Achsah was sitting at the table eating her breakfast, when Nala sat down across from her.
Good morning, Achsah. When did you get back from where ever you were at? Nala began to eat her food.
Oh, morning, Nala. I just got here about an hour ago. So, what are you doing today? Achsah looked past Nala and saw Obi-Wan and Anakin walk into the room.
Wow, and you are up and down here getting something to eat? If it was me, I would still be in bed. Nala took another bite of her breakfast.
Well, that is the difference between us. Am not so lazy like you, when I get back from a mission. Now, if you will excuse me, I have to go and get ready for the Senate. Achsah stood up and left Nala at the table eating her breakfast.
Achsah left the dining hall and headed for her quarters, so she could get ready for todays session in the Senate. Coming up to the turbo-lift, she saw both Obi-Wan and Anakin standing by one of the doors, waiting for the lift.
Morning, Master Kenobi, Anakin. Achsah stopped next to Obi-Wan, as they waited for the turbo-lift to stop at their level.
Morning, Padawan Achsah. Are you ready for today? Obi-Wan looked down at the young Padawan.
Yes, I guess so. Are we going to be with any one today? I havent got my Senate assignment. Achsah was wondering why she had not gotten her daily assignments.
No, we are not assigned to anyone today. Master Windu and even Master Benhah will be with us. We will see you in a couple of minutes, down in the hanger bay, where we are meeting Master Windu. Obi-Wan said, as they got onto the turbo-lift.
Ok, I will be there, after I gather up my stuff of the day. Achsah nodded, before stepping off the lift, when it stopped on her floor.
They all stepped off the lift and went their separate ways, to get their together, before meeting up down in the hanger bay.
Morning. Have you had breakfast yet? Benhah looked up ,as Achsah came into the room.
Yes, that was where I was. I came back here to get my things ready for the Senate today Achsah went over to her desk and grabbed a couple of things and put them into her bag.
" Ok. Well, I better get up and get my stuff too. Benhah sat up and began getting out of the bed.
Yes, you do need to get up, because we have to meet up with Masters Obi-Wan and Windu and Anakin down in the hanger bay ,in about five parsec. Achsah looked at her Master and just shook her head, before heading to the door.
Great and I have to be there on time too, because Master Windu does not like to be late for anything. Benhah mumbled, before grabbing a comb and ran it through his hair.
They both left the room together and headed down to the hanger bay. There waiting for them was Obi-Wan and Anakin and the one that was running late was Master Windu. They finally got to the Senate Building, found their seats and waited for the Senate to begin. When the podium came up, they were very surprised to see that the Chancellor was not there. Achsah felt a total relief that the Chancellor was not there, because she was not ready to face him just yet. She was still having issues knowing that he is her father.
