Biography:
Gav was just a normal guy with no worries and not a thing to fret about, until he met Edward Howard...
Gav the Hedgehog was born in 1988 in Ganu. Originally, his life was normal. He was just a normal human who went to school, but he only ever kept a small group of close friends. His best friend was a boy named Mada, who lived nearby.
Gav always had feelings for a girl called Rachel who went to his school. He admired her greatly, but he never wanted to tell her because he felt embarressed. By the time he reached 13, he started to have his feelings grow stronger, but he still tried to hold back.
However, he didn’t know how much things were going to be changed. A few weeks into his 13th year, he became friends with a reclusive, lonely boy by the name Edward Howard. He always seemed to feel sorry for the boy, as he always felt he was lonely. Gav, however, was unaware that he was in fact being manipulated for a grander scale.
One day Gav found Edward in a dark, secluded area. He was talking to two men, both of them in cloaks. Gav approcahed Edward only to be severely snapped at. Gav backed away, confused. The next day, Edward wasn’t at school either. Gav and Mada went to check out Edward’s house to see what was going on.
Gav first realised his hedgehog form on this day. Edward appeared before him on his giant house, and imprisoned him and Mada. Edward transformed into Reptile, a clone of Gav. One of the men who appeared before, who’s name was Jimmy, also appeared. He looked slightly disfigured now. Reptile lent forward and bent towards him, apart to put his power into him, but Gav managed to escape and grab Reptile. The energy meant for Jimmy was transferred into Gav, revealing his true powers.
Unknown to Gav, Gav was part of an ancient propechy years before as a savior of the Earth. Gav was unaware that he had been cloned by someone before he was even born to make use of this power. The clone, Reptile, was designed to feel no emotion. He was also modified to have access to more of his skills than Gav had, and was raised with the sole purpose of destroying Gav, both physically and mentally, and exterminating the human race.
Gav and Mada managed to escape, but agreed to discuss it with Mada the next day. The amount of information they had gained in that sole day was almost too much too bare.
Gav and Mada met up the next day down the high-street. However, on the way there Gav bumped into a Chao walking past by mistake. The Chao left, threatening Gav on her way. Gav shrugged it off and decided to meet up with Mada. When they met up, however, they encountered the Chao again, this time in a group with other Chao. Gav overheard them discussing to go stealing for fun, and saw her leave with the group after another brief row.
After Gav and Mada went back to Gav's house, it wasn't long before the Chao tried to steal from his house as part of her game. Gav chased after the chao using his new hedgehog skills, but unfortunately the consequences were worse than he thought. Accidentally, he warped the Chao and himself to a secret base in the middle of the ocean. Discovering that he needs to control his powers more, Gav and the Chao were imprisoned by the base's new owner, Shadow Hard Core and his assistant Zelda.
After managing to escape from a cell with the Chao, Gav and Shadow Hard Core end up fighting as Gav discovers the mysterious hedgehog's intentions, relaunching a broken fortress known as the Egg Carrier. Gav defeats Hard Core, but soon afterwards discovers the hedgehog's past and realises the suffering he's been through. He doesn't have time to think it over though, as he manages to make the base self-destruct on itself. Forced to fall into the ocean, he tried to save the Chao who was being forced into a similar fate. However, his efforts were in vain as the Chao is saved shortly by Shadow Hard Core and his bi-plane. However, Hard Core also tries to save Gav, for being the only person to ever care about his past. Despite their efforts though, neither would have survived. However, both were saved by the Chao, who proves her worth. Despite an uneasy start, the three decide to form a friendship to find a way back to their homes as the bi-plane is destroyed. The Chao also earns the name Cool Chao.
Little did he know this was soon to spark off a chain of events that would lead to the near destruction of the world...
Gav has witnessed many deaths in his time since joining with the group. His hometown was burned to the ground by Reptile. That same day, Gav watched Rachel persih in the flames, and his feelings for her haunted him ever since, blaming himself for her death.
Gav was also the character who discovered Blue the Echidna. The two met on Blue's native Lost Island, when Gav was travelling on a quest to try and discover about the prophecy. But fortunately, the two became friends, and Gav convinced him to come with him, and eventually to join the SCP.
Gav shares a close friendship with the SCP inhabitants. He has experienced confusion over feelings of love over the new member Ashley, who remains a mystery to all of the group except Cool Chao, who seems to know her. Gav is considered to be the leader of the group by a few, but he tries his best to hold back and let others take control. He is quick thinking and has fast reflexes, which often make him appear reckless.
Gav's past has haunted him since the very day Rachel supposedly died. Now he lives trying to keep the memory secret. His only quest now is for revenge on Reptile, but he will do anything to protect his friends who are caught up in the problem. He is caring and sentimental, and a bit gullable, but he means well and does his best to protect who he can. His powers of healing have proved often useful to the group, as he seems to be able to cure any wound, but how is unknown to any.
Gav now shares a close friendship with his mag, Omochao, and a mysterious guardian spirit that protects him wherever he goes...

Windmill of Death (made by Kamain) - Twists body round 360 degrees when jumping to cause a drill like effect
Final Rage - Â Caused when near death, strong but energy consuming
Flame Burst - Hands get engulfed in flames, body unaffected again
Particle Shield - Draws air particles in a cirlce together to create a solid but transparent shield immune to laser blasts, can hold other people inside
Full Heal - By placing hands on head, can heal people completely from illnesses or wounds. Can't reverse death but can stop it
Chaos Control (Sonic Team) - Draws on Chaos Emerald power to warp through time or space (or both)
Weapons:
2 Stimulator Automatic +'s (Headhunter) - 16 rounds, uses electronic neuro bullets so not to harm body tissue but can damage enviroroments
Scorpion Neurostunner (Headhunter) - Charges up a bullet at a time for about a second, can knock the enemy unconscious with no side affects or damage to body tissue
6 Grenades - Standard grenades

Design Comments: When I made Gav, I really wish I had come up with a more original design. As it is, his shoes are the most original part of his design. But everyone knows Gav as looking like this, so I really don't want to change him. His human form is based on me, well, really based on Jack from Revelation, an anime version of how I thought I would look drawn in anime. As such, he's a very unoriginal character in terms of design, with the most noticable changes between Human Gav and Jack being the hair and the shirt colour being direct opposites. Super Gav was based on an inverted version of Gav, when I found Sonic's colour of blue inverted to yellow and Shadows' colour of black inverted to silver. Hyper Gav isn't even original, really, as he was based majorly on Fleetway's Super Sonic. So all in all, a very unoriginal design XD. Meh... like I care :P
