I personally didn't like the comic of the film very much. The strengths of this film don't rely on the plot itself, but on the great visual and aural qualities of the film and Burton's portrayal of the psychotic characters. That is to say that in drawn form the movie doesn't offer much. The likeness of the characters and the ink in general are great, but the coloring is poor and basic. There are two versions, Prestige graced with great Dorman artwork (an artist that has produced some excellent Batman paintings - his work can be seen on several Collected editions covers and trading cards) and Regular with a more comic bookish cover. The prestige cover artwork is better than the comic itself... Anyway, this comic book is a nice addition to the bookshelf of every fan. The best movie adaptation, however, is Batman Forever.
