Hey, Nessie. Welcome back to the fun house. We all missed you, while you were away. Rebekka walked along the wide halls of the main level of the Jedi Temple, as they made their way to the entrance and went outside.
Yeah. There was one, who really did miss you the most and moped around here, the whole time you were gone. Romy laughed, as he elbowed Anakin in the ribs.
Shut up, Romy. Yes, I am very glad to have you back here. Oh, goody. It is lunch time. So, what are you doing for lunch, Nessie? Anakin glared over to Romy, before turning his attention to Nessie, just as the lunch chimes began to ring out. They sat down beside one of the Jedi Knight statues ,that line the pathway up to the entrance of the Jedi Temple.
I thought that we were all going out for lunch and not to Dexs Diner this time. I really would like to go somewhere different. Rebekka took ahold of Romys hand, as they sat there and tried to figure out what they were going to do for lunch.
Ok. See you then and have a good lunch with Lucas. Anakin looked over to where the speeder was parked and waved to the Jedi Master, who even waved back at him.
Nessie left the small group and walked down the path, to where the speeder was. She got into the speeder and then Lucas drove off towards the area of the city, where most of the restaurants are located.
So, are we going to Dexs Diner? Nessie watched as the ground traffic zoomed by and even the people on the sidewalks hurried by onto their own destinations.
Not today. I was thinking about trying out a new restaurant that just opened up, while we were gone. I thought we could go there and check them out. Lucas looked over at his Padawan and gave her a smile. He was glad that she was not a picky about doing things new, like some of the other Masters' Padawans could be.
Ok. That sounds good to me. So, what do you have planned for us, after I get back from combat class? Nessie saw them go passed Dexs and head down two more blocks, before Lucas turned to the left.
Well, I thought that we should just take it easy today. I know after lunch, I am thinking about going back to the room and climbing into my bed and taking a nap, for the whole time that you are in combat class. Lucas pulled up in front of the building that the restaurant was in.
That sounds great to me. I am so tired, because I really did not sleep to good last night. If I did not have to be in class, to whip Anakins butt, I would go back to the room with you and go to bed too. Nessie got out of the speeder and waited for Lucas to get out and walk over to her. Then, they walked to the restaurant together.
hey walked into the room and saw that it was crowded. Lucky for them, there were a couple of tables that left for them.
Good afternoon. How many are in your party? the hostess came up to Lucas and Nessie.
Afternoon. There are only two of us. Lucas smiled at the young lady which smiled back. She motioned for them to follow her to their table.
Ok, no flirting, Lucas. We are here to eat lunch, not to pick up girls. Nessie laughed, as they followed the hostess to their table.
Ok ,but I should say the same thing about you and Anakin. Thank you. Lucas looked at Nessie and gave her a knowing look, before they sat down at the table.
What is that supposed to mean? Thank you. Nessie nodded to the hostess, before looking back at Lucas and giving him an afraid look. He knew about her and Anakin and she hoped that he was not going to tell the Council about them.
I know that there is something going on between the two of you. I have this feeling that you and Anakin have slept together. Lucas saw Nessie blush and he knew that answered his question.
Before Nessie could answer him, their waitress came over and took their order.
It was twenty minutes later, when they were eating their lunch, that the door to the restaurant opened up and a man came into the room. From where Nessie was sitting, she could see him and she turned very white with fear.
Nessie, are you ok? Lucas looked at the very pale girl and saw her slightly shake.
That man, the one that just walked in He is one of the pirates that killed my Master. Nessie pointed to the man, as she whispered to Lucas.
Lucas turned around and looked behind him, at the man that Nessie was pointing at. He watched him take a seat at the counter.
We are going to sit here, finish up our lunch and act like nothing has happened. When he gets up to leave, then we are going to follow him. Lucas turned back towards his young Padawan, reached out and took her hand and held it, so that way, he could show her that there was nothing to fear from that man.
They both watched the man. When he finished his food, he got up from the counter, paid for his food, then headed out of the restaurant. The two Jedi followed the pirate and he led them down to the lowest levels of Coruscant. This level of Coruscant is known for drugs and all kinds of other illegal actives, and also a place to get lost and no one would ever find you. It was their luck that the man led them straight to the pirates hide out.
Once they learned where the pirates where, Lucas and Nessie went back up to the surface and back to the Temple. Nessie went to her combat class, while Lucas called a special meeting with the Council. He told them what they had learned, but they told him not to do anything, until they got more evidence against the pirates. Once Nessie was done with her class, she went to the gym spa and soaked really long in the hot tub, so she could relieve her sore and aching muscles that she got when she was sparing with Anakin. Believe it or not, she did beat his butt and she knocked his saber out of his hand, and also had him pinned to the floor.
Hey, good match today. Can I join you? one of her classmates asked, as he came into the room.
Sure, but there is one problem there. Nessie opened her eyes and looked up at the guy.
And what is that? the guy looked down at her and smiled.
You will be joining me too. Anakin came up behind the guy.
Hey, Anakin. I saved you a place right next to me. Nessie looked at Anakin and patted the space right next to her.
I was here before him ,so I should get the space next to you, not him. the guy glared at Anakin.
Well, you know what? I have a solution to that problem. I am leaving, so now, you two can have the hot tub all to yourselves. Nessie got up and went over to Anakin, who wrapped the towel that he had been holding, around her body. He held the door open for her and the followed her out of the room, leaving the other Padawan standing there looking pissed off.
Thank you, Anakin. I was ready to leave the hot tub, when he showed up. So, what are you doing? Nessie pulled the towel tighter around her body, as they walked down the hallway to the turbo-lifts.
Well ,I was thinking about heading over to the Room of a Thousand Fountains. I wanted to see if you wanted to go with me, or up to the gardens and stroll through the flowers and watch the butterflies fly around us. Anakin put his arm around Nessies shoulder, when he saw her shiver with chill, as they stepped onto the dimly lit turbo-lift.
Oh, really? Well, that all sounds great, but I was thinking about heading back to my quarters and laying down for a little bit. I want to try to sleep for a couple of hours, because I really did not sleep well last night. I am a little sleepy, sorry. How about tonight? We can have a picnic, either in the gardens or by one of the fountains? How does that sound? You look like you can get some sleep too. Nessie looked up at Anakin and saw that he had a very tired look on his face.
You know what? Your idea sounds even better. Sure. A picnic sounds good to me. I will not bring anyone but myself, and I think I will go to sleep too. I am feeling very tired myself. Well, here we are; our level. Anakin smiled down at Nessie and then held the door open, when he realized that they had stopped and the doors opened up.
They got off the lift and walked down the long hall, until they both got to their quarters doors.
Well, good afternoon. Sleep well and see you around six, for our picnic by the Fountains Nessie stopped in front of her door to hers and Lucas room.
Thanks. You too. Yeah, that sounds good to me. Until then. Anakin yawned, then he put his hand on the door panel and the door slid open. He walked into the room and closed the doors behind him.
