Anakin was on the balcony meditation, when he felt a presence coming up the steps. A huge smile came across his face.
“Mom, Cliegg, morning.” Anakin opened his eyes and came up to his mother and step-father.
“Oh, Anakin. It is so horrible what happened. I hope that the twins are ok and we can find them soon.” Shmi came up to Anakin and hugged her son.
“I know Mom and I am working on finding them. Please come inside and breakfast should be ready in a couple of minutes.” Anakin let go of his mother and shook Cliegg’s hand.
They went inside the house and saw Padme and her parents sitting in the living room and with them was Obi-Wan and Sabe.
“Morning, Shmi, Cliegg. It is so great to see you. I cannot believe that someone took our babies.” Jobal came up Shmi and gave her a warm and welcoming hug.
“It is so great to see you and Ruwee too. I am hoping that we can find this person who has done this to our family.” Shmi hugged Jobal, before turning her attention to her daughter-in-law’s father.
“The Queen has called and she will be lending out some soldiers to help us find out who did this. I am hoping that Luke and Leia are ok. They really don’t like to be away from me for too long. Yes, Threepio?” Padme looked up and saw the golden droid come into the room.
“I came in here, to let you all know that breakfast is served.” C3-PO came into the room and looked at all the people that were in the living room, before turning his attention to his Mistress.
“Thank you, Threepio. Well, if you all follow me, we can eat our breakfast.” Padme nodded to the droid, before standing up and motioning for everyone to follow her into the dining room.
“Yes, Mom, I can do that. What I feel is a presence that I once have felt before.” Anakin first looked at his mother, before looking over to Obi-Wan.
“Yes, he was the most powerful Jedi in the galaxy. After all, he is the Chosen One, and I thought I too felt that presence, but it was on a flash of something.” Obi-Wan nodded his head to Shmi and even to Anakin.
“I always knew that there was something very special about my son. Oh, there is a bake sale and arts and craft festival this weekend. I thought about doing something for it. This way,I can keep my mind off of what is going on at the moment. I am hoping that soon that our lives will go back to normal.” Shmi took a sip of her Caf.
“Yeah, I heard about that festival. I was thinking about going and you are right, we do need to do our regular stuff. It will help to keep us from going crazy with worry.” Jobal picked up her cup and nodded over to Shmi, before taking a sip of her tea.
As Anakin was reaching over to grab his cup of Caf, his Holo-link began to beep. Excusing himself from the table, he headed outside and onto the balcony.
“Master, I did what you have asked of me.” Mara bowed her head to Anakin, when his image appeared to her.
“Tell me what you have found out.” Anakin bowed his head in return.
“The person who took the twins is someone that you used to know. He really wants you dead and he calls you a traitor to all the Jedi, for what you have done.” Mara reported her finds to Anakin.
“I see. Thank you, Mara. Just keep an eye on him and give me your location. I will be leaving here tomorrow afternoon.” Anakin nodded to the woman and remembered that he promised his mother that he would help Cliegg with a few things around their estate.
"I will see you soon.” Mara bowed her head again, before her image disappeared.
Anakin went back into the house and back into the dining room. As he came into the room, he looked over to first Padme and then to Obi-Wan, as to tell them that he has some news about what has been found.
After breakfast, Anakin and Padme went with Shmi and Cliegg to their place, so that way, they can help out, in fixing up a few things that is around the estate. Later that night, while Padme and Anakin laid in bed, they listened to the sound of the wildlife that comes around the valley.
“So, you really do know who is behind the kidnapping?” Padme traced her fingers up and down on Anakin’s chest.
“Yes, I have a feeling of who is behind this. I know he always had a thing against me. I always said that his problem with me was that he was afraid of me, because he knows that I am more powerful than he is.” Anakin began to yawn.
“That does sound like someone I remember who does not like you. So, you will know for sure tomorrow, when you meet up with Mara?” Padme also began to yawn too.
The only thing that Anakin did, was nod his head, close his eyes and began to drift off to sleep. Padme leaned upwards and gave Anakin a soft kiss, before she too closed her eyes and began to drift off to sleep.
