9. THE PULL OF REGRET

This is the first track that is half-way serious. Batman is remembering his childhood. Again, listen for other themes. You can hear the Riddler's four notes quite clearly. The music that is heard as Bruce falls into a bat cave (not THE bat cave) is fantastic. Goldenthal gives us, in a stirring way, the last phrase of the Batman theme as Bruce watches a bat fly towards him.
