BATMAN FOREVER (1995) by ELLIOT GOLDENTHAL

1. MAIN TITLES & FANFARE

The new Batman Theme makes a its grand entrance in this track. You can definitely tell that this is a Goldenthal score from this track. The metallic sounds and high horn trills are present, like always. Very straightforward and heroic.

Track 1: Main Titles and Fanfare (1:50)

The Batsignal is blazing, Batman in the Batcave is suiting up, he arms himself with weapons and takes the Batmobile in order to go and fight crime… ''Would you mind if I suggest you take a sandwich with you sir?'' Alfred asks.

Until this point the film looked dark enough, but spoiled with this line… ''I'll get drive-thru'' Batman replies and enters the Batmobile.

With this track we are introduced to the new Batman theme. It can't hold a candle next to Danny Elfman's already classic theme. This time Batman is presented with a traditionally heroic music. Neither dramatic nor moody. The word ''Fanfare'' says it all. Not too bad, but compared to Elfman's it's poor.
