Toronto
First Impression: Not that hot what!! People from the east keep on bragging how hot and humid it is in the East compared to Vancouver. And how much worse the weather is compared to Singapore. Not really leh!! Hot, yes, humid, a bit, still not as bad as Singapore. I guess those people who complained have not been to The forests area in Lentor or Marsiling or Lim Chu Kang in the afternoon, while wearing long 4. So for those of you who have heard the myth that Toronto, or the East, has got notorious weather, just listen to their "wonderful" stories of sub-zero winter and snow filled walk-way.
Second Impression: Pretty polluted area. Smog-up city has become a "rare" city for Vancouverites. So, it might be interesting to find out that certain part of Canada is still covered in smog.
Third Impression: Impressive highways system. Think CTE connecting to AYE/PIE/BKE/SLE or whatever expressway in Singapore is confusing. Think again! Imagine few highways stack on top of each other, each having exit to the other, and all these happening in a short 500-1km distance. Hard to imagine? Go take a look yourself lor. WARNING: Not for poor navigators and impatient drivers with poor navigators.
Enough said, here are some pictures:
