows that if he cannot draw a card that will help him, he will lose in the next round. This turn will determine the outcome of the duel! Yugi draws the final card, saying this card is important to his life. The final card that will determine the duel...
