“Welcome, Jedi. Please follow me to your quarters.” a droid came up to Padme and Anakin.
“Thanks. So, when will we be able to see your master?” Anakin asked, as they walked down the hallway of the space station.
“You will get to meet him at dinner that he is having for the two of you. It will be only you two that will be having dinner with him tonight.” the droid motioned to one of many doors that was in the hallway.
“I see.” was all Anakin said, as they walked into one of the rooms that was going to be used by one of the Jedi.
“These rooms are both of yours. Your room is here, sir, on the right side and the lady’s room , is on the left side.” the droid pointed to the two doors that was on the other side of the room.
“Thank you.” Padme looked at the living space and then walked to the door that was going to be her bedroom for the whole week that they are going to be here at the Senatorial Conference.
Padme opened the door and saw how beautifully the room was decorated, with pastel colors of mauve and lavenders.
“So, do you know who we are going to be guards for, the whole week?” Anakin walked into Padme’s new room for the week.
"No, I do not know, but we will find out in a few minutes.” Padme went over to the bed and sat down to see how soft or hard the bed was. She found out that it was in the middle of soft and hard.
“What I do know is, that this conference was having death threats made on all the Senators that are here. That is why they called us in, to help with Security.” Anakin gave Padme a wanting smile.
“Down, Anakin. We do need to stay focused on what we need to do here. Yes, I did hear that there were threats about killing all the Senators that are tending this conference. Um. . . both our ex-masters are about to ring the door chimes, so make your hard-on go down.” Padme stood up, got on her tippy toes and she gave Anakin a quick kiss and pat on his butt, before walking out of the bedroom.
Anakin adjusted himself, before following Padme out of the room and walking into the living area, just as the doorbell chimed.
“Masters Obi-Wan and Nyckol, please come in.” Padme opened the door and invited the two ex-Jedi Masters into her and Anakin’s quarters.
“You know that you do not have to call us Masters anymore, because you are now Knights of the Republic. Have you met the Senator that you too are looking after this week?” Obi-Wan walked into the room and looked around the small room.
“Ok. No, we have not met the Senator yet, because we just arrived. I heard that you two have been here for couple of days now. We are going to have dinner with the Senator in a few minutes, so while we are waiting, can I fix you both something to drink?” Padme nodded and then motioned for the older couple to come further in and have a seat.
“No, thank you. We too are on our way to have dinner with the Senator that we are guarding this week.” Nyckol smiled at the young couple. She also had a feeling that they would not be staying in their separate rooms, just like her and Obi-Wan are now staying together in his bedroom.
Before anyone could say anything, the door chimed again. Anakin opened the door and the Protocol droid was standing outside in the hallway.
“Dinner is ready, so please follow me. Oh, Master Jedi’s, I did not know that you were here too. So, please follow me and I will show you two to Senator Palpatine’s quarters, because he is waiting for you two.” the droid noticed that both Obi-Wan and Nyckol were in the room with Anakin and Padme.
All four Jedi followed the droid to their detonated areas.
“Here you go, and if you both need anything, please let me know. If you will excuse me, I have some other things that need my attention.” the droid pushed the button to the door chime, before bowing to both Padme and Anakin and then headed down the hallway.
The door opened up and to Anakin and Padme’s surprise, that the person who opened the door was Senator Bail Organa of Alderaan.
After a week of Senator sitting, both Padme and Nyckol left and headed straight for Naboo. Padme stayed with her family, while Nyckol went up to the mountain region, where her family lives, both not knowing that things were about to change forever in their lives.
