Chapter two
Later that night Zell is walking along the halls huffing and
puffing to himself when he sees Seifer coming down the halls in his general
direction. He looked around for a quick place to hide, but it was too late.
"You better not-..." He started to say but to his
surprise all Seifer said was, "Hey Zell." And kept going by.
".....That was weird." Zell was saying his
thoughts out loud. "I thought for sure he was gonna-...Aaah!"
"Ha ha, wet enough for ya? Chicky." Seifer said
holding a now empty bucket that contained water over Zells head.
"You're gonna pay for that, Seifer!" He shouted
clenching his fist. "Aaww what you gonna do, give me another one of your
love taps? Ha!" But Zell was already revved up to strike, so Seifer turned
on his heals and ran with the martial artist not to far behind him. He peeled
around a sharp corner and into the boys dormitory halls then into his room
hearing the door slide shut and feeling it on his back he let out a sigh.
"You can't stay in there forever. And when you come out
I'll beat you into another life how's that dough boy!?" Zell shouted in
anger through the door.
"Do whatever you want chicken wuss, it makes no
difference to me!" Seifer shouted back. "Fine. Then I'll do something horrible to you, something so bad...so
bad....so bad I don't even know what it is yet!" He banged his hand on the
door. "So you'd better watch your back Almasy." And with that, he
left.
Seifer left his ear to the door to make sure he was really
gone and when he was sure of it he leaned against it with a sigh. 'Smooth
Seifer, now he's gonna hate you forever....but, why do I care any way?' He
thought to himself pushing off the door and going into his bathroom starting
the shower water.
As he removed his clothes his vision glanced down to his
dick and he noticed it had a nice sized erection from the little Thunder God
and he didn't mean Hyperion.
"Looks like Zells temper isn't the only thing rising."
He said to himself with a slight laugh. 'Why is he doing this to me? I mean,
sure I had gay flashes once or twice in my life but that was when I was a kid
for me to do that now would be like....what's that word....?
It's not important right now, but even if I might have a thing for Zell,' he stepped into the
shower and slid the glass door over. "He'd never have a thing for
me...Damn." He said the last of his thoughts out loud to make sure his
mind knew that but it was just as stubborn as his physical sense and kept
thinking about Zell making it impossible to concentrate.
The knight washed himself contently going gently over the
swollen flesh. He let out a light sigh as the water re-hit it and his hands
wandered down towards it, but he brought them back up. 'Imagine what life would
say about that, me and the chicken wuss together.' He shook his head. 'I
can't...rrr..see that happening.' He thought letting out a sigh from what his
hands had found themselves doing to him anyway. 'Alright just this once, but no
more.' He agreed to himself silently as he grabbed his shaft pumping it in and
out of his hand.

The next morning they were paired off with their buddies in
the library.
Although with Irvine around that seemed a little hard for
Squall to do, oh sure they were about more than sex but when ever they were
around each other they couldn't stop giving each other little glances and
"accidental" touches of attention.
"Come on
"
"I am not
sensitive."
"Man, how
could you put up with that everyday?" The martial artist asked when
"Oh yeah I can see the flyers up for that one."
The commander replied with a thin small smile. "Ha, never thought you'd
crack on someone." Zell said laughing to himself.
In the back of the room Selphie is working on the computer
while Seifer is taking long glances at Zell. Snap! Snap! "Earth
to Seifer you in there?" She asked him and he blinked back into movement
then looked at her. "What? Did you mess something up?"
"Ha ha haa, ha ha ha haa. Nooo, I didn't mess something
up, I need your opinion on this." She said pointing to the screen he gave
her a brief look of, 'You've got to
be kidding me?' then turned his vision to the screen. "Yeah it looks
fine." He said standing. "But you barely looked at it." She
argued and he patted her head. "I don't care what we do, lets just quickly get it done."
"Alllright, but, wait a minute where are you
going?" She asked him as he turned himself away and began to exit the
library. "Away." He said simply and she sighed slouching her
shoulders. "Men. I'll be by your room tonight okay?" She said and
went back to work but returned her head in the same direction it had been a
second ago feeling a hand on her shoulder. "Hey Selphie." Zell said
sitting down at the empty seat next to her with Squall at his other side.
"Where'd your partner go?" Squall asked. "Away. You didn't hear
him?" She responded. "Nah, we don't speak loser." Zell replied.
turning on the screen.
No one had seen Seifer hide behind a shelf in the front of
the library and he looked to the back where they were sitting and listened in
on them. "What, you don't like him?" She asked taking notes then
gazing at him. "Of course not! He's a mean,
heartless, ass hole, who deserves
nothing but cruelty for all the years of torture hes put me through."
Selphie raised an eye brow to that and shook her head. "Don't let people
get to you Zell, it'll only ruin everything."
"That sounds insane." Squall said taking notes as
well and she threw an old balled up piece of paper at him, btu he swatted it
away. "Come on, he's a jerk. I mean this guy makes coffee nervous."
They laughed lightly to that and Zell went on with the insults. "He so
sour lemons curl in from him." Selphie started squealing with laughter
kicking her feet and shielding where she felt the laugh tickle on her neck with
her clasped hands.
"Do a Seifer impression." She called out and Zell-
never letting a chance to pick on someone himself stood up and straightened his
back lifting his nose into the air. "I'm Seifer and bo-o-oy am I
angry!" She laughed again and Seifer shook his head with a frown. 'Is that
what they really think of me?' He wondered. "Seifer? What are
you-....?"
He spun around sharply and clasped a hand over her mouth
walking out of the library still holding her as he did so while she kept up his
pace walking backwards.
When they reached the hall way he leaned her over the rail
and breathed in her face. "Don't ever
sneak up on me again. Got it?" The young woman nodded and he let her go
and she adjusted herself before she spoke again. "Seifer you didn't have
to drag me into the hall way for that."
"My dear instructor....get a hobby nosey is a terrible
color on everyone." The knight said and she just laughed into her palm.
"Isn't that the pot calling the kettle black?" She said and he looked
at her a little lost then shrugged.
"Yeah? Well how now, brown cow." He retorted and
she shook her head. "What I mean is, you're a fine one to talk when you
were obviously spying on Squall and everyone."
"Leonhart? What the fuck does he have to do with
anything? I was just making sure they weren't talking about me, that's
all."
"Uh-huh. And since when did you care about whom talked
about you?" Quistis asked crossing her arms. "Hey I have feelings
too, you know?" She shook her head. "No, I didn't know. you usually
portray such a heartless, mean, ass hole. So it'd be really hard to tell."
She said turning away. "Whatever Trepe. We'll see how easily your feelings
can be hurt someday!" He called after her and she just waved a hand over
her shoulder.
'I am not a heartless,
mean, ass hole. I just care less then normal people....but I'll show them, and
who knows I might even be able to patch things up with the chicken so that
someday we might-....I'm getting ahead of myself first I gotta figure out this nice thing.' He winced at the very
thought of it and walked down the hall.
Back in the library. "So what are you gonna do about
Seifer?" Selphie asked and Zell thought for a moment then blinked back
from his thoughts. "I don't know, it's not like can avoid him, he's everywhere!"
"You nkow what you do for people like him? You ignore
them, it drives them nuts and then they stop bothering you." Squall stated
very matter-of-factly. "Or they pick on you worse." Zell added
closing his books. "Done with my half of this thing, thank Hyne because I
smell lunch cooking and I wanna be first one there. See you guys later."
He got up from his chair and walked out of the library after
returning the books to the shelf.
"Poor thing. Maybe I should talk to Seifer for him, and
tell him to stop picking on him." The energetic girl said to a half
listening Squall. "Maybe you should just leave it alone, there's no
helping some people." He said mostly to himself but loud enough for her to
hear. "That's why I'm thankful for people like me, because guys like you
give up waaay to quickly and what if it were
"......Whatever." He responded putting on his
leave me alone now face. "Uh-huh, I thought so." She crossed her legs
and turned off her computer screen. "See you in the lunch room." She
said to the commander and he nodded.
Selphie pranced away and Squall said lowly to her air space.
"Of course it would be different." After that had passed he went back
to work.
................................................
Later that night Seifer was taking a shower again letting
his hands do the thinking for him when he heard a knock on the door.
"Shit." He mumbled to himself. "Who the fuck could that
be?" He thought for a moment then rolled his eyes. "Right, little
messenger girl." After a loud annoyed groan, he stepped out of the shower
wrapping a towel around his waist grabbing another one to dry his chest and
hair as he walked out the bathroom to get the door.
When it slid open Selphie was standing there with a bright
smile on her face, until she looked down then she blushed and turned her vision
lower to her boots. "What?" He asked leaning an arm against the door
frame. "U-uh, I came so we could work on our project together,
remember?" She said then looking up.
"Unfortunately for me. Come on in." He gestured
and she brightened up with all her blush fading. "Really?!" She
bounced inside trailing the words 'Cool.' past him.
When she got inside she looked around for a place to sit and
chose an arm chair in the corner. "Sa-a-ay, what a nice room you got here.
Did you get someone to decorate it?" She turned to look at him and his
towel was dropped as he changed into his night wear. She looked away with a
blush and faint smile, then covered her eyes and turned back to him. "No.
I did it myself, it's no big deal." He answered pulling a shirt over his
head and walking to the bed sitting down.
"Come over here so I can look at this shit I don't feel
like talking across the room to you." He ordered and she shrugged skipping
the distance over to his bed and placing the papers down. "Alright what is
all of this?"
"Well see it's about the digestive system of the Wendigo.
I printed pictures from the computer earlier and I wrote out some of the
report, I thought maybe you could do the rest aaand since you have the attention span of a fruit fly I thought it'd be
a good idea if I helped you." She smiled brightly but when he looked at
her face all he heard was their laughter and he looked away.
"My vision is burning and you're totally damaging my
karma, what's wrong?" She leaned in so he couldn't avoid seeing her face.
"You can tell me, I won't tell anyone. Scouts honor." She said
holding her index and middle fingers up together and he huffed out laughter.
"It's three fingers, stupid." He said putting up her ring finger with
them. "Welll whatever." She put her hand down. "So what is
it?"
".....It's...." He started to say but the words
wouldn't come out and she elbowed him in the arms. "Come oonnn." She
coaxed and he thought it over for a second. 'I guess I could trust her, maybe a little- who knows she might even be able
to help me....okay, here goes.'
"...Do you think I'm mean?" He asked and she
widened her eyes in surprise to the question. "No. Where in the world did
you get that idea?"
'Talk about liar.' He thought and shrugged continuing.
"I've heard things, that's all."
"Well, you're not mean per say...you're just- Seifer, we wouldn't expect anything else
from you."
"Oh." He said to his lap. "Heey, chin up kid.
Plenty people think your nice. Remember that time you helped me with my....no
wait that was a dream. Oh! How's about that time you....no wait that wasn't
even you."
"You see!" He nearly shouted at her. "What?
What? So who cares if you're not the nicest person in the world I still love
you like my friend."
"And I love you back for it but this is kind of
important for me okay?" He said and she looked blank and asked. "What
for?"
"There's someone I like-..." He started but was
cut off by an, "Aaaww."
"Yeah. Anyway this person thinks I'm a jerk and I don't
think heee- this person," he corrected himself. "would want me unless
I was nice to them."
"I see.... So what does that mean, where do I come
in?" She asked smoothing her jumper against her legs to avoid looking at
him again. "You could help me with this whole...nice shtick." She looked up at him and thought it over then
made a huge smile. 'Uh-oh, baaad idea.' He thought suddenly. "I'd love it!
But only if you promise to do your share of the report?" She said
bargaining with him.
"........Deal. So you'll help me?" He asked again
to be sure and she nodded holding out her hand. "Yyyup."
"Alright." He said taking her hand shaking it.
"But wait whose the person?"
"I can't tell you." He replied looking at the
papers on his bed. "Fair enough. Lets get started."
"On the nice thing?" He said hopefully looking at
her. "Noo, with work."
He groaned leaning his head back into it. 'Maybe I should
rethink my low stitch gambling methods.'
