BATMAN FOREVER (1995) by ELLIOT GOLDENTHAL

3. THE PERILS OF GOTHAM

Batman is after Two-Face in his helicopter. He's hanging from the wire that once was hooked to the vault full of acid. Goldenthal uses piano to give the track a "soaring through the air" feel. Two-face's theme makes its entrance in this track. Goldenthal also uses the "Mars" accompaniment in the strings in this track. (Holst's The Planets, Mvt. 1 Mars- Bringer of War) Goldenthal also gives us another classic Goldenthal trick in this score- bending brass pitches to create an annoying but cool at the same time, droning engine sound.
