The late spring sunsets around the Perl Necklace are amongst Caer Dalwin's greatest natural wonders. Each night the sky erupts into a riot of colour, as the sun's last rays are reflected off the red and pink sky algae in the clouds, into the water below.
The proxigean tide - which occurs twice annually, due to Caer Dalwin's dual moons - brings large amounts of sand unusually high up the beaches. At this time, fishing in the lagoon often yields deepwater fish and large mollusks brought in and trapped by strong currents and reefs.
