“Jedi Knight Naberrie, welcome. Her Majesty is waiting for you in her private chamber.” Captain Panaka came up to Padme and bowed his head to her.
“Captain, it is a pleasure to be home, so please lead the way.” Padme returned the head bow, before following the older man down the hallway to the huge double doors. She also noticed the two handmaidens that were standing outside the door.
“Ladies, this is Her Majesty’s sister, Jedi Knight Padme Naberrie.” the older man introduced Padme to the two women. >
“Welcome and please come with us, Amidala is waiting for you. My name is Sabe and this is Rabe.” the head of the handmaiden introduced herself and the other girl to Padme.
“Thank you, Sabe and it is nice to meet you and you too Rabe. Please just call me Padme.” Padme smiled at both girls, before nodding for the older man to leave them.
Sabe opened the door to the Private Chamber and standing in the middle of the room was Padme’s sister.
“Padme, it is so great to see you. Mom and Dad told me that you were here, So, tell me how long are you here for?” Amidala came up to Padme and gave her a huge hug.
“Sorry, I did not get a chance to let you know that I was here. I just arrived here two days ago, after there was a huge Senatorial Conference at an undisclosed site. I am here for as long as you need me.” Padme returned her sister’s hug and then followed Padme to the small table that was set up for two people for breakfast.
“That is ok. I do understand, and congratulation on your Knighting. I am so very glad that you can stay awhile. I hope that you are hungry.” Amidala smiled and nodded to the two women, who were walking behind them to leave the room.
Padme watched the two women leave the room and sat down at the small table.
“Yes, I am very hungry. Mmmm. . . this smells so good.” Padme took the lid off of the plate and saw eggs, pancakes, sausage and bacon on the plate.
The two sisters sat there eating the breakfast and also catching up with was going on with their lives. They started to make plans for some of the meetings that Amidala had with the City Leaders and even with some of the workers’ Guilds that came to voice their concerns about some new laws or pay wages for their employees.
Four days later, Padme was sitting in her parents’ backyard garden, when her mother came rushing out of the house.
“Padme! Something terrible has just happened.” Jobal came up to Padme and she saw that her mother had tears rolling down her cheeks.
“ Amidala, is she ok? What happened?” Padme put down the data pad, stood up and came up to her mother. She pulled her into her arms and held her, as her mother began to sob.
“No . . . Dala is fine . . . but all the Jedi . . . the Temple . . . it is . . . gone.” Jobal cried in her daughter’s arms.
“ What! What do you mean the Jedi Temple is gone?” Padme let go of her mother and stepped back.
“It is on the Holo-news. Come on, you must see it.” Jobal grabbed Padme’s hand and pulled Padme towards the house.
Walking into the house, Padme saw it on the Holo-net. The horrific picture on the net made her stop in her tracks, as she saw what was left the Jedi Temple. What she saw was mostly was flames and smoke rising up into the sky.
"Oh my gods!” was all that Padme could say, as she fell down to her knees and began sobbing.
“It was early this morning, explosions rocked the four blocks of Coruscant City block, which once belonged to the Jedi Temple. As you all can see, the explosion has leveled the Temple down to the ground, and so far there are no survivors found.” the news reporter reported.
“No . . . Ani . . . Nyckol . . . Obi-Wan . . . and all my friends.” Padme began to cry harder, as she just watched the smoke bellow out of the ruins of the once magnificent Temple.
“Sweetie, there was some calls for you, while you were in the garden.” Ruwee came into the room with a small video pad.
“Who were they that was calling?” Padme looked up at her father, as Jobal turned off the Holo-net.
“Well, they were from Anakin Skywalker, Obi-Wan and Gwyn.” Ruwee looked at the two numbers of the people who called.
“Thank you, daddy.” Padme took the Teleo-pad and went to her room.
Two hours later, Padme left her room feeling a lot better, knowing that Anakin, Obi-Wan, Nyckol and all of her ex-bear clan members were all safe. She also learned that all the Jedi that were at the Temple were killed, and it was all caused by a group of evil species that really hated the Jedi, for telling them that they had to share a planet with another species that were on the same planets.
It was before dinner when Padme got a call from Master Yoda. He advised her to go into hiding and live a plain and normal life, because he told her there was no more Jedi.
Two months later, Padme and Anakin got married, as did Obi-Wan and Nyckol. The couple moved up to the mountain region of Naboo and they all lived a very quiet life. Padme and Anakin lived on one side of the town, with their children, twins Luke and Leia, on Padme’s family estate, they had before they moved to the city of Theeds. Obi-Wan and Nyckol lived in her family estate on the other side of the town, also with their two children. They all lived quiet and peaceful lives, and watched their families grow.
