The Ring
This is the ring. It is not smooth so as to symbolise the many many setbacks we will get in out engineering career. There are many many other myths and legends about this ring. If you are interested in finding out more, please contact me or any other canada educated engineer.
Vancouver Public Library
The ceremony was held in Queen Elizabeth theatre, just next to the Vancouver Public Library. This library looks like the Colesum. Movies like 6th day has made sets from this infamour library. I have been in Vancouver for almost 4 yrs, and this is the first time that I visited the library!! This tells you what kind of student I am (I visit the UBC library slightly more frequently then the VPL :P).
