Fowler's UM Church on Bestgate Road, Annapolis, Originally founded as John Wesley Chapel in 1871. The small Methodist Episcopal Chapel was one of the oldest churches in the Parole area. Fowler's UM Church, like Little Asbury AME Church, had close ties to Asbury AME Church in Annapolis. The church has a large congregation; many of the church's members are associated with the Good Samaritan Order known as Bright Desire Lodge No. 60.
