• A student initiative, which raised £22,500 for Maggie’s Cancer Caring Centres. Worked as part of a group of 15 students that coordinated the fashion show voluntarily outside our university studies.

• Responsible for organising invitations, ticket pricing, advertising & sponsorship.

• Gave me a depth of experience in professional telephone conversation techniques, speaking directly with Senior Executives from a range of companies in FTSE 100 down to small businesses or the public to promote and arrange sales appointments with them.

• Involved working in teams of 10-15 people where I exceeded or met daily targets of around 0.9 sales/hr with a conversion rate of above 10% on behalf of a range of clients. I was the top salesperson across all similar campaign teams many times.

• Maintenance of 10 large rented houses learning practical skills in wiring, grouting, floorboard laying, exterior waterproofing, interior decoration, tree surgery and included working up high scaffolding. It required much problem solving and helped improve the standard of houses dramatically.

• Managed a brand new, smart deli/convenience store in the evenings. This involved the organisation of the shop floor and its employees, dealing with a large store float and takings, ordering and receiving stock, training of new employees and closing up.

• I instilled a high standard of shop service which was reflected in its opening period success when takings improved by more than 100%.
