John Wesley AME Church at Annapolis Neck Forest Hills & Bay Ridge Avenues, Annapolis Built in 1875 and rebuilt in 1930, John Wesley AME Church evolved from a community of rural blacks. Now it is a city church with an urban congregation. The church is the younger of the Eastport congregations. Mt. Zion AME is the senior congregation. The cemetery for the church is located on Annapolis Neck Road.
