Fact: Did You Know ? | Starscream was thought to be destroyed, but in fact only his exoskeleton was destroyed by Galvatron. Starscream holds the key to eternal existence. Starscream's "Ghost" first roamed the depths of Cybertron. Now his spark wanders the universe. With no body he takes possession of new hosts when able. His eternal existence has never dampened his deception. If any transformer ever defined the word Deception, he would be the one. |
The episode opens on the ruined planet of Char, which is occupied by the Decepticons. A group of Decepticons consisting of Galvatron, Cyclonus, Scourge (the leader of the Sweeps), several other Sweeps, and two Predacons - Rampage & Headstrong, are walking along one day. Starscream's Ghost materialises and startles Scourge. After taking over his body, he proceeds at taking pot-shots at Galvatron and the others, before being forced to flee when they retaliate. Galavatron orders the Predacons to hunt Scourge down, not realizing it was Starscream behind it, but Cyclonus insists it should be him and the Sweeps to go after the Traitor. Galvatron agrees. Starscream takes Scourge to Unicron's Head, which is in orbit of Cybertron. Re-activating Unicron's brain, Starscream requests to have his old body back, knowing that only Unicron has that power. Unicron will grant his request after three labors are performed. Scourge reluctantly stays with Starscream, knowing that he can't return to Char because Galvatron now thinks he tried to kill him. For the first Task, Unicron orders Starscream to retrieve for him the eyes of the Autobot City Metroplex.
TASK ONE.
At the Autobot City Metroplex, Sky Lynx drops off Kup and Spike for an inspection. Present at the City are Bumblebee, Powerglide, Blaster & Warpath. Starscream's Ghost blows out Metroplex's Scurity System, putting the Autobots at a frenzy preoccupied with a Red Alert. Starscream and Scourge takes one of Metroplex's Eyes. Bumblebee and Spike unexpectedly show up to secure Metroplex's Brain Vault, and almost drives into Scourge, who drops and shatters the Eye. Starscream and Scourge take the other Eye and set a Photon Charge. Metroplex senses them, and begins to transform in a panic.
"Decepticon Intruder in my Brain. Decepticon Intruder removes my Eye." - Metroplex
Metroplex transforms without warning, knocking the Autobots around inside, and Starscream and Scourge escape breaking out through Metroplex's eye socket. As Scourge flies away, he's momentarily pursued by PowerGlide and two (unidentified) Arielbots. But when Metroplex, in a panic, starts shooting blindly, he shoots down Powerglide. When the Photon Charge detonates, it leaves Metroplex locked in a defenseless City Mode, and the Autobots unable to report what happened. Starscream makes Scourge return to Char to replace Metroplex's destroyed Eye by taking one of Trypticon's. They bury the first Eye so it won't be found.
With the front door of Trypticon being guarded by Runamuck and Runabout, Starscream's Ghost takes over Runabout, blasts Runamuck, and runs Runabout right into a wall, knocking him out. Starscream and Scourge enter the City. Runamuck is able to set off the alarm.
Astrotrain, Thundercracker(?), and Thrust(?) hear the alarm and come running.
After Scourge gets Metroplex's Eye, Astrotrain literally runs into Scourge, so Starscream takes him over because he's got more cargo room than Scourge does.
When Starscream and Scourge retrieves the buried Eye, Thundercacker(?) and Thrust(?) show up and start blasting, but they escape in Astrotrain.
Now knowing that Starscream was behind Scourge's attack, plus the fact that Starscream took Astrotrain with him and Scourge now appears to be helping Starscream voluntarily, Galvatron gets pissed that they allowed him to get away. While Scourge installs the Eyes in Unicron, Starscream exits Astrotrain just as he enters Cybertron's Airspace, to allow the Autobots to dispose of him. On Cybertron, Rodimus Prime and Ultra Magnus try to figure out why Scourge and Starscream's Ghost took Metroplex's Eyes and blew him up, when Blurr and Springer pick up Astrotrain coming in. We see Wheely in the corner of the room. Not sure how many Decepticons may be inside, Protectobots HotSpot and one I can't identify open fire and shoot Astrotrain down. TASK TWO. Now able to see again, Unicron orders Starscream to bring the Decepticon City Trypticon to him. Scourge gets a little annoyed because they were just there. Seeing the new Eyes in Unicron in orbit, the Autobots realize where Metroplex's Eyes went. Sky Lynx takes Ultra Magnus, Springer, Hotspot and the other Protectobot to Unicron, but his defense systems fry them, forcing them to exit, while outside Scourge takes some shots at Sky Lynx, forcing him to leave. With the Autobots gone again, Scourge suggests it would be dangerous for him when they return, suggesting he should leave. Unicron reminds him that what he once gave Scourge, he can also take away. Galvatron, pissed that the 2 Jets and 2 Cars allowed Starscream to leave with Astrotrain and Trypticon's Eye, orders the Decepticons (including Predacon DiveBomb) to hunt them down and blast them. They flee into Trypticon. Galvatron, confused as hell about why Starscream is doing this, gets more irate when Trypticon begins transforming into Dinosaur Mode without authorization, with Starscream's Ghost at the controls. "I'm just borrowing him for a little while. Don't worry about a thing." - Starscream Starscream, with Trypticon, takes off back to Unicron. Galvatron orders the others to pursue. "The Head of Unicron has drawn the Decepticons into our midst. Trypticon has been sighted leading a squad of them towards Cybertron." - Rodimus Prime Starscream's Ghost arrives with Trypticon, wanting to know what the third (and final) task is. Unicron tells him the second task is not yet complete and has Scourge remove Trypticon's transformation Cog and place it into Unicron's Head, while Starscream uses Trypticon to fight off the approaching Decepticons. The fight between them baffles the Autobots, and drains the Decepticon's weapons. TASK THREE. "Connect my Head to the planet Cybertron. I will then have a new body. I will be complete again. Able to devour ALL worlds in my path." - Unicron
Now too big for him to handle, Scourge takes off back to the Decepticons. But with their weapons drained, they are unable to do anything. Scourge goes to the Autobots and explains what Unicron is attempting to do. Starscream uses Trypticon to push Unicron's Head to Cybertron to make the external connections. Ultra Magnus gets the idea to plant explosives at the connection point.
Still inside Trypticon, Runabout, Runamuck, Thundercracker and Thrust do some damage that causes Starscream to lose control of Trypticon, to stop him from making the connection.
"Unicron. If you want the connection made, you better give me a new body now." - Starscream
Unicron blasts Starscream with an energy beam, making his body solid and alive again.
"Now do my bidding. Complete the connection." - Unicron
"Do it yourself." - Starscream
The Autobots plant and detonate the explosives, sending Unicron's head back into orbit, and sending Starscream hurdling through space.
The Autobots, now including Arcee, cheer at the victory.
Looking back at the explosion on Cybertron to see what it was, Galvatron sees Starscream hurdling through space, and starts blasting him, making Cyclonus wonder since when do Ghosts tumble out of control through space.
The Autobots let Scourge and Astrotrain go, and decide they would have to rebuild all new eyes for Metroplex, since the explosion probably damaged Unicron's beyond repair.
Probably.
THE END
OVER VIEW:
This is one of those episodes of a Television Series that you don't get tired of watching over and over.
The second appearance of Starscream's Ghost after he passed away, this episode was a vast improvement from Starscream's First appearance in "Starscream's Ghost", which had a slow beginning as Starscream didn't return from the dead until it was 1/3 over. The majority of that episode that re-introduced Starscream was spent concluding Octane's story when Galvatron kicked him out as a Traitor for stealing Trypticon from an earlier adventure (Octane and Blitzwing should start a club). Keeping all of this in perspective shows how the stories were now continuing unlike its episodic predecessor, continuity which was rare for a "Cartoon".
Leave it to Starscream to be the awnry one who refuses to die. The conflict between Starscream and Megatron goes all the way back to Episode One. Even though Megatron is long gone and has since been reconfigured into Galvatron, it's nice to see the conflict between the two remains, but now on a much bigger level than before, now dealing with the bigger scope of life and death, and with the whole of space now at their disposal compared to their earth-bound adventures from 1983. This certainly isn't like the past where they used to have power struggles over which rock quarry to build the Space-Bridge. It was actually Galvatron who killed Starscream in the Movie, not Megatron, although Starscream knows full well who he's dealing with.
The ultimate villian gets a step ahead. The fact that Unicron now has working eyes to replace the destroyed ones places him in a better position for whatever his next evil deed would have been had the series progressed.
A brief scene between Spike and Bumblebee when Spike suggests it's just like old times instantly reminds the loyal viewers of how much things have changed throughout the years. More specifically, 20 years have passed between the "1980's" Transformers and the "Movie" Transformers, even though both were contained within the same television series. The "1980's" version ended production in 1985 and the new "Future" version of the Series was produced in 1986, like any series that never stopped production. Only the setting and time-frame changed (Similar to SeaQuest DSV changing into SeaQuest 2032).
After the major jump 20 years into the future (from 1986 to 2006), we've found many references to the long dead of the past in this new future version of the series. The first episodes that picked up after the Theatrical Movie saw the temporary- leaderless Decepticons missing the days of Megatron. A few episodes later the Autobots found the "Morgue Ship" where all the dead Autobots were buried after being killed in the Movie, such as Iron-Hide and Wheeljack. The same episode saw the return of Optimus Prime briefly as he was rebuilt by the Quintessons for their own purpose. The continuing appearances of Starscream's Ghost is another example, as his first appearance saw where many of the dead Decepticons were honored with statues. Another appearance by Alpha Trion as a younger version, and then the final resurrection of Optimus Prime again proves that the past isn't always over and may still catch up to you.
It's interesting that two of the Decepticons inside Trypticon who stopped Starscream from using him were two of the 1980's Jets, the same design as and former comrades of Starscream.
Both sides get screwed when they both sustain losses. Both the Autobot City Metroplex and the Decepticon City Trypticon get damaged. The only one who seem to have gotten ahead was Unicron by the obtainment of his new eyes, even though everyone assumes they were also destroyed.
Starscream gets his old body back. Had the
Series continued, we may have awaited the third (solid) appearance of
Starscream. But now that his goal of being alive again has been
achieved, would Starscream have gone back to his previous goal of
ruling the Decepticons? He would have been a fish out of water compared
to the newer space-age versions of his comrades. Starscream is a
product of 1983. The next season would have been 2007. If not ruling
the Decepticons, where would that have left him?
"You shall succeed where the other failed. He was matter. You are not. You are energy. He forgot who ruled him. You shall not." - Alien Scientist, referring to both his old and new creations
Meanwhile, Autobots and Decepticons engage in a massive battle on the moon. The Autobots are lead by Rodimus Prime, Springer and Ultra Magnus. Meanwhile, on Cybertron, Torkutron arrives and starts draining the planet of Energy. Kup goes to Red Alert as frantic Autobots run around in the background, including Jazz and Bumblebee. Wheely and two Aerobots are attacked by Torkutron who now took the form of a Spider.
Back at the battle on the moon, as three Sweeps head to the moon to join in the attack, a Mysterious Voice begins calling all of the "Primitives" - the "Animal" Transformers - beginning with the Dinobots (Grimlock, Slag, Sludge, Snarl, Swoop), distracting them from the fight.
Seeing that the Dinobots have stopped fighting, Galvatron, with Cyclonus and Scourge nearby, orders the Terrorcons (CutThroat, Blot, Hun-Gurrr, Sinnertwin and Rippersnapper) to mirge and form into Abominus. The Predacons (RazorClaw, Rampage, Tantrum and DiveBomb) can't mirge into PredaKing until they wait for HeadStrong to show up.
"I'll get there when I'm good and ready." - HeadStrong
Shortly afterward, both PredaKing and Abominus also hear the call of the Primitives, and stops fighting. Galvatron orders Typticon to attack since the other two weren't. Trypticon is intercepted by SkyLinx, but then both also receive the call "Both of you. Put down your hostilities. There are more important battles for each of you to fight." - Mysterious Voice
At which point Soudwave has a malfunction when his cassette tape holder opens on its own, and Rampage, RatBat, Slugfest and Overkill eject on their own. Blaster has the same problem when Ramhorn and Steeljaw eject on their own. "Me Grimlock must answer call. Even though Grimlock don't know who call, or where from." - Grimlock
All the Animal Transformers load up in Trypticon, and SkyLinx leads them away into the direction the call came from. Shortly afterward, Torkutron arrives and drains dead both the Earth and the Moon of its energy, shutting down both the Autobots and Decepticons who were fighting on the moon. As SkyLinx tracks the signal waves to the center of the galaxy, inside Trypticon, things heat up among the primitives when Headstrong makes a smart-ass crack about Grimlock's intelligence. Naturally, chaos insues.
"Stupid Decepticon Rhino make fun of our leader." - Snarl
"Sludge no like Predacons. Let's stomp." - Sludge
"Predacons stomp Dinobots first." - Tantrum
They all begin fighting.
"Terrorcons fight everybody!" - Hung-Gurrr
Robots start flying.
At the suggestion of SkyLinx, Trypticon starts shaking his body around, knocking everyone all over inside, stopping them from fighting.
"Me Grimlock think maybe it better to fight later." - Grimlock When they arrive on the planet and exit Trypticon, they find nothing but rocks and desolation on the old planet's surface."If Grimlock knew calling was from place like this, would not have answered." - GrimlockFighting almost begins again when SkyLinx suggests he propose a battle plan.
"Only RazorClaw commands the Predacons." - Razorclaw"You command Terrorcons over my rusting carcus." - Hun-GurrrBut then a Gorilla Creature shows up briefly, causing the aurguments to stop. Searching for the Gorilla Creature, they all wind up in a cave, where they find the Caller - a White Glow.
The White Glow explains that long ago, Primacon built some of the Primitives, but as his creatures grew, so did his ambitions, until he built Unicron. When Unicron rebelled, he left everything in ruins, and that's when the Caller, who was the Primacon's assistant, escaped to this dead world. Then Primacon created Torkutron. He called the Primitives here, hoping they can stop Primacon.
[Though it is not explained how or why, we see the Caller in Flashback as looking exactly like the Autobot Matrix of Leadership that Optimus Prime, and now Rodimus Prime now holds within them.]Outside the cave, Torkutron arrives in the form of an energy Dragon, and attacks Trypticon, draining his energy and causing him to fall on Grimlock, leading the others to believe Grimlock was killed. To take the Transformers on individually, Torkutron divides into four different creatures and splits up. After SkyLinx is drained of his energy, the Predacons wonder who will lead them now (finally admitting SkyLinx knew what to do and should have been leading).
One of the energy creatures forms into a Tiger, who easily takes out all the cassettes, including Ramhorn, Steeljaw, RatBat and Ravage. Deciding to go out fighting, the Predacons mirge into PredaKing to fight another creature - a horned Robot. They lose. In another action sequence, the third energy creature, a three-headed snake, takes down all five of the Terrorcons. The final creature, another Dragon, is battled by the Dinobots who also lose and are drained of their energy. Now no one is left.
Underneath Trypticon, Grimlock blasts himself out.
"Good thing Grimlock has hard head, otherwise would now be dino-splatter." - GrimlockSeeing Torkutron leave the planet, Grimlock follows him back to Primacon's base. When Torkutron turns against Primacon, Grimlock arrives.
"Grimlock here to save Universe!" - GrimlockLong story made short: after a brief conversation and realising Torkutron will kill them all, Grimlock flips the reverse switch and Torkutron disperses, returning power to everything Torkutron drained. As he's dancing around celebrating the fact that he just saved the Universe, Grimlock ends up ruining Primacon's Lab.THE END.
OVER VIEW: This episode contains many impressive well detailed battle scenes, using more frames then usual, with a few occasional hints in the designs of the original Japanese "Anime" its sister series in their homeland may contain. This is because it was produced by a different animation studio than most other episodes were.Plus some great fun watching what happens when all the "stupid" Transformers are left on their own without supervision and placed together in a contained space (inside Typticon), virtually always resulting in egos, arguments and fights among themselves involving missiles.
There's some compassion for the enemy when SkyLinx falls, and the Decepticon Predacons question how they will survive without the Autobot to lead them.
The Mysterious Caller being shown in the Flashbacks to resemble the Autobot Matrix of Leadership implies that the Matrix may once have been an entity on its own, and just "ended up" becoming the Matrix through time. It also clearly shows that there is more than one, and therefore unintentionally implies to the viewers that there may be others.
The origin of Unicron is revealed.
Transformers: Headmasters
1. Four Warriors Come Out of the Sky
The first episode recalls the Cybertrons and Destrons leaving Seibertron for new resources and Megatron being replaced by Galvatron. Under the leadership of Rodimus Convoy (Rodimus Prime), the Cybertrons have finally driven off the Destrons and have brought peace to their home. The leadership is passed back from Rodimus Convoy to Convoy (Optimus Prime) and both worlds are at peace. Suddenly, the space bridge reactivates and Galvatron, along with his new set of Destron warriors - Skull (Skullcruncher), Wipe (Mindwipe) and Weirdwolf - launch a new campaign of terror. Grimlock and the Technobots head out to stop the Destrons, while on Earth, Convoy receives word of the Destron attack. Sixshot leads his brigade against the Cybertrons and Ultra Magnus. Meanwhile, Daniel and Wheelie run into Dinosaurer (Trypticon), but manage to trick him into crossing a flimsy bridge and falling down into the river below. As Sixshot and Ultra Magnus duel, the Trainbots suddenly arrive and the Cybertrons head back toward base. The Constructicons attack the Trainbots but suddenly Metroplex appears. On Seibertron, the battle rages, devastating the planet until Hot Rodimus, Cha (Kup) and Blurr pick out a gigantic spaceship in the distance. Wipe manages to put a large portion of the Cybertron army to sleep, when four robots appear from the gigantic spaceship, confronting the Destrons.
2. The Mystery of Planet Master
The four robots who mysteriously appear do battle with the Destrons, who happen to be Headmasters as well. Wipe tries to put Brainstorm to sleep, but a blast from Chromedome saves him. Convoy is in serious jeopardy from Galvatron until Hot Rod appears and saves him. A fierce battle rages between the Cybertron and Destron gestalts, until Fortress' ship shows up and sends the Destrons running. Fortress (Cerebros) appears from inside the base and Cha recognizes him as an old friend. Fortress then explains to the Cybertrons the origins of the Headmasters -- how they had created the bodies for themselves on the planet Master. Meanwhile, Convoy heads toward Vector Sigma when he suddenly is aided by the appearance of the ghost of Alpha Trion. Blaster gives Wheelie a tape of his for some unknown reason as he heads back to Earth with Hot Rodimus and Ultra Magnus. As they enter the base, Blaster spots Ratbat and sends Steeljaw after him. It turns into a tape free-for-all as Soundwave appears. At the Destron earth headquarters, Sixshot sends the Stunticons to take out the Aerialbots as Hot Rodimus and Blaster search for the Destron base. Suddenly, the Predacons appear out of nowhere and attack, but are prevented from merging by Hot Rodimus crashing into them. Menasor appears to take care of Hot Rodimus, but then Superion shows up to stop him. Soundwave then shows up, and engages in a battle to the death with Blaster. The Destron tapes are seen carrying away Soundwave's parts while Wheelie plays Blaster's tape, which turns out to be some beautiful music that he had been working on.
3. Birth of Double Convoy!
Hot Rodimus and the Headmasters arrive at an abandoned city, while Galvatron and the Destron Headmasters return to their base. Galvatron sends the Combaticons out to attack the Cybertrons while Ultra Magnus counters with the Protectobots. Guardian (Defensor) is able to collapse the side of a mountain on top of Bruticus. Abominus appears to battle the Headmasters when the Technobots show up and merge into Computicon. Meanwhile, Hot Rodimus has gone on his own to look for the matrix, which he manages to uncover, when Galvatron and the Destron Headmasters show up. They force him to drop the matrix and while Wipe tries to hypnotize Hot Rodimus, Galvatron heads to pick up the matrix when Chromedome and Co. appear to save him. Hot Rodimus takes the matrix and boards the Trainbots to head for Seibertron. Fortress heads underground to look for Optimus Prime, who has managed to reach Vector Sigma's chamber, where Cyclonus and Scourge hide in waiting. They double-team Convoy until Fortress shows up to help, then Hot Rodimus appears with the Headmasters. Galvatron and the Destron Headmasters show up and they fight until Alpha Trion starts to spin into a ball of energy and Hot Rodimus holds up the matrix, becoming Rodimus Convoy (Rodimus Prime). He and Convoy then proceed to clean out the Destrons with a nice assist from Fortress. Convoy then becomes one with Vector Sigma and dies yet again.
4. Operation: Cassette
The Destrons manage to put back together Soundwave after his struggle with Blaster. Back on Earth, Sixshot sends Dinosaurer heading toward an energy plant in his battle station mode while Metroplex moves to intercept. They battle when a strange creature suddenly appears from out of the ground and incapacitates Metroplex with a blast. Ultra Magnus reports this to Rodimus Convoy back on Seibertron and he sends out the Cybertron cassettes, still upset about Blaster's destruction, to figure out what's the matter. Rodimus Convoy announces that the Cybertrons are going to work on repairing Blaster, who is reborn as Twincast, in a different color scheme. As Superion battles Bruticus, Twincast and the cassettes sneak into Dinosaurer. The Destron Headmasters take a creature with them to Seibertron and attack the Cybertron Headmasters, while the creature incapacitates the Throttlebots. Twincast figures out the secret behind the creature and sneaks aboard the spacebridge to head to Seibertron to stop Soundblaster, who is controlling the creature. He manages to accomplish this by blasting a tape controller out of Soundblaster, then the Cybertron Headmasters destroy the creature.
5. Rebellion on Planet Beast
The Headmasters, flying around in Fortress Maximus in space, pick up a couple creatures wearing exo-suits who are badly injured. They take them inside and work on them, while hearing their story. Apparently, there are aliens from the planet Beast, a place where the inhabitants resemble humanoid animals. Their planet has come under attack from the Destrons and they were barely able to escape with their lives. They request the help of the Cybertrons in removing the Destrons from their home. While the Headmasters plan their strategy, Wheelie and Daniel befriend a small Battle Beast, who leads them to the enemy's base, where they both get captured. Rodimus Convoy, having heard of the situation, arrives with the Trainbots and the Monsterbots. The Headmasters try to save Daniel and Wheelie, but are confronted by the Destron Headmasters. Rodimus Convoy squares off against Galvatron, with Cyclonus lending an unwilling hand. Inside the base, Wheelie and Daniel are freed by their little friend and manage to free all the slaves. The Destrons are sent running by Fortress Maximus and Rodimus Convoy leaves the Monsterbots on the planet to maintain the peace.
6. Approach of the Demon Meteorite
The Aerialbots, patrolling in outer space, pick up a large meteorite, which possesses some strange powers, heading toward the Earth. The Technobots, patrolling the desert area, come under attack from Cyclonus and the Terrorcons. In outer space, Fortress fires Fortress Maximus' guns at the meteorite but it has no effect on it. On Earth, Galvatron and the Destron Headmasters meet up with the Sweeps, before the Throttlebots intervene. The Headmasters and Technobots then show up, challenging the Destrons. The Throttlebots try to intercept the meteorite, but it ends up gravitizing them and their ship. The Headmasters head out into space again where they encounter the Destron Headmasters and Galvatron. Daniel is able to actually land on the meteorite since he is not made out of metal though, and he finds out that it is actually a spaceship. He manages to disable its controls and to blow it up, much to Galvatron's chagrin.
7. The Four-Million-Year-Old Veil of Mystery
A shadowy figure approaches Galvatron with a plan to defeat the Cybertrons once and for all. At the Cybertron base, Arcee receives word that Praun, one of Cybertron's front-line defenses has come under Destron attack. Fortress and the Headmasters go to investigate, but find only dead bodies there. Rodimus Convoy and Ultra Magnus arrive to inspect the damage, finding more dead bodies around and some files missing. Rodimus Convoy uses the Trainbots to head into space toward Praun. Meanwhile, Fortress and the Headmasters get trapped inside a revolving fortress and buried in the sand, while the Destron Headmasters laugh outside. The Headmasters must recall the training they received in the deserts of Master four million years ago in order to survive. They switch heads and manage to escape, then confront the Destron Headmasters. Galvatron shows up on Astrotrain, but Rodimus arrives with the Trainbots and the Cybertrons throw the Destrons into the sand.
8. Terror of the Six Shadows
At the Cybertron base, the transmission of a rock concert is interrupted by shadowy figure who threatens to destroy cities unless his demands are met. In New York, the Headmasters collect the transmission and find that it is a different figure who made the threat there. In all, there are six different figures making the same threats in six different locations. In the forests of Great Britain, a ferocious winged wolf attacks; the Headmasters and Metroplex head there to investigate, but are too late. In another city, a laser gun flies around, destroying many buildings, but once again the Headmasters are too late. Daniel returns from gift-shopping with the Trainbots, causing the Headmasters to yell at the Trainbots for not helping. Daniel gets upset, as he had asked the Trainbots to help him pick out a present for his father, and rushes out of the room. The Headmasters then apologize and see Daniel playing with a ninja star. Chromedome recalls a time when his best friend was killed by a ninja robot who could adopt six different shapes. The robot form of Sixshot suddenly appears in Japan, and Rodimus sends the Trainbots to take care of him, while Cyclonus and Scourge take Dinosaurer. The Trainbots merge into Raiden and start to beat up Sixshot, when Dinosaurer suddenly appears. The Headmasters then appear and help to defeat the Destrons and Sixshot.
9. Seibertron is in Grave Danger, part one
On Seibertron, once again at peace thanks to Vector Sigma, a new compound has been created called Seibertonuron which is many times stronger than Seibertonium. The Destron cassettes find out about it and Soundblaster reports to Galvatron, telling him that the new compound allow him to defeat the Cybertrons. Meanwhile, back on Earth, the Headmasters are working out to keep up their conditioning. Galvatron sends the Predacons to retrieve the compound while the rest of the Destrons head to their new base. The Destron Headmasters and Sixshot meet with the shadowy Scorponok to discuss their next moves while the Cybertron Headmasters arrive at the Destron base. The Combaticons, Stunticons and Destron Headmasters then arrive on Seibertron with Galvatron and wreck havoc on the planet. Fortress and the Headmasters then head to Seibertron with Rodimus, Cha, Blurr and Arcee. They manage to drive back the Destrons - Guardian b eating Bruticus, Superi on beating the Stunticons , and the Cybertro n Headmasters taking out the Destrons - but Galvatron incurs major damage to Rodimus. Scorpono k, fearful that Galvatron will be able to gain the new compound and become too powerful, orders his Headmasters to plant some bombs to blow up Seibertron.
10. Seibertron is in Grave Danger, part two
The Predacons are confronted by the Trainbots as Guardian knocks out Bruticus. The Cybertrons continue to plan a way to stop Galvatron from getting his hands on the new compound as Chromedome spots Weirdwolf and Wipe. He notices that they've been heading deep into Seibertron and tries to figure out what they are up to, sending out a telepathic message to the other Headmasters. They arrive, attacking Weirdwolf and Skull, as Chromedome heads underground to stop Wipe. On the surface, the battle still rages on, destroying more and more of the planet. Wipe manages to find Vector Sigma's chamber and he sets the bombs on it, just as Chromedome arrives. The Cybertrons cannot remove the bomb, so they flee the planet after some long, hard farewells. Galvatron arrives in Vector Sigma's chamber just as the bombs go off and is caught in the explosion. Rodimus, Cha and Blurr then depart in search of a new home for the Cybertrons, leaving Fortress in charge.
11. Scorponok, the Shadow Emperor
Arcee, Daniel and Wheelie stare off into the sunset, recalling how their home had been destroyed by the Destrons. Fortress and Spike decide to have a little party to raise the Cybertrons' spirits. Hardhead does a karaoke thing, Wheelie passes out from overenergizing and Chromedome and Arcee dance. Back at the Destron camp, Galvatron, who has not been seen since the explosion is presumed dead by Soundblaster, Sixshot and the Headmasters. Suddenly, a figure appears and the Destrons think it is Galvatron, but instead it is Scorponok, who tells them that Galvatron is still alive. The Cybertrons continue to work on a rocket ship which will launch a new solar satellite but Ratbat is spotted spying on them. Cyclonus and Scourge send out Predaking to stop the launching of the rocket, prompting the Trainbots to merge into Raiden to stop them, along with the Headmasters. The launch is a success, causing the Destron Headmasters to head into space to destroy the satellite. As the Cybertrons get ready to go after them, Sixshot attacks, delaying them, and seriously injuring Chromedome. He gets up and they head into space, where the Destron Headmasters lie in ambush. They have directed the satellite to direct the solar energy into a planet in a black nebula.
12. The Dormant Volcano Mysteriously Erupts
Information provided by Brandon Lusk and Mardhen Bravo
While Ultra Magnus and Scattershot are investigating some strange seismic activity in Peru, the Cybertron Headmasters send Steeljaw and Ramhorn to find out what's inside the black nebula (from the last episode). Inside the nebula is a planet where enslaved Battle Beasts are used by Scorponok to build a massive construct. In the Andes, a dormant volcano suddenly erupts, and the Protectobots and Trainbots are sent to rescue the people living nearby. They are confronted by the Predacons and the Destron Headmasters. The other Cybertrons use Broadsides to fly to Earth, drive off Predaking, and the Trainbots evacuate the humans. In the nebula, Scorponok explains that the volcano exploded so the Destrons can tap its energies while Ramhorn and Steeljaw secretly listen. On Earth, the Destrons make one last attempt to take the villagers hostage, but they are thwarted by the Cybertrons. Back on Charr, Scorponok reveals part of his plans to Cyclonus and Scourge; Ramhorn and Steeljaw record the information, and forward it to the other Cybertrons.
13. Head On, Fortress Maximus
In the city of San Francisco, a giant man-eating plant suddenly springs from underground, causing mass hysteria and major damage. In response, Ultra Magnus sends out the Technobots, Aerialbots and Trainbots to assist, but they are met by Bruticus, who battles Raiden. Ultra Magnus contacts Fortress and the Cybertron Headmasters, who then head toward San Francisco. They get beaten up by the plant, mocked by the Destron Headmasters, then another plant shows up, as well as another at the Witwickys'. Menasor then battles Computron, while Bruticus takes on the Aerialbots. One plant monster is actually able to walk, and it attacks the Cybertrons' earth base while the other attacks Fortress' battle station. Fortress then uncovers his sword of power and the base suddenly transforms into a giant robot, Fortress Maximus! He manages to destroy the plant monster, causing the others to blow up.
14. Explosion on Mars!! Maximus is in Danger
The Destrons plan to blow up Mars by causing explosions at its northern and southern end. Meanwhile, on the planet, Spike, Daniel, Wheelie and the Trainbots are conducting a geological survey when they detect some major seismic activity at the southern pole. Sixshot sends Dinosaurer to attack Metroplex, as he goes after the Technobots. Ultra Magnus transforms Metroplex and he battles Dinosaurer while on Mars, the Destrons attack the survey team. The Cybertron Headmasters then arrive to battle the Predacons, while the Terrorcons ambush the others, kidnapping Daniel, Wheelie and Getsue. They imprison them and tell them of the Destron plan to destroy Mars, sending meteors to destroy earth. Daniel, Wheelie and Getsue manage to escape, sending word to Fortress Maximus who heads to Mars to investigate. The Destron Headmasters attack Chromedome and the others, while Scorponok works on a plan to destroy Fortress Maximus. The Cybertron Headmasters are caught in a trap and seriously hurt, forcing Fortress to transform Fortress Maximus.
15. Explosion on Mars!! Megazarak Appears
As Fortress attempts to transform Fortress Maximus, he gets hit by a plasma blast and loses his super energy needed to transform. Spike figures out that the Destrons have found a way to tap the plasma energy from Seibertron's explosion in order to neutralize Fortress. The Terrorcons continue with Scorponok's plan to blow up Mars by drilling up the poles while Hardhead and Chromedome detect the Destron Headmasters and head out to investigate. Fortress, watching his forces lose, order the Trainbots to head out toward Mars to help. Raiden arrives just in time to help the Headmasters, but suddenly Scorponok orders the Destrons to return. Ultra Magnus sends Twincast and his cassettes to spy on the Destrons, and they see Sixshot using the spacebridge to head to the Destron base on Jollo. There, they witness the destruction of the planet within the Black Nebula and the creation of Scorponok's new battle station - Megazarak, which then heads to destroy Fortress Maximus on Mars. Chromedome and Hardhead manage to find a bomb, but before they can defuse it, Megazarak appears and beats the stuffing out of all of them. It transforms into a giant robot and starts to beat up on Fortress Maximus, when he receives news that the bombs are ready to go off. The Cybertron Headmasters try to get Fortress to leave, but he refuses to abandon his battle station. Suddenly, they notice that the plasma from the destruction of Mars is actually powering up Fortress Maximus and they escape.
16. The Return of the Immortal Emperor
Thanks to Megazarak, Mars has now been destroyed and the Cybertron Headmasters are quite angry about the entire incident. Meanwhile, Daniel and Wheelie, who are goofing around, spot a strange light in the sky which buzzes past them. Chromedome and Hardhead sneak out of Fortress Maximus and head toward the Destron base. Meanwhile, Scorponok organizes a strike force and sends out Skull, Weirdwolf and Blitzwing to hand the Cybertrons. Fortress and the others arrive on the scene, saving the pair as Soundwave holds a meeting with his cassettes. Megazarak attacks Fortress Maximus, and is beating up on him when the strange UFO flies past, distracting Megazarak long enough for Fortress Maximus to escape, then taking away Sixshot. Punch reports to Fortress about the Destrons' plan to coronate Scorponok as the Destron Emperor, and during the ceremony, the Cybertrons attack. Suddenly, the glowing object appears again, revealing itself to be a spaceship; out from it step Sixshot, then the presumed-dead Galvatron. The Destrons overwhelm the Cybertrons, forcing them to retreat, while Galvatron reclaims his throne as Emperor, much to Scorponok's dismay.
17. SOS from Planet Sandra
At the Destron base, Cyclonus and Scourge pick up an SOS from the planet Sandra and inform Galvatron. The Cybertrons receive the message as well, finding out that the planet's energy reserves are almost depleted. After a long debate, they decide to help out, bringing several energy packs with them, while Galvatron makes preparations to stop them. The Destrons attack, Galvatron confronting Ultra Magnus, and Abominus getting a boot to the head by Computicon. The Trainbots attempt to depart, but are stopped by Sixshot. In outer space, Fortress and the Headmasters face off against Scorponok and the Destron Headmasters as they head toward Sandra. Fortress sends Spike, Wheelie and Daniel, along with the small robot forms of Chromedome and Hardhead, to Planet Sandra with the energy packs, while he holds off Megazarak. The leader of Sandra tells Spike that they thought that they would never run out of energy until it was too late. They present the people of Sandra with the energy as Fortress Maximus and Scorponok continue their fight on the planet's surface. Chromedome and Hardhead manage to plant a couple bombs on Scorponok, incapacitating him, while the Cybertrons attack Galvatron, defeating the Destrons.
18. The Most Important Thing in the World
The Destron base on Charr is suddenly upset when two newcomers arrive, and the Destrons attack them, thinking they are Cybertrons. They are jets which possess the ability to transform into animals, then to robots -- Horrorcons Apeface and Snapdragon -- who have been asked by Galvatron to join his troops. The Cybertrons learn of the appearance of these two, and Spike, worried about the diminishing chances of ending the war, decides to seek out a peace agreement with the Destrons before the galaxy is destroyed, despite the Cybertrons' concerns. Galvatron receives word of Spike's offer of peace, and Scorponok and Soundwave plan a trap, replying to Spike that he has to go with his entire family to meet in Shangri-La. Galvatron and Spike begin their meetings while Carly and Daniel are forced to remain with the Horrorcons, with the Cybertron Headmasters remaining outside. Galvatron asks Spike for a token of trust - leaving Daniel with the Destrons. Doublespy (Punch/Counterpunch) discovers Galvatron at the Destron base instead of Earth and reports Galvatron's orders to steal energy throughout the universe to the Cybertrons. The Headmasters mobilize to rescue the humans when they find out Galvatron is a fake. Galvatron then reveals himself to be Sixshot, leading to a fierce battle outside. The Cybertrons beat up on the Destrons, who escape through the space bridge. They try to follow, but Sixshot blows up the space bridge.
19. Battle to the Death on the Beehive Planet
Galvatron has continued his search for more energy in deep space, and finds some on a planet called Hive. The Cybertrons are nearby, having followed the Destrons, and come across the ruins of the spaceship that has been destroyed by Megazarak. Chromedome finds a survivor who tells them about the planet, which is ruled by a queen, who resides over the area where the energy is stored. The Destrons begin their assault as the survivor asks Chromedome to give a pendant to his son, Michael. The Destron Headmasters, left behind by Galvatron, are told by Scorponok to bide their time before they overthrow Galvatron. The Cybertrons approach Hive, but are thought to be allies of the Destrons. The Hive attack Fortress Maximus, as Chromedome, Hardhead and Brainstorm try to convince them otherwise, but to no avail. Chromedome decides to go to the planet by himself and there he finds Michael, giving him the pendant. He tells his story to the queen as the Destrons manage to get past the Hive defenses. The queen resists Galvatron's attempts to get the energy, then Chromedome appears and battles the Horrorcons, defeating them. Galvatron and Sixshot knock Chromedome into the sea of power as the queen requests help from the Cybertrons. The Destrons start to beat up the Cybertrons as Chromedome escapes from the sea with Michael's help, doubling in power. They drive off the Destrons as Fortress Maximus defeats Megazarak.
20. Tide-turning Battle on the False Planet
Galvatron leads the Destrons toward the twin planets of Sperity and Toluin, intent on draining their energy. Meanwhile, the Cybertrons continue their pursuit of Megazarak across the galaxy, and notice them moving toward Sperity. Suddenly, the Destrons come under attack, but it does little-to-no damage to Megazarak. The Destrons mobilize and scour the planet's surface looking for energy, but then Fortress Maximus arrives, attacking Megazarak. Brainstorm, Arcee, Wheelie and Daniel arrive on Toluin's surface, finding nothing but a small cave. Meanwhile, the battle continues on Sperity between the Destrons and the Cybertrons. The inhabitants have apparently moved everything to Toluin's underground, using Sperity as a place to trap their enemies. Brainstorm and the others find the secret domed city of the inhabitants, then infiltrate it before getting captured. Brainstorm heads back to Sperity, where he tells Fortress, after a series of head switches, that Sperity is really a trap. The Cybertrons leave, and the Destrons are caught in the trap for once, finding fake cubes which causes Toluin to move away from Sperity.
21. Find Megazarak's Weak Spot
The Cybertrons pick up an SOS from the exile planet Dallos and head there to investigate. The Headmasters move out to figure out what's going on, finding that the Destrons have attacked an energy plant. They take the people back to Fortress Maximus, where one grabs Daniel as hostage, threatening him with a knife. Daniel manages to break free, blasting one of the men, before Fortress captured the others in a forcefield. The Cybertrons learn that the planet is controlled by a small group in the southern hemisphere and that the people are suffering greatly. They find that the Destrons have been building something on the planet while being in cahoots with the leaders. The Destrons find that the Cybertrons have arrived and mobilize to attack them. Meanwhile, Chromedome and Highbrow head into a canyon to find a Battle Beast who happened to b e part of the team who built Megazarak. He starts to tell them of Megazarak's weakness, but Weirdwolf blasts him in the back, eventually killing him, but not before he gives them a chip. The Headmasters fire a huge cannon at Megazarak, prompting him to transform into robot mode, then Fortress transforms Fortress Maximus, defeating Megazarak and restoring peace to the planet.
22. Head Formation of Friendship
The Cybertron He admasters continue their search f or the Destrons, but are interrupted by an alarm, indicating a problem with Fortress Maximus' guns. Meanwhile the Destrons head toward Gal vatron's latest ta r get, the planet Paradise, a non-technological world where the inhabitants still live in huts. As Brainstorm continues to figure out Megazarak's weakness, Highbrow takes the Trainbots to visit the planet Paradise. He meets up with a native girl, Papika and her giant eagle and she tells him about the Destrons attacking the planet. The Cybertrons then arrive on the planet, as Highbrow makes his way toward the Destron camp, where he is trapped by Destron Headmasters. Steeljaw notices this and informs the rest of the team but before they can help, the forest suddenly becomes ablaze from enemy fire. As the Cybertrons battle the Destrons, Papika and the Headmasters free Highbrow from his chains. The Cybertrons manage to defeat the Destrons, then destroy their collected energon cubes, sending Megazarak running.
23. Mystery of the Space Pirate Ship
The Destron clones, Pounce and Wingspan, confront the Cybertron clones, Fastlane and Cloudraker for possession of their half of a skull which will lead to a fabulous energy source. Suddenly, Sixshot shows up along with Galvatron to drive away the Cybertrons. Cloudraker radioed Fortress about the arrival of the Destrons on the pirate planet. The Cybertrons run into a space burial ground, where they find a space pirate ship in which the skull is emitting a radio signal. With the help of the Horrorcons, Pounce and Wingspan get the other half of the skull. The Destrons put the skull together and get a map toward the location of the pirates' stolen proton energy. Apparently, the clones used to be friends but Galvatron then recruited Pounce and Wingspan. Twincast finds out the location of the stolen energy and the Cybertrons mobilize to stop the Destrons. Chromedome manages to recover the skull, and Highbrow manages to decode the map, finding a pyramid and a trap door. Twincast rescues Highbrow after the Destrons attack and he figures out how to open the door - using the frequency given out by the skull on the pirate ship in space. He and the Trainbots retrieve the skull, while the others attack the Destrons. The Destron clones corner Highbrow and Daniel, but they are knocked out by the Cybertron clones. Fortress Maximus, with the help of the Headmasters, drives off Megazarak.
24. The Death of Ultra Magnus
One night, at the Cybertron earth base, the Destron Headmasters attack and take over the outpost. The Cybertrons have regrouped back on Cygnia and try to determine Galvatron's next move after he collects all these power packs. Galvatron then divulges his next move to the other Destrons - using his stolen energy to conquer the earth. At the same time, Scorponok reveals his plans to overthrow Galvatron to Weirdwolf, telling him to find the Cybertrons' energy sources. Sixshot then leads an assault on an energy source in Miami, prompting Ultra Magnus to send the Trainbots and Technobots. Fortress sends out Doublespy to discover Galvatron's plans as Brainstorm reports on Sixshot's movements on Earth. The Destron assault on Earth continues under Sixshot, who attacks Metroplex and Ultra Magnus. Metroplex tries to help Ultra Magnus but runs into Dinosaurer as the Trainbots arrive. They radio for assistance and the Cybertron Headmasters head to Earth. Sixshot, who has been beating up on Ultra Magnus, reveals his secret Wingwolf mode and kills Ultra Magnus. Megazarak arrives on Earth on Galvatron's request and receives word from Weirdwolf on the energy he found. The Headmasters arrive and manage to drive away Sixshot before burying Ultra Magnus in the river.
25. The Emperor of Destruction Vanishes on an Iceberg
Sixshot continues to organize the Destron troops on Earth, sending out Bruticus, Menasor, Abominus, and the Horrorcons to assault the planet. Meanwhile, at Fortress Maximus, the Cybertrons study the Destron activity throughout the world, and Fortress orders the cassettes to figure out what's going on. The Cybertrons mobilize their forces, sending out Computron and Defensor. Galvatron continues to monitor activities on Jollo and Doublespy reports back to Fortress the activities and plans of the Destron leader. Twincast and Steeljaw manage to find Megazarak in a canyon, but they are discovered by Sixshot. Twincast sends Steeljaw back to report, before he gets knocked into the canyon. Punch continues his spying for the Cybertrons, seeing Galvatron's plans to make Earth his new body. Galvatron has decided to have it out with Scorponok, sending Sixshot to stop him and the other Destron Headmasters. The Cybertrons launch an assault to stop Galvatron from taking over the earth, sending Metroplex, Fortress Maximus and company to the canyon. Steeljaw manages to revive Twincast, as the Cybertron Headmasters battle Galvatron in the Arctic. Hardhead knocks Galvatron into the ocean, then the Headmasters form a ring, blasting an iceberg on top of Galvatron, burying him forever.
26. I Risk My Life for Earth
With Galvatron finally destroyed in the Antarctic, Scorponok took over as Destron emperor, pledging to avenge Galvatron's death. Scorponok sends Sixshot to destroy the Cybertron earth base, while Spike heads back to Earth for a summit meeting regarding the Ring of Fire from the north of Alaska to the South Pole. Spike notices that the Destrons have been attacking this area recently, looking for the thinnest layer of the crust. Dinosaurer shows up at the summit, attacking the Cybertrons before Metroplex shows up. Sixshot then confronts Chromedome, who recalls Ultra Magnus' death. Spike, trying to help Metroplex, gets seriously hurt. Wheelie then attacks Chromedome, saying that it was all his fault that Spike had a piece of metal imbedded in his nerve. The Destrons attack on Earth again, but Fortress tells Chromedome to stay behind until he gets control of his emotions. Without Chromedome, the Headmasters and Raiden get beaten up by the Destrons and Predaking. Fortress uses his superpower to save Spike, removing the chunk of metal, while severely weakening himself. Chromedome, determined to make up for his mistakes, tries to figure out Megazarak's weakness since Fortress Maximus cannot transform. He finds it in the center of Megazarak's chest where his power is centralized. Megazarak throws Fortress Maximus into a river of lava, but it ends up re-energizing him enough to transform. Chromedome arrives on earth and informs Fortress of Megazarak's weakness.
27. The Miracle Warriors - The Targetmasters, part one
After the defeat, the Destrons depart Earth, heading into deep space, but the Cybertrons realize that there are still some remnants of bombs around. The Cybertron Headmasters are deployed in pairs to disarm them, while the cassettes continue their investigation. Fortress sends out Spike, Daniel, Wheelie and Arcee to head the reconstruction project for earth. Chromedome and Hardhead discover five bombs, accidentally setting off one. Suddenly, three friends of Wheelie arrive on earth - Pointblank, Sureshot and Crosshairs - to meet with the Cybertron commander. Chromedome and Hardhead continue to make their way out, carrying the bombs, when they are confronted by an avalanche. Fortunately, they are rescued by the others and transport the bombs into outer space to defuse out there. Pointblank, Sureshot and Crosshairs volunteer to take the bombs out, slightly insulting the Headmasters. Spike orders Guardian, Computicon and Raiden to destroy the old Destron base back on Earth. Just as the bombs are ready to be defused, the Cybertrons receive an SOS from some refugees from Master who have been attacked by the Destrons - Slugslinger, Misfire, Triggerhappy and Sixshot. The refugees report that the Destrons have attacked Master. The refugees decide to remove the explosives for the Cybertrons while the battle rages outside. Suddenly, the explosives go off.
28. The Miracle Warriors - The Targetmasters, part two
In the aftermath of the explosion, the Destrons disappeared and Chromedome return Pointblank, Sureshot and Crosshairs back to Fortress Maximus. The blast fused the small robots who removed the bombs to the trio's hands, giving rise to the first Targetmasters. The Cybertrons head to Master to remove the Destrons, who have also tapped into the Targetmaster technology. The tension between the Cybertron Headmasters and Targetmasters continues to escalate as Pointblank calls Chromedome immature. The Cybertrons arrive and start to kick the Destrons' tails, forcing them to retreat. Chromedome is reunited with his old friend Sappho, who seems a little distant, and they catch up a bit. The Destrons start the second part of the plan as Sixshot impersonates Chromedome and kidnaps Sappho, trying to discover the Cybertrons' weak points. The Destrons, unable to find out anything, plant a time bomb inside Sappho and order him to walk into Fortress Maximus to explode inside. Sappho is released and heads toward the Cybertrons, when Pointblank realizes something is wrong. Twincast finds the bomb inside him and Chromedome is forced to kill his friend. The Destrons attack and Chromedome goes after Sixshot for revenge, growing up in the process.
29. The Master Sword is in Danger
The Destrons have holed up underneath the planet where they start the production of their new metal, called "G Metal" which has proved to be nearly invulnerable. Scorponok plans to use this metal to strengthen Megazarak's design, but he realizes that he still cannot hold up to Fortress Maximus' Master Sword. The Destrons hatch a plan to uncover the secrets of the Master Sword as they capture Wheelie, pulling him underground. Sixshot then demands the secrets of the Master Sword from Fortress in exchange for Wheelie's freedom. The Cybertrons discuss their options as Pointblank believes that if Fortress gives up the secrets, Scorponok will be able to destroy Fortress Maximus, while Daniel fears losing his friend. Much to Pointblank's chagrin, Fortress agrees to give Scorponok the secrets to the Master Sword, while Chromedome and Daniel decide to invade Megazarak to free Wheelie. Fortress meets with Sixshot to give him the secrets, while Wheelie is informed of a timer that will go off soon, dropping him into the lava. Daniel and Chromedome manage to free Wheelie, preventing Fortress from giving Sixshot the disk. Suddenly, a massive battle breaks out and the Cybertrons are winning until the Duocons show up, turning the tide. The disk gets knocked around, then retrieved by the Duocon Battletrap who returns it to Scorponok.
30. The Zarak Shield Turns the Tide
The Cybertrons can find no trace of the Destrons on Master after the loss of the disk. The Destrons have headed toward an asteroid belt, where they plan their next course of action. They decide to head back toward Master to begin production of the Zarak shield. The Targetmasters spot Soundblaster spying on them with Ratbat and follow them back to the planet's surface. They then fall into an ambush by the Destron Targetmasters. The Destrons blast the side of a mountain, uncovering a water storage tower which sweeps the Cybertrons away. Underground, the other Destrons are busy at work completing the Zarak shield. Pointblank and the Targetmasters make their way to the Destron underground base. As the Cybertron Headmasters move out to find the Destron base, Weirdwolf plants a bomb on Fortress' battle cruiser. Daniel and Wheelie spot Weirdwolf knocking on the walls and engage in a crossfire until Fortress arrives. Pointblank sends the three Cybertron Targetmasters up to Megazarak to find out what's happening inside. The Headmasters manage to find the base as well, but are met by a Destron Targetmaster ambush until they are saved by the Cybertron Targetmasters. A battle breaks out, alerting Scorponok, who sends out the Duocons. Scorponok escapes with the Zarak shield, with Fortress Maximus moving to intercept, but then the bomb goes off, allowing escape.
31. Operation: Destroy the Destrons
The Cybertrons work on repairing Fortress' ship after the bomb while Chromedome, after learning about the completion of the Zarak shield, tries to organize a raid. Pointblank, however, convinces Fortress Maximus otherwise, much to Chromedome's irritation. The Cybertron Headmasters drive around to blow off some steam and end up meeting with some of Master's warriors. The Cybertron Targetmasters try to infiltrate the base, when they are spotted by the Destron Targetmasters and Sixshot. They are surrounded by the enemy as the Cybertron Headmasters work out an assault plan with the Master warriors. Soundwave informs Scorponok of Chromedome's plans to mobilize the Master warriors. Fortress tries to get in touch with Chromedome just as the Master assault begins. However, the Destrons are ready and as the Masters rush in, Megazarak emerges from underground. The Masters are slaughtered by the Destron Targetmasters while the Cybertron Headmasters must deal with their Destron counterparts. Fortress Maximus arrives and faces off with Megazarak with his new shield, actually managing to defeat him. Chromedome tries to go after the Destrons but Pointblank finally knocks some sense into him, telling him he's done enough.
32. My Friend Sixshot!
As the Cybertrons are flying around in space, searching for the Destrons, Daniel gets accidentally separated from Wheelie and locked into a room. Megazarak attacks Fortress Maximus while Wheelie tries to get Daniel out of the room. Sixshot emerges from Megazarak as three odd solar windstorms emerge from the asteroid belt. Sixshot gets forced into one, while a section of Fortress Maximus, containing Daniel, gets ripped off into another. The Cybertron Targetmasters use the Trainbots to go out searching for Daniel, who is being driven toward a planet by the asteroids. Sixshot is there too. He starts to leave Daniel, but suddenly a rock creature appears behind Daniel and is ready to grab him when Sixshot blasts it. The Cybertron Headmasters realize that the three storms funneled the rocks into the planet Diamond. Meanwhile, on the planet, Daniel and Sixshot start talking to each other, forming an odd friendship. They are interrupted by the emergence of more rock creatures, who they manage to defeat. Fortress Maximus heads directly into the storm to follow it to the planet. Sixshot continues to defend Daniel from the monsters who constantly appear. The rock monsters merge into a giant creature, capturing Daniel, but Sixshot, showing off his six modes and with a little help from Daniel, manages to defeat it. Fortress Maximus appears, and the Cybertron Headmasters confront Sixshot, but Daniel tells them that he is his friend.
33. Duel on the Asteroid
Daniel is still a l ittle despondent ov er Sixshot's departure, after what they went through on Diamond. Scorponok heads toward an asteroid between Jupiter and Earth (Mars was destroyed) to set up his operations there. Sixshot shows up there after his ordeal on Diamond as the Cybertron Targetmasters come under attack. The Headmasters take the Trainbots to give the Targetmasters some reinforcements. Suddenly, Sixshot appears and challenges Chromedome to a one-on-one duel. Chromedome recalls Sixshot killing Ultra Magnus while he talks wit h Poin tblank, and he goe s to meet Sixshot. Danie l f inds out about the challenge and begs Chromedome not to go through with it but to no avail. Wheelie discovers Daniel putting on an exo-sui t, as he is planning to stop the duel. Fortress sends out Pointblank to stop the duel and to bring back Daniel. The battle is just starting as Daniel arrives and he proves to be a distraction to both sides, behind landing directly between the two combatants. Scorponok starts setting off a bunch of bombs, trying to destroy everyone on the asteroid, even Sixshot. Sixshot saves Daniel from falling into a river of lava, but apparently perishes when the asteroid explodes.
35. The Final Showdown on Earth, part one
At a speech on earth, something emerges from under the ground - a huge rocket, along with the Destron clones, who send a satellite into orbit. Meanwhile, Predaking and Bruticus begin attacking cruise ships in the ocean. Spike and Carly start to organize teams to repel the Destrons - the Protectobots, the Throttlebots and the clones. The Cybertron Headmasters and Targetmaster hasten their journey back toward Earth in Fortress Maximus - with Sixshot getting a free lift - after getting a report from Metroplex. Defensor battles Bruticus as the Throttlebots face Predaking. The Targetmasters try to determine what the giant metal pillar, which popped out of the ground, is used for, and they see it emitting a large amount of electrical energy. The Trainbots reunite Daniel with his parents, who are trying to rescue some people trapped in a crevice. The bands of electrical energy released by the pillars stretch across the world, causing massive destruction. Sixshot confronts the Destron clones and Bruticus, looking for Megazarak, and after not getting the information he seeks, he kills the clones. The Cybertrons continue to try and find the source of the troubles - Megazarak - but are unable to.
35. The Final Showdown on Earth, part two
The Cybertrons try to figure out where Megazarak is and what he's trying to accomplish and get a break when Punch reports in to Fortress. Fortress takes his ship and heads toward the Middle East but is spotted by Soundblaster, who sends the Destron Headmasters to attack. Sixshot spies on Snapdragon, who is operating inside a pyramid, when yet another metal pillar appears from underground. Megazarak suddenly appears from underneath the sand, prompting Fortress Maximus to transform. However, the energy released from the pillar is attracted to the sword and it blasts him to the ground. Sixshot continues to track the Destron leader, going underwater where he is sucked into a whirlpool, which leads him to the lost city of Atlantis, where Megazarak is stationed. There, he confronts Scorponok and is taken back into the Destron ranks. Scorponok tells him what he is planning to do - destroy the Earth with the energy from the pillars, then as Sixshot turns to leave, he tries to shoot him in the back, but it turns to only be an illusion. The Cybertrons gather en force to the Arctic where they meet the entire Destron force for the final showdown. Fortress Maximus battles Megazarak, and as Wheelie and Daniel are about to be stepped on by Flywheels, Sixshot saves them by firing a random blast. Daniel goes looking for Sixshot, and as Menasor shows up to crush the human, Sixshot blasts him into the ice. The plasma energy which is accumulating gets sucked into the satellite, which releases a beam of destruction on top of both Fortress Maximus and the now-empty shell of Megazarak as Scorponok had left the planet to its destruction. However, with the help of the Headmasters and the other Cybertrons, who form a double ring, they repower Fortress Maximus who destroys the satellite, then slices Megazarak neatly in half.
The Big Broadcast of 2006 Two ancient races are at war. The Quintessons have been aggravating the war for centuries(?) so that they can sell arms to both sides. The Autobots eventually discover a lost Quintesson Journal detailing these activities and display it at a peace conference they set up between the two races. The races call off the war and go their separate ways. The Quintesson Journal The Quintessons transmit subliminal messages over the Junkions' airwaves in an attempt to control them. The Junkions first become hostile and then generous -- a phase in which they decide to share their doctored airwaves with the other races in the galaxy, spreading the subliminal messages even further. Cyclonus attempts to convince Galvatron of the strategic possibilities of this but he refuses to listen, so Cyclonus investigates on his own. Grimlock's New Brain Galvatron attempts to sabotages the Autobots' new power source on Cybertron by introducing particles that cause Transformers to go out of control. The Autobots travel through the subterranean caves of Cybertron to shut down the malfunctioning power source, and Grimlock is charged with the particles, which makes him brilliant. Galvatron is determined to find more of the particles and discovers they only exist in Unicron's brain. The Decepticons and Terrorcons travel to Unicron's head and get a new supply, but Grimlock has anticipated this and the Autobots counterattack. The Autobots are being defeated by the particles, but Grimlock creates the Technobots to battle the Terrorcons who have formed Abominus. Grimlock's incredible knowledge is transferred to Computron. The 'cons are defeated and their supply of the particles is destroyed. Money Is Eveything The Technobots are patrolling Earth with Marissa Fairborne and capture a smuggler who has been double crossed by the Quintessons. He takes his ship and some of the Technobots to the Quintesson base against the plans of Fairborne. The others follow and are attacked by the Terrorcons, who are being controlled by the Quintessons on timers. The smuggler uses a clever ploy to reenergize the damaged Technobots using the device he smuggled, and Abominus and the Quintessons are defeated. Only Human Rodimus, Magnus, Arcee, and Springer are captured by humans led by Cobra Commander and their consciousnesses are removed. They find themselves in human bodies, and barely escape being killed in a trash compactor. Meanwhile, their Transformer bodies are going to be used to infiltrate Autobot City and destroy the remaining Autobots. Springer manages to be the pilot of his own body and rescues the other Transformer-humans and then attacks Autobot City straight on to let them know something is wrong. The Autobots are returned to their bodies by Perceptor. Call Of The Primitives During a huge battle, all of the "primitive" Transformers are summoned to a planet. An energy creature has been unleashed, and it drains the life energy of all the other Transformers. Its creator, Primacron, was also responsible for Unicron and many of the primitives, and his assistant believes that only the instincts of those Transformers can stop the intellect of Primacron. All except Grimlock are defeated and he stops the energy being who has betrayed Primacron by throwing the system into reverse.
Face Of The Nijika The Autobots discover a fight between the Quitessons and Galvatron. The Quintessons seem to keep Galvatron away from some sort of disc. The Quintessons refer to the disc as a Quantum Lock. The Autobots interfer, the Quintessons open the lock and the Autobots (Rodimus Prime, Perceptor, Ultra Magnus and Blurr) and Cyclonus are sucked in. The Quintessons themselves enter too, then the lock closes again. The Quintessons control for the lock is damaged, so they need the help of Perceptor to repair it. Perceptor is locked in microscope mode and crashes near a farmer, he sees the Autobot symbal and says one word: "Nijika". The crashlandings of the other Autobots are noticed by villagers nearby, they are talking about the return of the devils of the sky. All people have some sort of crystal on their forehead. In a fury they head for the Autobots. The farmer removes Perceptors Autobot insignia and uses it as the face of a small robot. The robot is activated and appears to have Perceptors personality. Rodimus Prime and Ultra Magnus decide to leave the wounded Blurr behind in their search for Perceptor. Perceptor ask the farmer about the "space devils" that he is talking about. He tells a story of long ago: Their ancestors had developed a spaceship to travel to the sky. The robot Nijika was constructed to steer the ship. The people send lightbeams to the statue of Kodory, their guardian, from the crystals on their forehead. The Quintessons arrived at the moment of the launch and destroyed the ship and Nijika. They also entered a statue of Kodory and disconnect some cables inside. Then the disc appeared in the sky and all the stars vanished and the light of their minds disappeared. Perceptor understands the Quintessons must have feared the going to the stars of these people. Cyclonus and the Quintessons decide to work together to find Perceptor. Rodimus Prime and Ultra Magnus find the body of Perecptor and head to the city. Blurr is captured and is about to be thrown in a melting pit. Then Nijika/Perceptor arrives and stops them, Cyclonus quickly gets Nijika and heads to the Quintessons ship. Blurr saves Nijika but after she has repaired the controls for the lock. Perceptor is restored back to normal. The Quintessons leave and use the controls, but Perceptor tricked them, the stars reappear and the light is returned to the peoples minds. The Burden Hardest To Bear The Decepticons make various attacks on Japan, the Autobots drive all attacks off. The Japanese government blames the Autobots for all the damage. Rodimus Prime can't take all the responsibilities anymore, he leaves the Autobots to take a rest. Marissa follows him to talk with him. Dead End and Wildrider spot Rodimus Prime and attack him, Rodimus Prime falls in a ravine and the two Decepticons get the Matrix. Galvatron is very pleased with the Matrix, he tries to use it, but the ancient Autobot leaders appear and demand the Matrix to be returned. Galvatron promises to do that and when they disappear he orders Scourge to destroy the Matrix. Scourge doesn't destroy it but uses it himself. Marissa brings the wounded Hotrod back to the other Autobots, Hotrod no definetly decides to quit the Autobots. Scourge defeats Galvatron and Cyclonus and takes command of the Decepticons, he leads them in an attack on Earth. Hotrod seeks the help of a japanese sensei, this sensei learns Hotrod to follow ones destiny and to do ones obligations. The Autobots defend a city from Scourge and the Decepticons. Scourge attacks two humans, Hotrod arrives just in time to protect them. Now that he sees what the Matrix has done to Scourge he realizes that he and the Matrix belong to eachother. After a short fight he takes the Matrix back and turns back into Rodimus Prime. Galvatron finds Scourge and has a "talk" with him. Rodimus Prime is finally able to bear the burden of his leadership. The Return Of Optimus Prime, part 1 Two humans, Gregory and Jessica, are heading to a star in their spaceship in order to test the heat resisting alloy used for the ship. When they are near the star they notice another spaceship, on board that ship is the body of Optimus Prime. Jessica decides to retrieve the body, Gregory is against it, he has still a grudge against Optimus Prime because he was wounded in a fight between Optimus Prime and Megatron. They manage to rescue Optimus Prime and their ship survives the star going nova. In the star there was some kind of spores, back on Earth Gregory and Dr Morgan (Jessicas father), discover that the spores can bring hatred to anybody they touch. Then their research lab is attacked by the Terrorcons, the Protectobots come to the rescue, but the Decepticons manage to steal the heat resistance metal and Jessica is severly wounded. The Protectobots bring her to the hospital and give her metal braces to help her walk again. Her father starts to hate the Transformers too, he blames them for invalidating Jessica. Gregory and Dr Morgan make Jessica lure the Autobots to the Research lab. Jessica warns the Autobots it's a trap, but Rodimus Prime wants to rescue Optimus Prime. Many Autobots get exposed to the spores and start smashing everything, the Decepticons arrive too and many of them are exposed too. Rodimus Prime and Jessica escape with Optimus Primes body, Wreck-Gar tries to heal him, but fails. Rodimus Prime orders Sky Lynx to find a Quintesson and make him repair Optimus Prime. All Transformers start going beserk and destroy everything they see, the humans get infected too. Rodimus Prime disconnects Metroplex, because it would be too dangerous if Metroplex would be infected too. Ultra Magnus attacks Rodimus Prime and infects him and Wreck-Gar. Sky Lynx rescues a Quintesson from infected Sharkticons. The Quintesson and Sky Lynx start repairing Optimus Prime and finally they succeed. The Return Of Optimus Prime, part 2 Optimus Prime asks Sky Lynx for an update on the current situation. He hears that some Autobots were not infected, these Autobots were wounded while defending the city from Superion. Together with the Quitesson five Autobots are repaired: Kup, Blurr, Blaster, Steeljaw and Bumblebee. Bumblebee is rebuilt into Goldbug. All Autobots are very happy to meet their leader again, they ask him about his plans to stop the plague. He has no plan, so he decides to get the Matrix from Rodimus Prime in order to get the wisdom needed to stop the plague. Jessica tells him about her fathers metal, which will enable him to get the Matrix without getting infected by Rodimus Prime. The metal was taken by the Terrorcons to Char, so the Autobots head to the Decepticon planet. Optimus Prime saves Galvatron from infected Decepticons and Galvatron agrees to tae him to the metal. Optimus Prime refuses however to tell Galvatron how the metal is going to be used. After some adventures they get to the metal, Jessica unintendedly reveals the secret and Galvatron betrays the Autobots, luckily he fails. Optimus Prime and Sky Lynx escape with the metal, the other Autobots, Jessica and Galvatron get infected. The Quintesson coats Optimus Prime with the metal. Optimus Prime fights Rodimus Prime and retrieves the Matrix, now Sky Lynx gets infected too. Back in Autobot headquarters Optimus Prime enters the Matrix, he learns that no one has ever had enough wisdom to stop the plague, that's why the spores had been stored in the star. Optimus Prime realizes the Matrix itself perhaps has enough wisdom. He releases the powers of the Matrix and the plague is stopped. Dr Morgan and Gregory apologize for the troubles they caused, Galvatron shows his respect for Optimus Prime and he tells there will be no fighting this day. Optimus Prime gives the empty Matrix to Hotrod and tells him it will be filled by the wisdom they will accumulate from now on.The Ultimate Doom, part 1 The Decepticons attack a solar station of a maharadja and the Autobots come defend the station against them. This attack was only a diversion; Sparkplug meanwhile is kidnapped by the Decepticon cassettes from the Ark. Doctor Arkeville, a brilliant evil scientist who works for the Deceptins needs Sparkplug for an experiment. The decepticons flee from the solar station when they hear that their diversion was succesful. Sparkplug is brought to Decepticon Headquarters and Dr. Arkeville places a hypnochip on Sparkplug's neck and with it he can be controlled against his own will. The Autobots have thought of a plan to rescue Sparkplug and go free him. For the first time the Autobots start an attack on the Decepticon headquarters. Megatron is discussing about the delivery of a special cargo with Shockwave, Arkeville overhears them but Megatron refuses to discus the matter. Brawn, Cliffjumper and Windcharger dig a tunnel under the ocean floor to reach Decepticon Headquarters from below. The other Autobots attack the Headquarters as a diversion. The operation is succesful, Sparkplug is rescued. Back in the Ark many Autobots need repairing, Sparkplug helps, he even "repairs" healthy Autobots. The Ark is suddenly attacked without warning, all Autobots start shortcircuiting. Spike discovers that his father disabled the outer perimeter alarm. He activates the firealarm and the foam that comes from the ceiling threatens to destroy the Decepticon circuitry, Megatron orders a retreat. Some time later the Decepticons have finished the construction of three energy pilons. The pilons act as a spacebridge which will transport Cybertron itself into Earth orbit. Earth will be destroyed and the Decepticons will be able to harvest the energy. The Autobots are repaired again and attack as soon as they notice the pilons. Megatron uses an army of human-slaves (all these are controlled by Dr Arkeville) to stop the Autobots. Spike almost succeeds in breaking the effect of Sparkplugs chip but Arkeville increases the effect. Sparkplug activates the first pilon, Thundercracker the second. Optimus Prime stops Megatron from activating the last one. Then Megatron explains the purpose of the pilons; if they are not all activated then Cybertron will be destroyed, because it is already in transport. Optimus Prime has no choice, with a feeling of regret he pushes the button that activates the pilon. Cybertron appears, Earth quakes and storms plague the Earth. The Ultimate Doom, part 2 The Autobots are all depressed to see Cybertron in these circumstances. Spike tries to start an attack by aiming one of the pilons at Megatron, but he misses. Soundwave starts generating audio disruptor waves, the Autobots retreat for this noise. The Decepticons keep kidnapping people to serve as slaves. These people have to harvest the energies from the Earth. The Autobots only progress slowly in their return to the Ark, the weather is very bad and visibility is almost down to zero. Bumblebee gets a flat tire, the others don't notice this, so he and Spike get seperated from the rest. A chasms opens just under Bumblebee, He and Spike almost fall in, then Laserbeak appears he grabs Spike and Bumblebee falls. Bluestreak, Hound and Windcharger return to search for Bumblebee and Spike. They see Laserbeak and manage to free Spike, thereafter they rescue Bumblebee from the chasm. Megatron uses humans to accompany the ennergy transports from Earth to Cybertron so the Autobots won't attack the transports. The disturbances of the Earth crust become more and more bothersome, even the Decepticons have their setbacks by the weather. The storms prevent the transports to Cybertron and a tidalwave even destroys the tower of their headquarters. The vulcano of the Autobot Headquarters becomes active again, Ironhide shoots the crater shut. The Autobots use the Dinobots to control the weather, the Dinobots manage to succesfully stop a tidalwave. Optimus Prime discovers that Sparkplug has also been send to Cybertron. Spike asks Optimus Primes permission to go to Cybertron to rescue his father, Optimus Prime agrees. So Spike, Trailbreaker, Wheeljack, Bumblebee, Brawn and Skyfire head for Cybertron. Spike falls through a trap door on Cybertron, Bumblebee and Brawn are the only ones who are small enough to go after him. The three of them reach the Decepticon Headquarters on Cybertron, there they discover all about the hypnochips. Then Sparkplug enters, Spike tries to talk with him, but Sparkplug sounds the alarm. The Ultimate Doom, part 3 Spike is very emotional, Brawn and Bumblebee almost have to drag him away from Sparkplug. Before they can leave, Shockwave, Soundwave and two jets arrive. Brawn proves to be a tough Autobot, he stops Soundwave and the jets. Spike quickly rans for the door, but Shockwave orders Sparkplug to stop Spike, Sparkplug obeys Shockwave. Shockwave shoots at the two humans, but Brawn jumps in between. The situation starts to look very grim, but then the other three Autobots arrive. All Autobots escape from Decepticons Headquarters, Skyfire keeps the Decepticons busy while the other Autobots hide in Wheeljacks workshop. In his old laboratory Wheeljack starts working on a machine to counter the hypnochips. Optimus Prime and the other Autobots on Earth destroy an energyplant which Megatron had built to harvest energy from tidalwaves. Still Megatron has managed to obtain enough energon for his purposes. Spike infiltrates Decepticon Headquarters again and is captured, this was part of the plan: the other Autobots arrive and use Wheeljacks invention to free Sparkplug. The group of Autobots can now return to Earth. The Autobots on Earth attack Megatrons spaceship, now that it is still parked on the ground. Skyfire arrives and all the humans are released, this eases the Autobots in their attack. Quickly Megatron boards his ship and takes of. The Autobots have lost this battle. Worst of all the presence of Cybertron all the time in Earths orbit results in the imminent destruction of Earth. Spike has an idea: the energon on Megatrons spaceship, if that explodes then Cybertron will be pushed out of orbit. The Autobots start firing and hit the ship. Cybertron leaves Earths orbit and Megatron has lost. But Megatron is not killed, he floats in space between the debris of his ship.Countdown To Extinction The Autobots are busy repairing the damage on Earth that has been done by the orbiting of Cybertron. The Decepticons are also busy repairing their headquarters, but they miss Megatrons leadership. While they are quarreling, Megatron arrives and resumes command. Starscream and Dr Arkeville head for the secret laboratory of Dr Arkeville. Laserbeak informs Megatron on their activities. Megatron and the Decepticons head also to the laboratory. The Autobots notice Megatron and the Decepticons and decide to stop a reunion of Megatron and his troops. In the laboratory Starscream finds an exponential generator, which can destroy the entire world. Starscream activates a timer to destroy the generator and the Earth within eight hours. Dr Arkeville tries to stop him, but Starscream takes him with him to Cybertron. On Cybertron, Starscream orders Shockwave not to try and contact Earth. Once again Dr Arkeville tries to stop Starscream, but he gets electrocuted. Meanwhile, the Decepticons lure the Autobots in a trap of quicksand. Megatron leaves Laserbeak to guard the Autobots and he and the rest of the Decepticons continue their journey. The Autobots manage to distract Laserbeak and after Ironhide freezes the sand, they are able to follow Megatron. The Autobots and Decepticons start a fight, Shockwave contacts Megatron and warns him. Just in time Megatron disconnects the timer. Dr Arkeville is partly rebuilt as a robot, but he is still functioning. Starscream wonders what happened with the timer and heads back to Earth to investigate. Megatron and Optimus Prime work together to get rid of the generator that is about to explode. Megatron transforms and Optimus Prime loads him with the generator and blows it into space. The generator explodes when it passes Starscream and Starscream crashes on Earth. There he is "welcomed" by Megatron.A Plague Of Insecticons In the demonswamp on Bali, three unknown Transformers attack a few villagers and take their food. The villagers send a SOS and the Autobots respond. Skyfire takes Brawn, Windcharger, Bumblebee and Spike with him, while Sparkplug tries to contact Optimus Prime. The Decepticons also hear of the Transformers and decide to investigate. Ravage manages to track them and the Decepticons find their base. It is an old Decepticon escapepod, launched when the Decepticons and Autobots crash landed on Earth. Optimus Prime and a group of Autobots run in some kind of procession in a canyon and are delayed for their rendez-vous with the others. Meanwhile, the three new Decepticons (the Insecticons) attack an field of workers. Skyfire arrives and the Autobots attack. However, the Insecticons are able to duplicate themselves infinitely and the Autobots have to hide in the field. Shrapnel shoots a grenade and the shrapnels cut all the corn. Then Megatron and the Decepticons arrive and join forces with the Insecticons. Luckily, Optimus Prime and the others arrive also. The Decepticons leave and head for an oil refinery. The Autobots follow, but Soundwave detects them. Megatron orders the Insecticons to deal with the Autobots, and he will take care of the Insecticon clones. The Insecticons prove to be a nuisance for the Autobots, but finally the Autobots arrive at the oil refinery. The Insecticons have already arrived there and start drinking from an oiltanker. Much of the oil gets into the water. As soon as the Autobots arrive, a battle commences. Dark clouds gather above the fighting Transformers. A rocket from Bombshell starts a thunder-storm, then Shrapnel starts directing the lighting at the Autobots. Spike realizes that rubber tyres will protect them, and the Autobots are able to fight back. A forcefield of Trailbreaker is even able to make all the clones disappear. Then Megatron starts pushing a burning oil tanker to the oilrefinery, but Optimus Prime prevents that and throws the tanker to Megatron. The Insecticons decide that they are better off themselves and leave, the Decepticons follow them.Heavy Metal War The Constructicons steal some materials from a construction site. Back in a temporary Decepticon base they start constructing a machine which will enable Megatron to receive the special powers of all the other Decepticons. Megatron heads to the Ark and challenges Optimus Prime for a duel. Th duel will be held under Cybertonian law, which means the two of them will have to fight just the way as they are, without any help. The troops of the looser will have to leave the Earth for ever. Back in his base, Megatron orders his troops to give him their powers. He then orders the Constructicons to destroy Teletran One during the combat, because Teletran One will be able to detect Megatrons deception. Spike is worried, but Optimus Prime reassures him that he will win in an honest combat. Both Autobots and Decepticons head for a crater where the combat will take place. The troops gather at the edge and the two leaders start the battle. After a relative short fight Megatron wins. Optimus Prime orders his troops back to the Ark, they will then leave the Earth. The Constructicons have reached the Ark and are about to destroy Teletran One, but then it becomes apparant that the Ark is not deserted: the Dinobots are still present. The Dinobots attack before the Constructicons can do anything, the Constructicons have to pull back. Outside the Ark they transform into Devastator and the fight continues. The Autobots arrive back at the Ark, but they can't help according to the law. While repairing Optimus Prime the Autobots discover Megatrons deception, the law does not apply anymore. The Autobots head outside and help the Dinobots. All the Decepticons are driven into a chasm with lava. Megatron shortly resurfaces and promises that the Decepticons will rise again.Autobot Spike Sparkplug has created a new Autobot: Autobot X. Unfortunately the programming of the personality failed and Autobot X goes beserk. The Autobots disable him. Wheeljack has the idea to make a machine to transfer the personalities of an Autobot into Autobot X. So in the future they will be able to store a Autobots personality in Autobot X, while they repair the Autobots body. Spike calls Autobot X "Frankenstein". Meanwhile the Decepticons attack the New Airforce Rocketbase. The Autobots head towards the rocketbase. During the battle the rockets explode, the Decepticons leave. Megatron gives one last shot at Bumblebee. Spike who was riding in Bumblebee is serious injured and is brought to a hospital. The doctor suggest it would be helpful if they could store Spikes personalities somewhere else, during their operation. Sparkplug immediately thinks of Autobot X. The transfer is a succes. Spike is confused and also beserks. After the Autobots restrain him, Sparkplug gets him to listen to reason. Laserbeak records all this and reports back to Megatron. Megatron decides to try to make Spike a Decepticon. Spike is watching Tv and sees the movie Frankenstein. He realizes he has become a monster and goes beserk once again. He leaves the Ark, followed by Bumblebee. Megatron finds him and convinces him to join up with the Decepticons and to take revenge on the Autobots who made him into this monster. Bumblebee overhears and heads to Optimus Prime to warn him. The Autobots were just finished with repairing the rockets and they head for Spike. Optimus Prime explains Spike he is suffering from a side-effect of the mind transfer. Spike won't listen and starts shooting, using Megatron as his weapon. Sparkplug arrives and calls to Spike to chease firing. Spike shoots at him and he falls in a ravine. Spike realizes what he did and saves Sparkplug just in time. Megatron orders Spike to destroy them, Spike agrees he is now able to destroy "them". He starts firing at the Decepticons using Megatron. Megatron quickly transforms and the Decepticons flee. The doctors have now cured Spikes body and the Autobots are able to bring Spikes mind back into his own body. Bumblebee wonders what would happen when you transfer a robot mind into a human body. (Perhaps already making a reference to the episode "Only Human"?)The Core The Constructicons construct a drill, this drill is meant to reach the center of the Earth. When the drill will reach the Earth's core then the Earth will explode and the Decepticons can use the energy to accomplish their plans. Megatron has positioned a spacebridge nearby, so all the Decepticons will be able to flee from the Earth in time. To cool the drill, the Constructicons use the water of a river, a Autobot patrol heads for this river to investigate where the water is going. Mirage discovers the Megatrons plan and the Autobot patrol quickly flee from Devastator to inform Optimus Prime. Chip and Wheeljack construct a device to bring Devastator under Autobot control, Optimus Prime plans to use this device to stop the Decepticons. The device works; Devastator becomes an Autobot. Ironhide freezes the river and the drill must stop without its cooling. However Megatron had enough water stored and uses this water to start drilling again, additionally he has a device to bring Devastator back under Decepticon control. The Autobots attack the drill again and Megatron uses his device and unexpectedly Devastator attacks the Autobots again. Chip uses his device, but Devastator goes beserk. He even destroys the space bridge, now Megatron has to join forces with the Autobots to stop the drill. With their joined efforts they get Devastator back to his normal self and Megatron orders Devastator to stop the drill. The other Decepticons flee as far from the drill as they can, but luckily Devastator is successfull.A Decepticon Raider In King Arthur's Court Autobots and Decepticons are fighting each other at some ruins. Starscream, Ramjet, Ravage and Rumble detect some enrgy at the ruins and enter them. Hoist, Warpath and Spike follow the Decepticons. Starscream examines a stone, a energy burst appears. The Decepticons leave the ruins and are attacked by some knights. One of the knights is Sir Wagond of Blackthorn makes an alliance with the Decepticons to defeat his enemy, the Red Knight. A girl overhears this conversation and flees, followed by Ravage. The girl runs into Spike, Warpath deals with Ravage. The girl introduces herself as Nimoe, she is the daughter of the Red Knight, Sir Aveley. The year is 593. The Autobots go with her to her father. He is preparing for a tournament the next day. He organised the tournament to get Blackthorn here and to make piece with him. Hoist makes an armour for Spike, he becomes Nimoes champion. Blackthorn chooses Ramjet and Rumble as his champions in the tournament. Sir Aveley and Warpath battle them and win. Starscream kidnaps Nimoe orders Aveleys surrender and leaves. Both Autobots and Decepticons are getting to low on energy to function properly. Merlins owl, Salmon, sees all this and reports to his master. With gold Starscream makes electric wires, then he lets people walk in a tredmill to make energy for him. Spike heads out to free Nimoe. Starscream starts making a large amount of gunpowder as a substitute for lasers. Blackthorn makes piece with Nimoe and agrees to help her against the Decepticons. Spike arrives too. The two Autobots arrive with the entire army of Aveley to free Nimoe. Sir Wolf, the help of Blackthorn, is promised command by Starscream, he tries to stop Blackthorn, but fails. Spike and Nimoe get rescued from Ravage by Salmon. Warpath and Hoist get defeated, because of lack of energy. Both Blackthorn and Aveley ask Merlin to restore them. Merlin agrees and the Autobots defeat the Decepticons. All Transformers head back to the ruins, Merlin calls the location the Dragon Mount. They indeed get attacked by a dragon. Merlin had invented gunpowder too, he gives it to Warpath to drive of the dragon. The Transformers say goodbye and enter the ruins again. They step outside and get attacked by the Decepticons, the Autobots quickly leave. Starscream is so overjoyed to be back that he throws himself around Megatrons neck, ruining Megatrons shot.City Of Steel Laserbeak is flying over New York and enters the sewers. Underneath the city the Constructicons are busy with a new headquarters. The Decepticons make the Empire State building sink into the ground. The Autobots are alerted by a newbulletin and head for New York. Laserbeak tells Megatron the Autobots are heading for Central Park, Megatron plans a ambush. Scavenger is still in the sewers and positions himself underneath Optimus Prime. Then he smashes the roof of the cavern. Optimus Prime falls into the hole. Megatron quickly immobilizes him. Megatron orders the Autobots to leave the city, otherwise he'll kill Optimus Prime. After the Autobots have left, Megatron decides to cut Optimus Prime into pieces anyway. He gives all pieces except for the head to the Constructicons. Wheeljack, Ratchet, Hound, Trailbreaker, Mirage, Bumblebee, Tracks and Spike ignore Megatrons order and enter the sewers from the harbour. Hound has problems finding Optimus Prime, his sensors seem to malfunction, meanwhile they're attacked by some sort of robotic crocodile. They lure the beast away and continue their search. Meanwhile the Decepticons are busy rebuilding New York into New Cybertron. The Autobots find Optimus Primes head. Hound realizes that his sensors locate all the different parts. The crocodile was made of the other parts. They capture it and start rebuilding. Only the right arm is missing. The Constructicons put it as a weapon on a tower in the centre of the city. The Autobots head for the tower, but get attacked from everywhere by the constructions of the Constructicons. Even without arm Optimus Prime is able to tack out these defences. Ironhide, Ratchet and Optimus Prime start climbing the tower. Spike and Bumblebee enter the tower. Optimus Prime has almost made it to the top. The Constructicons form Devastator and he heads for Optimus Prime. Inside the tower Spike and Bumblebee disable the controls for Optimus Primes arm. Devastator grabs Optimus Prime and climbs to the top in King Kong style. Spike calls to Optimus Prime that the controls of the arm are disabled. Optimus Prime sends a signal to his arm and the arm shoots Devastator. Both Optimus Prime and Devastator fall, but Optimus Prime is caught by Ironhide and Ratchet. The Decepticons flee once again, Ratchet repairs Optimus Prime. The Autobots head back to the Ark, Bumblebee is seen driving away with a numberplate saying "I love NY".The Immobilizer Wheeljack has created the Immobilizer, a new weapon that can temporarily stop any Transformer in its tracks. The Decepticons manage to steal it partly due to Carly (first appearance) distracting Ironhide from his lookout post. During the battle which follows, Ironhide rescues Carly from the Decepticons, but they have made the Immobilizer's affect permanent and start immobilizing Autobots left and right. With the assistance of Brawn and Jazz, Spike and Carly manage to reverse the effects of the Immobilizer and save the Autobots. The Immobilizer is then destroyed. Dinobot Island, part 1 Bumblebee and Powerglide are investigating a energy disturbance somewhere on the ocean. They pass a energy field and are suddenly attacked by a real live Pteradon. Bumblebee crashes on the island where the Pteradon came from, Powerglide scares the Pteradon off. The entire island proves to be inhabited by Dinosaurs. In the Ark the Autobots are trying to help the Dinobots with controlling their powers. This results in nothing; the mysterious island however seems like an ideal Dinobot training ground. The Dinobots, accompanied by Spike and Powerglide head for this island. Laserbeak follows them and learns the location of the island. Spike gives the island it's name: Dinobot Island. After some adventures of Spike with Dinosaurs, he leaves again with Powerglide. Lasebeak reports back to Megatron and the Decepticons head immediately for Dinobot Island. They arrive and start collecting as much energon as they can. Swoop notices the Decepticons during one of his training flights and the Dinobots head to attack the Decepticons. Meanwhile Spike and Bumblebee collect some books on Dinosaurs from the library and are suddenly attacked by babarians riding mammots! Back on Dinobot Island Megatron causes a panic among the Dinosaurs living there, he drives them in the direction of the Dinobots. The Dinobots back away and fall in a tarpool, they try to struggle out of the pool, but slowly they sink away.Dinobot Island, part 2 Megatron watches the Dinobots sink in the tar. Starscream expresses his concerns about disturbing the time energies of the island, Megatron ignores him. The Autobots are alerted by Teletran One about a time disturbance in the towncenter, near the library. The Autobots rescue Spike and Bumblebee and lead the babarians back into their own time through the timewarp. Back in headquarters the Autbots and Chip try to figure out how the timewarp could appear. Teletran One reports two more timewarps. One brings a pirateship to the present, just next to a luxurios ship, the other brings a group of outlaw-cowboys in contact with some motorcyclers. The Autobots manage to bring them all back to their own times. Chip finds the cause of the timewarps; something is wrong on Dinobot Island. The Autobots head immediatly to the island, the disturbances are also located on the island itself; the tarpool of the Dinobots disappears and the Dinobots are freed. The Autobots are attack the Decepticons and are defeated. Meanwhile Grimlock tries to communicate with the dinosaurs and makes them attack the Decepticons. The Autobots are rescued and the Decepticons flee once again. The Autobots release to the energon from the Decepticon energoncubes and the normal timeflow is restored.Traitor The Decepticons capture an unstable power source (electrocells) and seek to exploit them, with the Insecticons' help. Mirage's plan to turn the Insecticons and Decepticons against one another backfires when he is mind-controlled by Bombshell. Under the Insecticon's influence he leads the Autobots into a trap. Ratchet removes Bombshell's cerebro shell and learns the truth, however. In a final battle with Megatron, the electrocells are destroyed. Enter The Nightbird The Autobots are finishing a new security system in the Ark, then Dr Fuijama contacts them and asks them to protect his newest invention, a robot, from the Decepticons. The robot is a female ninja, named Nightbird. The Decepticons attack and capture Nightbird. In Decepticon temporary desert headquarters Bombshell makes Nightbird a new Decepticon. Optimus Prime promises Dr Fuijama to bring the robot back unharmed. Nightbird infiltrates the Ark and steals the world energy chip from the Autobots. Mirage encounters her on her way out and he sounds the alarm. Still she is able to escape, the Autobots head after her. Megatron is very satisfied with Nightbird, he even jokes about replacing Starscream with her. Starscream protests and he is imprisoned in a force field. The Autobots manage to capture Nightbird and the Decepticons head out to save her. Starscream escapes and heads after the other Decepticons, he disables Nightbird during her fight with Optimus Prime. Megatron orders the Decepticons to go after Starscream, leaving the Autobots with the energy chip and Nightbird. Dr Fuijama deactivates Nightbird and locks her up for ever.Changing Gears Normally grouchy Gears is abducted by the Decepticons and Megatron steals his personality cartridge to use in his latest plot, making Gears friendly to them. The Autobots must stop the Decepticons from using a space needle from penetrating and destroying Earth's sun and they retrieve Gears' component, making everybody except Gears happy. A Prime Problem The Decepticons discover a fissure with colonium crystals, these crystals contain large amounts of energy, but they are too unstable to handle. Megatron decides to lure the Autobots in the crevice. When the Autobots arrive the Decepticons attack, Optimus Prime is seperated from the rest and Laserbeak knocks him unconscious. Laserbeaks scans Optimus Prime and Megatron uses these scans to make an exact duplicate of Optimus Prime, this copy is controlled by Megatron. The copy heads to the Autobots and orders them back to headquarters. Later the real Optimus Prime regains consciousness and he heads back too. The copy tries to convince the Autobots to destroy the real Optimus Prime, but Ironhide takes command and he orders to first find out who is the real one. The Autobots make some tests but none of these can make a difference between the two. Teletran notices increasing energy readings from the crevice and the Autobots head towards the crystals again, together with the two Optimus Primes. Megatron makes a copy of Starscream and he plans to destroy this copy of Starscream by the copy of Optimus Prime. Spike and Windcharger overhear this plan, Laserbeak attacks them, Spike is captured and Windcharger falls into the crevice. Meanwhile Megatron executes his plan and the Autobots are convinced that the copy is the real Optimus Prime. The copy leads the Autobots to the crevice, but then Windcharger appears; his rubber tires had protected him from the energy. He tells the Autobots about Megatrons plan and the Autobots destroy the copy of Optimus Prime. Then Optimus Prime leads the Autobots to the Decepticon base and the Autobots rescue Spike.Atlantis Arise Laserbeak and Buzzsaw discover a city under the sea. The Decepticons head for this city, but they are attacked by its inhibitans. After a short struggle Megatron and the leader of the Sub-Atlanticans, king Nergyl, make a treaty. Together they start to make preparations for an attack. Teletran One picks up the energy built up and Optimus Prime sends some Autobots to investigate. The Autobots are attacked and Wheeljack sacrifices himself to allow the other to escape. Nergyl captures him and decides to use him to construct an effective weapon against Transformers. The Decepticons and Sub-Atlanticans attack and capture Wasington DC. The Autobots go to free the city, Bumblebee and Spike are going to free Wheeljack. Nergyl succeeds in constructing a weapon that immobilizes Transformers, he uses it against both Wheeljack and Starscream. Bumblebee and Spike are able to restore Wheeljack and the three of them head to the other Autobots to warn them for the weapon. They are to late, the Autobots are all immobilized and the Decepticons put a forcefield around the city for protection. Wheeljack contacts the Dinobots to ask them for help. The Dinobots smash the forcefield and attack the Decepticons and Sub-Atlanticans. Grimlock destroys Nergyls weapon, freeing all Autobots. The Decepticons and Sub-Atlanticans go back to Sub-Atlantica, Starscream tells Megatron about Nergyls betrayal. The Autobots and Dinobots attack Sub-Atlantica, Nergyl decides to blow up his city. Wheeljack, Bumblebee and Spike trie to stop him, helped by Rumble and Ravage, but they are to late. The Transformer flee and Sub-Atlantica sinks back into the ocean.Attack Of The Autobots Megatron alters the Autobots' rechargers to change the Autobots to evil. Jazz and Bumblebee (who did not recharge) and Sparkplug, work to restore the Autobots and prevent Megatron from stealing a solar power satellite. After restoring the Autobots to good, Jazz shatters the Decepticons' escape rocket with a musical sonic boom, and their plot to return to Cybertron with the satellite is thwarted. The Master Builders Powerglide is attacked by the Starscream and Thundercracker, he puts up a good fight, but finally he crashlands. Grapple develops a Solar Tower, this tower will be able to produce large quantities of energy out of sunlight. Optimus Prime is impressed, but he is against building one, it would be to vulnerable for a Decepticon attack. Teletran One reports Powerglides troubles and Optimus Prime sends Grapple and Hoist to repair Powerglide. After repairing Powerglide Hoist and Grapple discuss Grapples plan, the Constructicons overhear them talking. The Constructicons attack and capture the two Autobots, Scrapper doesn't finish them off. He tells them that the Constructions have deserted the Decepticons and that they will help Grapple to built the tower. Grapple demands proof of their desertion, Scrapper agrees and frees them again. Back in Decepticon headquarters Megatron questions the Constructicons about this betrayel. Scrapper tells him that it was a list to get the designs of the tower. Megatron gives them energon to convince Grapple. The Constructicons head back to the two Autobots and convince them with the energon. Together they start building the Solar Tower, they are noticed by Powerglide who informs Optimus Prime. The tower is almost finished: Devastator helps Grapple to place the last part. Then the Decepticons attack Grapple and Hoist. The Autobots arrive some time later and attack. Thanks to Smokescreen the Autobots manage to make Devastator fall through the tower. The Decepticons retreat and the Autobots start searching the rubble in search for Grapple and Hoist. Finally they find them, Grapple and Hoist give offer apologies, Optimus Prime excepts them. He orders them back to base and tells them to clean up the rubble the next day.Microbots Somewhere in the jungles of South America some archeologist discover a 4 milion year old spaceship in a mountain. Soundwave and Megatron hear of this news on a newsbulletin, it is the Decepticonship on which they left Cybertron. They both know what the cargo is. Perceptor is doing some routine repairs on Ironhide, he is able to enlarge chips so that he can easily repair them. Brawn makes clear he considers Perceptors job as less important then fighting the Decepticons. Bumblebee disagrees with Brawn. Optimus Prime doesn't know what the cargo is, but he decides to stop Megatron from getting it whatever it is. Both Decepticons and Autobots slowly progress through the jungle. The Decepticons arrive first, Megatron retrieves the Heart of Cybertron from the ship. The Heart of Cybertron is a energy maximizer. Hook implants it in Megatron chest. The Autobots arrive, Megatron proves to be an one-man-army. Smokescreen puts a cloud of smoke around Megatron and the Autobots start shooting at him. Then they blast a mountain putting an avalanche on top of the Decepticons. The Autobots are able to leave. The Autobots arrive severily wounded at the Ark. Brawn is angry at Perceptor because Perceptor is the only one who isn't hurt. But Perceptor has a plan to stop Megatron: he'll shrink himself with his engine to enter Megatron and remove the Heart of Cybertron. Optimus prime agrees with the plan and orders Bumblebee and Brawn to accompany him. They decepticons have a feast and are all drunk of energon. Powerglide drops a box with the three Autobots on Megatron. The three enter Megatron, Perceptor warns them that they will become large again in two hours. Slowly they advance, everywhere they get attacked by Megatrons immune system. They reach Megatrons brain, Brawn suggest to smash it. Perceptor warns him that that would be to dangerous, it could set of an explosion in the Heart of Cybertron. In the meantime Megatron and the Decepticons start their attack on Autobot Headquarters. Perceptor and the others ride on Megatrons brain impulses to the Heart of Cybertron. Perceptor manages to disconnect it just before Megatron tries to blast Optimus Prime. They quickly leave Megatron with the Heart of Cybertron. The Decepticons flee. The Heart of Cybertron almost explodes, Brawn throws it in the sky and Perceptor destroys it with a blast. Brawn is impressed by Perceptors actions and declares him the hero of the day.The Insecticon Syndrome Hound, Beachcomber, Bumblebee, Spike and a ranger are driving through the woods. The ranger brings them to a plave where the trees have been eaten by giant bugs. Beachcomber concludes it must be Insecticons. Another ranger spots them and the Autobots head towards them. The Insecticons drive the Autobots off, a hologram of Hound convinces them that the Autobots have been killed. Megatron and some other Decepticons observe the Insecticon victory. Megatron offers them the core of the Nova Powerplant, in exchange the Insecticons have to help him to break into the defense computer of Iron Mountain. The Autobots overhear and make plans to stop the Decepticons. At the Nova Powerplant a battle emerges. The Decepticons keep the Autobots busy, the Insecticons meanwhile eat the powercore. This energy makes the Insecticons grow to the size of the other Decepticons. Soundwave overhears the Insecticons talking about deceiting Megatron, however he is observed. Bombshell places a cerebroshell in his head, so Soundwave comes under Insecticon control. The new size of the Insecticons surprises the Autobots, Wheeljack and Ironhide get injured. For once the Autobots flee. Teletran One warns Spike that the Nova Powercore is incompatible to the Insecticon design, they will explode soon. Megatron attacks Iron Mountain, not knowing that Soundwave is under Insecticon control, he tells him to eliminate the Insecticons the minute the Decepticons have the computer data. The Autobots head to Iron Mountain, Ratchet remains in Headquarters to create an antidote for the Insecticons. Soundwave reaches the computer and starts downloading the info. Megatron orders the Decepticons to eliminate the Insecticons. However all have been implanted by Bombshell with cerebro shells. Megatron nearly escapes such device himself. Megatron tries to blast Bombshell, but is stopped by Optimus Prime. Optimus Prime explains that such blast could set off an explosion. Ratchet arrives with the antidote and Megatron offers his help. Megatron gets wounded in the fight and Optimus Prime transforms Megatron into his weapon mode and shoots the antidote at the Insecticons. Only Shrapnel escapes, he starts to explode. Spike quickly throws the antidote in Shrapnels chest. The explosion still occurs but is limited to Shrapnel himself. Bombshell is able to repair him, but he has lost his control on the Decepticons. The data Soundwave downloaded is lost. The Insecticons flee, the Decepticons go in pursuit.Day Of The Machines Megatron and Soundwave infiltrate Quantum Laboratory, there they reprogram the supercomputer Torq III. With circuit linkers Megatron gives Torq control over all the mechanisms in the compound. Dr Paul Gates and a professor are locked in by Torq, they use materials in the lab to make a transmitter to contact the Autobots. Megatron puts cicuit linkers on oil tankers to give Torq III control of them. All oil tankers now head for a oil platform built by the Decepticons. Optimus Prime sends Hound, Skyfire and Spike to the oil tankers, he and the other Autobots head for Quantum Labs. The defences of Torq III are too strong for them and Optimus Prime calls for the Dinobots. The Dinobots succeed in destroying the defences. Dr Gates and the professor are rescued and Optimus Prime heads into the compound alone, he manages to deactivate Torq III. Meanwhile Hound and the others have boarded of a oil tanker and surprise the Decepticons. Laserbeak captures Spike and Megatron orders Hound and Skyfire to surrender, they comply. The deactvation of Torq is no problem for Megatron, because he has a remote control for the oil tankers. Spike and the two Autobots manage to escape their prison and they deactivate Megatrons forcefield. The other Autobots are now able to attack the platform. Megatron sets the self destruct and all Transformers flee. Optimus Prime stays to find Spike and the others, he finds them just in time and Skyfire brings them all to safety.Megatron's Masterplan, part 1 The new elected mayor of Central City presents a solarenergy facility, the building has been given to the city by the man who lost the elections, Sean Berger. Sean is thinking about a new plan in his studyroom, when a cassette transforms into Laserbeak. Lasebeak kidnaps Berger and brings him outside the city to Megatron. Megatron explains him that the Autobots are evil and that the Decepticons are good. In exchange for his help Megatron promises him one city, Berger agrees for two cities. Later Berger is hovering above an oilfield in a helicopter with a cameracrew. He sees and films how the Autobots are plundering the field while no one is present. Ironhide sees the chopper and alerts Optimus Prime, Optimus Prime starts shooting at it. Megatron comes to the rescue, the Autobots flee. The city is celebrating Autobot Day, all people have gathered in the streets to greet the Autobots. In the City Hall the mayor is about to honor the Autobots. He shows the tape of the rescue at the solarenergy facility, but the tape has been switched. The people get to see scenes of the Autobots stealing and making plans to conquer the world. The mayor cancels the honoration, the Autobots are forced to leave the city in disgrace. Sparkplug, Spike and Chip keep loyal to the Autobots. Back in the Ark, the Autobots are discussing the situation, when a human army arrives. The army under the command of Sean Berger and the mayor places the Autobots under arrest. Optimus Prime orders the Autobots to go without resistance. In a football stadion a trial is held against the Autobots. Spike leaves to search for new evidence, Soundwave notices him leaving and orders Ravage to follow him. Spike finds the original tape, on the tape he sees how Optimus Prime puts off his helmet and it proves to be Starscream! Meanwhile the judge has reached his verdict, he banishes the Autobots from Earth for ever. Berger has a spacecruisher ready, the Autobots board the ship and take-off. Megatron enters the Ark together with Berger, he changes the Autobots flight plan in Teletran One from Cybertron into the sun.Megatron's Masterplan, part 2 The city is now celebrating Decepticon Day. Spike manages to get away from Ravage with the tape. The Autobots are getting second thoughts and decide to return to Earth. They discover the ship is uncontrolable and that their destination is the sun. Cosmos tries to change the destination by accessing Teletran One, but without succes. Megatron watches his monitors while the ship comes closer to the sun, after a few minutes the ship explodes. Now the Decepticons head for a press conference. Spike shows the tape to the mayor, together they too head for the conference. On the conference Megatron declares his plan to conquer the world and he tells them he has succeeded thanks to Berger. The Decepticons immediately start wrecking the city. Megatron renames it Megatronia One. Berger tells everyone he has seen the end of the Autobots. Spike tries to use the tape to clear the Autobot name, but is stopped by Ravage and Laserbeak. Berger saves Spike from the two Decepticon Cassettes. All humans are taken prisoner and are forced to do hard labour for the Decepticons. Berger too has to do hard labour. Trailbreaker has created a forcefield in which the Autobots are temporarily save. Cosmos tries to bring them back to Earth, but he too is connected with Teletran One and they stay heading for the sun. Chip thinks that Teletran One might be able to help the humans, Spike helps him escape. Megatron sends Thrust after Chip. Chip manages to enter a trailer unnoticed and after some time he reaches the Ark. Teletran One tells him that the Autobot ship has entered the sun and has exploded. Thrust comes crashing through the roof and captures Chip, he also destroys Teletran One. Chip is very depressed, all hope has gone now that Teletran One is destroyed. Spike tries to cheer him up. Cosmos now has control back, the Autobots head back for Earth. Meanwhile on Earth, the government has gathered an airforce to attack the Decepticons. The Decepticons easily deal with them. Megatron celebrates his superiority, then suddenly a familiar sound comes from outside. Megatron hears Optimus Primes voice calling him. The Decepticons attack the Autobots, after a short battle the Autobots are victorious. The Decepticons withdraw. The humans are freed, the mayor apologizes to Optimus Prime. Sean Berger also apologizes, but still he has to face justice. The Autobots once again head to the Ark.Auto Beserk The Autobots test a new weapon, developed by Wheeljack: the Negavator. Red Alert detects Decpticons, The Autobots head out to stop the Decepticons from obtaining the Negavator. Red Alert asks Inferno to stay with, because he is worried. When the Autobots get in trouble Inferno goes to help them, leaving Red Alert alone. The Decepticons leave, Rumble launches one last missile which hits Red Alert. Red Alert gets wounded and becomes even more paranoia as usual. The Autobots decide to take the Negavator to their headquarters, on the way they are attacked. The Decepticon attack fails, Starscream is left behind when they retreat. The Autobots notice Red Alerts malfunction and try to convince him to go with them for repairs. Red Alert flees and encounters Starscream. Starscream uses Red Alerts paranoia to convince him that the Autobots are planning to deactivate him. Red Alert believes him and together they head to the Negavator to show the Autobots and Decepticons their superiority. Time however is running out for Red Alert, because his circuits are starting to overload, soon he will explode. Red Alert and Starscream manage to reach the Negavator in its bunker. The Autobots quickly go to the bunker when they notice that security is breached. They try talking to Red Alert again, chaos becomes complete when the other Decepticons arrive. Starscream and Red Alert get in disagreement when Starscream wants to join the Decepticons again. They start fighting, finally Starscream has to use his no-ray on Red Alert to stabilize Red Alert's circuits, otherwise he himself would have been killed when Red Alert would explode. Red Alert quickly sets the self-destruct of the Nevagator, both the Decepticons and Autobots leave. Red Alert is wounded by the explosion and Inferno heads into the fire to save him. The friendship between the two of them is restored and Red Alert is carried by Inferno from the fire.Desertion Of The Dinobots, part 1 The Autobots assist professor Green with the construction of a new fighter jet. Starscream drops a bomb on the jet and it explodes. While the Autobots inspect the ravage, Megatron attacks the research laboratorium to obtain the blueprints. The Autobots arrive and thanks to a hologram of Hound, picturing a retreating Megatron the Autobots win. Meanwhile Spike, Carly and Bumblebee are on the airport to pick up Sparkplug. There they see a Decepticon jet and contact Optimus Prime, but he is still busy repairing the lab. He sends the Dinobots to the airport to attack the Decepticons. The Dinobots win the battle, but when the Dinobots transform back to their robot mode, the Decepticons blast the planes on the airport. The explosion seriously wounds the Dinobots, they are repaired but they decide to work for themselves from now on. Later the Decepticons and Autobots start to have problems in functioning properly; some can't transform, others can't speak, etc. The problems are becoming more and more bothersome. Perceptor discovers that a rare element of the Transformer circuits, cybertonium, is decaying after the milions of years on Earth. The Decepticons use the spacebridge to get new supplies, the Autobots contact the Dinobots and ask them to get the cybertonium for them. The Dinobots agree, but they go to Cybertron instead of getting it from the spacebridge. Spike and Carly go after them in Carlys car, Spike gets a thumbradio from Sparkplug. Shockwave let himself be surprised by the Dinobots, now he is prepaired and starts shooting as soon as Spike and Carly arrive.Desertion Of The Dinobots, part 2 Shockwave hits Carlys car and it disappears, Spike and Carly quickly run past him. They ran under a small ledge and arrive in the master computer of Cybertron. Spike uses his radio to contact his dad. Carly tries to take control of the spacebridge from here. A shortcircuit occurs throwing her backwards in a pit. She twists her ankle, Spike jumps after her. Sparkplug tells there is an exit in the bottom of the pit. Shockwave informs Megatron that he can't send Cybertonium because the spacebridge is down as a result of the short circuit. Spike and Carly continue their way, they are attacked by a sentinel but they deal with him. With Sparkplug giving directions they head for Wheeljacks lab. Carly sees something following them Inside the lab something starts hitting the roof. When a hole in the roof is formed, Spike starts shooting, but it's Swoop. Swoop tells that the other Dinobots have been captured and put in the Cybertonium pits. The three of them head for the pits to free them, Carlys has become better in the meantime. They enter a mass transport device to go quicker. One of the tubes is damaged and they have to walk, they're too deep in Cybertron for the radio. They find robots and traps from the old times. With Swoops help they pass all traps. They find a viewing room and look at reports from the early days. The device tells them that the Decepticons started the war, some Autobots fled, others made weapons to defend themselves. While viewing the device they don't notice a sentinel approaching. He captures all three of them and brings them to the pits. The Dinobots are there doing hard labour for the Decepticons. Carly takes a look at them and sees that their memory circuits are bypassed. She repairs them all. Spike has an idea to escape. Grimlock starts shouting and Spike and then tells the sentinel he won't work with humans. As the sentinel deactivates the forcefield of the pit to remove Spike and Carly, the Dinobots attack. Sparkplug taps in the computer of the Decepticons and makes the spacebridge appear at the Autobot Headquarters. The Dinobots, Carly and Spike arrive at Shockwaves headquarters, they run past him and enter the spacebridge. They arrive on Earth with the Cybertonium that Shockwave had put in it. On Earth all Autobots are restored. The Decepticons load the cars into a strange machine. Tracks tries to contact the Autobots but his radio is broken. He is about to enter the machine and be smashed by Scrapper, then the cable that connects his computer with his body gets loose. Raoul interferes, he tells Megatron there is bomb in his car. Megatron orders him to disarm it. Raoul opens Tracks hood and quickly repairs the cable. Tracks and Raoul escape and are rescued by Sideswipe, Jazz and Bumblebee. Back in headquarters the Autobots notice that the stolen cars are entering New York. Megatron converted them to robots. The Autobots have difficulty stopping them, Ratchet examines one robot and notices there is no brain. Optimus Prime orders Blaster to transmit a jamming signal and the robots stop functioning. The Autobots head for Megatrons construction and attack. Megatron captures Raoul, but Raoul sprays paint into a panel of Megatron. Megatron shortcircuits and the Decepticons flee. Tracks destroys the construction and the Autobots start converting the robots back into cars.Blaster Blues Spike, Carly and Blaster are visiting a rock-concert. Blaster starts broadcasting the music on all Autobot channels. Meanwhile, professor Haley has developed a new descrambler, the Voltronic Galaxer, he uses it to send a signal into space to get in contact with aliens. Megatron, Starscream and Thundercracker arrive and steal the transmitter. As a result of Blasters music the Autobots have trouble receiving the professors emergency signal. Megatron and the Decepticons board Astrotrain and leave Earth. The Autobots arrive after the Decepticons have left, Optimus Prime promises the professor to get it back. The Autobots search the Earth, Blaster and Cosmos circle the Earth and find the device on the moon! Blaster and Cosmos carefully approach the Decepticons who have built a little base on the moon. They are discovered and captured. Megatron decides to use Blaster as a transcrambler and Cosmos as a powerbooster. Megatron then activates the device and all radiocontact seizes on Earth. A chaos on airports and other services like the fire brigade and wheather forecasts is a result. The Autobots do their best to end the chaos. They extinguish a fire caused by a train accident and save a group of people that were snowed in. Optimus Prime gets seriously injured by the Decepticon jets while he is busy regulating the traffic on an airport. Megatron is able to broadcasts on all frequencies and demands all the Earth's energy supplies in exchange for the release of the airwaves. Blaster is able to block the broadscast with his music, Carly quickly locates his position. Spike, Carly and Powerglide take the unconscious Optimus Prime with them and head for Omega Supreme. Carly does her best to repair Optimus Prime, but unfortunately they can't contact Ratchet and the other Autobots. Omega Supreme decides it is best to first stop Megatron and they head to the moon. Megatron discovers what Blaster is doing and is about to shoot him when Omega Supreme arrives. Omega Supreme puts the others on the moon and starts a fight with Astrotrain. The Constructicons are building a transfixatron for Megatron. This device can lock Transformers in their transformation mode. Megatron orders Starscream to be a testsubject, the device works, the device can also neutralize its own effect. The Constructicons start constructing a second device. All Autobots, except for Huffer, like Chips idea and head for the race. Huffer, Ratchet, Brawn and Wheeljack stay in the Ark. During the race Skywarp teleports to above the racetrack and uses the transfixatron unnoticed on the Autobots. The public loves the show, the Autobots give some extra demonstrations. Mirage detects Decepticons approaching. The Autobots try to transform, but fail. The Autobots try to ram the Decepticons, however the Decepticons blast the Autobots easily. Bumblebee who did not participate takes Spike and Chip with him and heads for the Ark. Chip, Wheeljack and Ratchet start developing a beam to restore the Autobots to normal. Megatron introduces the Autobots to the second invention: a giant car wrecker. Hound sends a hologram of the Autobots location to the Ark, Soundwave blasts Hounds holographic projector. However Chip has already been able to pinpoint his location. Megatron chooses Ironhide as the first victim. The other Autobots gather around him to protect him, but their attempt is futile. Wheeljack is ready with a grenade to counteract the effect of the transfixatron, the Autobots in the Ark head out to save the others. Optimus Prime has still a surpise which enables him to help Ironhide: Roller. Roller distracts the Decepticons, Optimus Prime is able to get Ironhide out of reach of the machine. The others arrive and after some struggles, Chip is able to throw the grenade to the Autobots. The Autobots are able to transform again. Megatron orders the Constructicons to form Devastator. Devastator is too strong for teh Autobots. Wheeljack sees the transfixatron and asks Cliffjumper for help, together they operate the transfixatron and aim it at Devastator. Devastator falls apart into the Constructicons. Megatron orders a retreat. Ironhide and Trailbreaker smash the transfixatron. The Autobots head back to their headquarters. The Golden Lagoon A few Autobots (Perceptor, Beachcomber, Warpath, Seaspray and Powerglide) are walking the beach, suddenly they are attacked by Ramjet, Blitzwing and Thrust. Beachcomber hides in a cave, the cave goes a far into the mountain, on the other side he finds a beautiful place. The place is full with all kinds of animals and plants. In this place Beachcomber finds a small lake, filled with a golden colored substance, he recognizes it at once: Electrum. The mountain starts to shake and Beachcomber is reminded of the fight, quickly he heads back. He decides to tell no one of his discovery, in order to save this piece of nature. Thrust however sees the lake from the sky and dives in the lagoon. He now has a golden color himself and proves to be indestructable. Perceptor and Seaspray are captured, the others flee. The other Decepticons bath in the electrum too, for fun they start firing at each other, detroying much of the surroundings. The three escaped Autobots reach some other Autobots and together they head out to help Perceptor and Seaspray. Their attack is futile, they are all defeated. Beachcomber realizes they must have found the Electrum and heads to the lagoon, there he is captured too. Megatron decides it is time to attack Omega Supreme, even now this Autobot is hard to defeat. After Omega Supreme is defeated the Decepticons head for the Ark. The Autobots are now alerted by Teletran One about the presence of Electrum and they head out to find the lake. Beachcomber, Seaspray and Perceptor escape and also head for the lake, there they meet the other Autobots. The Decepticons find the Ark deserted and go back to the lake, the Autobots are waiting for them. Slowly the effect of the Electrum wears of during the fight, the Decepticons destroy the lake and head back to their headquarters. Beachcomber stays behind after the Autobots leave too. Amidst the remains of this once beautiful place he remarks "We won".Quest For Survival A giant army of Insecticons is eating the wheat crops. Six Autobots, Tracks, Inferno, Smokescreen, Skids, Warpath and Huffer, arrive to drive off the Insecticons. The Insecticons are too strong and the Autobots are forced to retreat. Back in Autobot Headquarters, Optimus Prime agrees with Smokescreen it was the best thing to retreat. Bumblebee contacts Optimus Prime from the planet Floron III, Spike, Cosmos and he have found the robotic insecticide and are on their way back to Earth. Cosmos is attacked by some strange mechanical plants growing on an astroid. Cosmos escapes but is covered by seeds of the plant. On Earth, Megatron transfers energy from the Insecticons to energon cubes. The Insecticons receive as reward only a small part of the energy that is accumulated. The seeds on Cosmos start growing, Spike and Bumblebee use the escape pod, Cosmos crashes on Earth. The plants keep growing, Cosmos is covered by many plants. Bumblebee and Spike go to Autobot Headquarters to get help. Bumblebee has some plants on his back to, Ratchet removes them and gives them to Perceptor for research. Teletran One shows that the entire valley is already covered by those plants, the Autobots head out to rescue Cosmos. Laserbeak notices this and alerts Soundwave and Megatron. Megatron is espacially interested in the insecticide. Perceptor recognizes the plant as a species that was thought to be extinct: Morphobots. They are capable of devouring any robotic form, they should be approached by extreme caution. Thrust warns the Insecticons to keep away from the valley, because of the insecticide. The Insecticons think that Megatron is hiding something in that valley and head to it with their entire army. Megatron and some Decepticons arrive at the valley and are impressed by the large amount of Morphobots. They hide when the Autobots approach. Warpath tries to blow a path trough the plants, Ironhide uses his liquids, both attempts fail. Blaster uses his music, this works! The plants move out of Blasters way, the Autobots are able to rescue Cosmos. Cosmos gives Optimus Prime the insecticide, then the Decepticons, Megatron, Soundwave, Starscream, Blitzwing, Dirge and Ramjet attack. Megatron blasts the cannister with insecticide. While Megatron isn't paying attention a Morphobot grabs him. The Decepticons come to his rescue and get him free. Then the Insecticons arrive, they think that the Morphobots are food and that Megatron has been hiding it from them. The Insecticon army lands in the middle of the valley and gets eaten. The three Insecticons escape. The Decepticons and Insecticons flee. The Autobots put the Morphobots in a rocket and send them into space. Perceptor contacts Optimus Prime for a second rocket, the few Morphobots that he had for research have taken over the lab.The Secret of Omega Supreme A spaceship takes of from the ocean and heads to an astroid, the Constructicons are on board. They bring the astroid in Earth orbit and start mining the ore on the astroid. Cosmos spots them and heads back to headquarters to report it to Optimus Prime. Optimus Prime sends him back to investigate further, Optimus Prime himself heads for Omega Supreme. He explains the situation to Omega Supreme, when he mentions the Constructicons Omega Supreme becomes agitated. Optimus Prime asks him what he has against the Constructicons. Omega Supreme starts a story from long ago: At the start of the war Omega Supreme was a Guardian Robot, his duty was to protect Crystal City. He was also a good friend of the Constructicons. Megatron used a device named the Robosmasher to reprogram the Constructicons as Decepticons. The Constructicons lured Omega Supreme away from Crystal City by telling him that there was a Decepticon attack somewhere else. When Omega Supreme noticed there was no attack, he ran back to Crystal City, only to see it destroyed by the Constructicons. He tracked the Constructicons and managed to capture them, he programmed them back to Autobots. They encountered the Robosmasher again, and the Constructicons surprised him with their new mode: Devastator. They were still Decepticon and tried to use the Robosmasher on Omega Supreme, halfway during the reprogramming Omega Supreme managed to free himself. The Constructicons fled and Omega Supreme followed them for milions of years. Optimus prime later sends Omega Supreme to the astroid to stop the Constructicons from mining it. Then Optimus Prime hears from Teletran One that the astroid is organic from nature, he tries to radio Omega Supreme, but Omega Supreme ignores him. During the fight the astroid splits and some sort of bird hedges from an egg inside of the astroid. The bird heads for San Francisco, the Autobots try to stop the bird.
