Blessed are those who live each day with eternity in
view, For in looking back on life there will be no regrets.

Blessed are those who embrace a vision
greater than themselves, For what they give their lives to will
endure forever.

Blessed are those who are passionate about
the worship to come, For assembled will be every tribe, nation,
people and language.

Blessed are those who leave houses and land
for the
10/40 window, For there most of the
unfinished task remains, but laborers are few.

Blessed are those who commit to staying for
the long-term, For cross-cultural effectiveness increases with
time.

Blessed are those who are commited to prayer
and small groups, For in those contexts lives are forever
changed.

Blessed are those who serve with a vibrant,
caring, visionary team, For in the midst of healthy community,
results dramatically increase.

Blessed are those who share life and teach,
For in doing so each of these blessings can be personally
realized.
Matthew 6:27
Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life?
The common idea that Christians claim they are better than
other people is an utter travesty of the Christian position.
The Christian position is rather that I belive that I am utterly
and hopelessly apart from the grace of God. ...the only hope
for man is in the Gospel and in the grace of God. This is a
gospel for sinners.
-- Martyn Lloyd-Jones
Luke 19:10
For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.
Every minute you are thinking of evil, you might have been thinking of good instead. Refuse to pander to a morbid interest in your own misdeeds. Pick yourself up, be sorry, shake yourself, and go on again.
