Battle Rules
Deployment:
-Each team secretly chooses which units they will buy with their money.
-Both sides roll and the team that rolls highest picks who goes first.
-Each force takes turns deploying thier units one at a time.
-A unit can be deployed a distance of half of its speed stat from its teams starting square.
-Starting points are located on the map and where people start is determined by
who roles highest.
Turns:
-Each Player takes a turn each round.
-A turn includes moving and attacking with as many of their units as they want.
-A unit can move as far as it's speed.
Attacking:
-A units range is either its Attack or Sight, whichever is lower.
-To hit or damage an enemy unit the attacking unit must make an
attack roll higher than the defending units defence.
-The Attack roll is two six sided dice plus the Attack power of the weapon being used.
-If the attack hits Damage is calculated using two six sided dice plus the power of the weapon.
Hit Points:
-Hit points are the life of a unit.
-When damage is dealt to a unit its HP goes down.
-If a units hit points are reduced to zero, it is disabled.
Unit Types:
Vehicles
-Vehicles are machines that require one troop or more to work.
-Vehicles often have thier own weapons and special attacks.
-Vehicles are useless alone, if it contains one troop it can either move
or attack once per turn.
Infantry
-Infantry can travel inside of vehicles and aircraft.
-At the beginning of each turn a troop has the oppertunity to enter or
exit a vehicle.
Aircraft
-Aircraft come in two types: Hovering and Flyby
-Flyby units start on one side of the map and travel straight across it,
attacking as it flies past.
-Flyby units travel all of the way across the map in a single turn.
-When a flyby unit moves into the range of a unit with Attack (Rocket)
or Attack (Machine Gun) the unit gets a free attack upon the Flyby unit
once per turn.
-Hovering units work like normal units except that they can only be attacked
by Attack (Rocket) or Attack (Machine Gun).
-Hovering units can also fly over obstacles in the terrain.
