Battle Royale England.
(If you have read the taster you will realise that some of the names have changed, it’s a long story why, but I hope it doesn’t confuse you, there are also some added things, and mainly it’s become more graphic in the violence)

Chapter one: selection.
Edward a medium height, reasonably handsome boy awoke in a strange room, where was he?? Where they in the campsite? Had he fallen asleep?? He rose from the floor and saw the rest of his class around him, instantly he knew something was wrong, slowly his friends began to rise, a few moaned and some started to whisper quietly He looked around trying to find Thomas, his best friend when he came face to face with Katalina Fero, she smiled at him, he almost forgot why nobody went out with her, as she turned her black eye patch became visible, it was over her left eye but she still looked beautiful in a haunting way. Amee, a likeable Asian Goth stood up and scanned her classmates and in a clear voice she spoke out: “What the hell are we doing here?? Where the hell are we?!E“Obviously you don’t watch the newsEAll heads turned towards Tai Arzer, A bookish, quiet yet undeniably sinister boy, he stared back at them “We are obviously not on the school trip anymore, we haveEe stopped and looked some of his classmates in there eyes “We have been selected for-E He was cut short as the door slammed open and a man walked in, he was wearing a tracksuit and held a clipboard “Hello class, as I’m sure Mr.Arzer was about to tell you, you have been selected for BREBattle Royale.E
“For the next three days you will kill each other, anything’s allowed but there will only be one survivorESome of the class looked at each other nervously he continued: “As you may remember one of the channel islands was evacuated after and outbreak of a highly contagious disease, there was no disease, it was just a way to get rid of the locals now watch this video and listen wellEA women appeared on screen and spoke in an annoying high pitched voice, it was obviously dubbed, she explained about the bracelets they wore: “These bracelets contain a potent venom, you make trouble or try to pull it off, we send radio waves that causes the bracelet to inject the poison directly into your bloodstream, you die in 20 secondsEMost of the class touched there bracelets at this point, and looked uneasily at the TV, Thomas.B.Futha, Andrews best friend got up and shouted:
“You bastard! You want us to kill each other?? Never!EWith that he spat on the mans face, slowly he wiped it away and took out something that looked like a T.V remote, he pressed it and ThomasEbracelet bleeped, he looked around, crying his eyes out, calling for help, nobody came to aid him, then just as suddenly as the beeping started it stopped, Thomas looked up at the ceiling, his skin looked like it had tightened and the veins stuck out on his neck, and with a scream he collapsed on the floor, blood pouring from his nose, eyes and mouth. Many people screamed and some just sat, staring. Not believing what they’d seen. Edward looked back at Tai, who’s face betrayed no emotion “Oh my godEEdward said to himself. “OK you’ll leave in register order, get up and goE
“Girl number 1 Lucy Dilson, the young girl stood and looked back at the class, she was nearly crying, Andrew was sure that others would be the same, names where called and people left then the man said a name that seemed to hang in the air: “Girl number 7 Katalina FeroEThe one eyed girl stood up and strode to the guard, she glared at him and the guard quickly took a rucksack and threw it at her, she caught it perfectly, even though it was on her left side. “OkE There’s winner!Ethe man was smiling “Right, ok, Boy number 7 Mr. Tai. Arzer! Come on up!ETai stood up slowly and walked to the guard, he caught the bag and turned back to the class: “See you around guysEWith that he left. Andrew new, he had a gut feeling the two most dangerous people in the game had just left, “Ok who’s next?EThe man was too cheery for such an occasion, The rest to Andrew was a blur; people left and people cried then it all went black.
Edward recalled this as he crouched on a large walkway in a garage, below him Tai stood holding a kusari-gama, or something, Tai had called it something like that, and it was basically a sickle on a chain. Edward surveyed his surroundings; the three jocks lay dead around Tai, slowly he leant and picked up their weapons. Edward recalled what Tai had said to Larry, the “bossEof the jocks, the one who got all the girls, head of the Rugby team, he knew Larry had tried to kill Tai, thinking the geek would be easy prey, Edward felt bitter with hatred, that his friends could be so barbaric, but as he saw the scene below he felt a savage glee know that Larry was meeting someone worse than him, he had met Tai, so blinded with hatred, his voice was unemotional and never changed pitch, he was a true killer: “Larry ever since I saw you I hated you, with a burning passion, you got everything so easy, the girls, the grades and that’s why I’m doing this, I made a promise not to die, but if I do I’ll go down fighting.ETai then swung his weapon once round his head and slammed it into Larry’s temple, Ian winced at the sound, like a whoosh then ripping sound like paper being ripped, it practically split his head in two. When Tai had left Ian ran down to the bodies of Larry Thompson, Terrence Wieldson and Barry Lanwill, the jocks, lay dead on the floor, there corpses outlined by pools of blood, each of them was hit in a different place, he dared not look at Larry, Terrence had a gash across his throat, Edward remembered Tai jump on his back and slowly dragging the blade across his throat, whilst Barry had his stomach torn open, his insides spilled across the floor, “How could he do this??EEdward was despairing “How could he turn on his friends like this??EHe said out loud.
“Easily in fact, all you need is a motiveEEdward turned to see Tai standing behind him holding his Kusari-gama, he began to spin it, Edward fumbled for his machete, he touched it, grabbed it, turned and was about to lunge when a gunshot rang out, his body turned into one big hurt, a fiery, burning pain, he turned and saw Katalina, the one eyed beauty, walking towards him, the last vision was the killers smiling at each other then walking away, despite the fact he was dying and your supposed to be at piece all Edward could think was: “Evil bastardsE
Chapter 2: Don’t call me old one eye.
Katalina had always been Tai’s friend ever since they where little, even after she had her accident and lost her eye, they had so much in common, now more than ever they felt close, kindred spirits. “I’m going, have some business to take care ofEKatalina started to walk out, Tai was sharpening his weapon, “Good look, give them hell, and you do know this is probably the last time we’ll see each other, Katalina, go and don’t come backEThey briefly smiled at each other, then she departed, walking into the bright sunlight she blinked rapidly to adjust her eyes, then readying her pistol headed towards a large building, a church, she already new who was in there, Tai had handled the jocks, she would handle the cheerleaders.
“Hey, Jasmine pass the waterESohna was a tall beautiful girl, exactly why she had been picked as a cheerleader, Jasmine was shorter and but just as pretty, slowly she walked towards Sohna and whispered in her ear: “Amee has something to tell youE The friendly girl walked forwards and lent over to Sohna: “Someone’s coming I saw them, in the trees, get your weapon, Jasmine had a large ice pick and Sohna had a chakram, a hoop with blades along the outside, it was quite small but was very sharp, Amee readied her harpoon gun, a wicked looking barbed harpoon was poised and ready, Katalina was, unknown to them, already inside the church, she wondered who they had seen, she didn’t need to wonder for long as Helena Weal, a “pleasantly plumpEgirl wandered in, she held a gun in her hands and shouted out loud: “Sohna, Jasmine, I know you’re hereEShe walked towards where the girls where crouching and raised her gun, “You always called me fatEWith that she ran forward and stood in front of the table with Sohna , Jasmine and Amee on the other side . EI’ve come to kill you, you bullied me I hate you!!EShe shot wildly and a bullet hit Amee in the chest, she yelped and fired the harpoon it thudded into the wall just past Helena, Sohna was shocked “You bitch, you’ve killed her!!EShe ran forward and attacked Helena ruthlessly, the chakram was blur of steel, but she was so blinded with rage, she could not concentrate, Helena was dodging and weaving, the chakram never hitting her, she was more calculating and had her gun ready, she was just about to shoot when she felt a pain in her back, it grew quickly, all her torso felt as though it was being squeezed and her life faded into nothing, Jasmine stood behind her, the ice pick in her hand. “Dumb bitchE
“At least it wasn’t old one eye,ESohna gasped out as she got her breath back. “You got that right, what is the deal with Katalina? She could be a cheerleader, well actually with that eye patch she would be better as a pirate!E Both girls looked at each other and exploded into fits of giggling. “You know what freaks me out? How can she do things with one eye, you saw her in the classroom, she caught that bag without looking at it, that is one freaky bee-atchEOnce again the laughing rang out. Sohna pouted and did an impersonation of Katalina: “It’s Katalina, with A “KE “I’m wish she was here we could tell her all thisEJasmine abruptly stopped laughing when she looked behind her. “Your wish is my commandEKatalina had her gun point blank in Jasmines face. “Please, Kat, Don’t we where defending ourselves, we didn’t mean to kill Helena!E “Ahh yes Helena, I just saw all that, she was quite a wild cat doncha think?E Sohna slowly moved her hand towards Helena’s gun, and then grabbing it she turned and fired. Katalina fell to the floor and both the girls stared blankly at the body. “Good thing I hit her, that was the last bulletESohna felt a wave of relief wash over her, she cast a glance at the body and saw just beside it, there was a bullet mark on the wall. “Oh my god!E“Jasmine, get up!! Run! She’s aliveE “But you shot her!EJasmine wouldn’t budge “Old one eyes dead!! OK? You shot her!E “Don’t think you’re so lucky!EKatalina stood up and pointed her gun at them “I’ve told you beforeE“Don’t call me old one eyeEThen she smiled, it wasn’t a nice smile, it was a smile like one a shark would give a surfer that’s about to die, and shot twice, both the girls fell, a bullet through their chest. Katalina regarded the corpses “I may have one eye but I’ll always be better than you.
Chapter 3: Day 2.
Lucy Dilson aka Girl # 1 had survived here first night, she had heard gunshots and screams, she held her revolver tight to her chest and waited in a bush to see who came by, she hoped it wasn’t anybody with a gun, just as she was thinking this Holly Melson ran past her swinging a ball on a long length of chain around her head, behind her Claire Siren was unsheathing a long katana, they faced each other, Holly let her weapon fly, it smacked into a tree trunk close to Claire’s head, in replay Claire jumped forward and swung her sword, it ricocheted of the strong chain links and they ended up back to back, Lucy new they where both weak and took her chance, she stood up and held her revolver in front of her “Hey girls how are you?E She fired four times each girl fell with two bullets in them “Hmm obviously not that good, eh?E She walked over to the bodies and looked at the weapons, they where seriously dangerous, sharp weapons don’t mix with badass bitches. “You murdering bitch!EJessica Drager, a short, talkative girl leapt out of a bush, much like Lucy had, she held a meaty looking pistol in front of her “How could you just kill them?EShe was nearly crying “It was them or me!!E“Please forgive me,ELucy to was almost crying, then in a split second they both fired their guns, and they both fell down clutching their shoulders “You shot my shoulder bitch!EJessica screamed and lunged for the ball and chain. “Yeah well you shot mine!!ELucy grabbed the katana, and they both stood, gasping for breath, there arms covered in blood, but neither willing to give up, and just as Claire and Holly had done the weapons clashed, it was short and violent, in the end Jessica stood the winner with her newly acquired ball and chain. “Thanks for killing the others you really saved me the troubleE
Elsewhere on the island Douglas Nikoson was out of breath, he had ran all they way to the church when he heard the gunshots, he thought there would be a weak person, the more dead the better, he found the bodies of Amee, Sohna, Jasmine and Helena, sorting through there weapons he took the harpoon gun and Helena’s berretta, sure they where his friends but if they where dead they couldn’t kill him. He was still gloating when the ground exploded around him; he looked up and saw Katalina holding an Uzi, she walked down the aisle and pointed the gun at him, then slowly she spoke to him in a menacing, yet alluring voice: “Got this off Christopher Larfield, you know, he has a brand new brain ventilation systemE Douglas looked up puzzled; he wasn’t the brightest person ever Katalina sighed: “I shot him in the headEDouglas gasped and scrabbled for the berretta he just got his hands on it when Katalina opened fire, his body jerked uncontrollably as bullets ripped his body apart, he toppled to the floor in a pool of blood, he had countless bullets in him, even though the first one killed him instantly. Katalina smiled, she soon broke out of her happiness when she realised she was in the open and quickly hurried away.
Jessica was still recovering from her fight and had ran for what seemed like forever, she reached a garage and went inside, the jocks lay dead around her she didn’t look at them, the large puddles of blood was enough information for her, she stopped at the base of some stairs leading up to a walkway, when she heard a noise behind her, she whirled and found Louise TeLaFunice glaring at her, she was sat on a small bench and held a pickaxe in her hands, shifting it restlessly. “Hey JessEShe noticed the blood on Jessica’s shirt “Good hunting?E “What’s it to you bitch?EThere relationship wasn’t the nicest, they hated each other for no reason really, if anyone asked why they hated each other the reply was always the same: “We have reasons.E Jessica raised her gun and pointed with her other hand at the pick axe “Not the best weapon ever, ehh LouiseE “Screw you, you’re a murderer, now drop the gun and step away from me or I’ll attack you!E “Did you do this to the jocks?E “No this isn’t my work, someone seriously hated these kids.E She raised her gun, “Enough chatting, time for you to die!EJessica smirked and readied her gun. “Try it!ELouise ran full pelt screaming her heart out, Jessica looked down gun to aim and fired, she was not rewarded with bullets but instead the clicking of an empty cartridge. Louise was on her in a flash and knocked her to the ground, she straddled her, then raised her pickaxe above her head “Game over!Eshe hacked down and stabbed Jessica in the chest.
Louise got up and stood next to the body, then turned and started to walk away, had she stayed and watched she would have seen Jessica’s eyes snap open as she took out Lucy’s gun and fired, this time a stream of bullets tore through the air and knocked Louise of her feet. “How?..ELouise crawled over to Jessica and crouched next to her “This was Lucy’sEJessica smirked knowing she was taking her killer with her, Louise couldn’t believe what had happened, then, slowly her eyelids closed and she fell onto Jessica’s dead body.
Chapter 4 : Final push.
A few of the students remained: Boys # 5 Liam Ardingson, # 7 Tai Arzer, #9 Benjamin Shela, # 10 Andrew J. Dumkiln and only one girl #7 Katalina Fero,
Liam and Andrew had joined forces as they both had, frankly crap weapons a length of rope and a piece of 2x4 wood “We ain’t never gonna survive!! You seen the hard wear they packinE? We ain’t gonna see tomorrowEAndrew had been moaning for ages now and Liam was growing tired. Come on Andy we won’t give up, I believe in usE “We will survive!E
“No you won’tE Both head turned as Benjamin Shela walked towards them, he unsheathed a longEslightly curved knife and pointed it at them. “Run now and you might get awayE They took off at some speed. Ben smiled as they ran away, he turned on his heels and bumped straight into Katalina, and he held the knife out. “Girl, come near me and I’ll kill you!E “Oh please, you will kill me?EShe took out her gun and pointed it at him:EYou have no idea of what I’ve done so farE“Come on KatEHis voice changed to a purr “Lets spend the last moments of our life in happiness.EShe smiled at him, a hideously alluring smile, his legs almost collapsed underneath him, she unbuttoned her blouse, just as she reached the bottom button he rushed forward and kissed her neck, she pushed the gun into his ribs and fired, his blood sprayed onto her and he collapsed to the floor. “Stupid boy!! Letting hormones take over? Tsk tskE Liam and Andrew where still running top speed when they stopped dead in there tracks, in front of them stood Tai, he held the kusari-gama in his hands, and twirled it in a circle in front of him. “Hey guys, what’s up?Ehe swung it round and snapped the 2x4 in half. “Gonna kill me with that rope?E
“You sick bastard!!ELiam ran at him, his eyes filled with anger. Tai pirouetted then swung the weapon, it tore across Liam’s chest with a grinding sound and his entire torso exploded in a fountain of blood, he fell heavily to the floor, a huge pool of blood already growing around him. Andrew held his rope and began to cry, Tai walked over to him and patted his shoulder “There, there he would of killed you, just like I am about toEAndrew started to cry even harder “Come on Andy you new this was gonna happen, ever since this game started you new you wouldn’t winETai stood up and tore a hole in Andrews chest. “Anyway, I ain’t gonna lose.EWith that Tai killed Andrew and all that was left were Tai and Katalina, the final day, the final fight.
Final Chapter : Battle of the Big Bads.
Katalina had selected her weapons, her Sig sauer pistol, Uzi 9mm and the chakram, with these weapons she set off, to meet her enemy, her destiny, her life or her death, her love.
Tai took his Kusari- gama, cursing his bad luck that he didn’t run into anyone with a gun, and headed off towards the hills, he new he would meet Katalina there, secretly (though he wouldn’t tell anyone) he didn’t want to hurt Katalina, they had respect for each other and inside himself he cried, they, in the depths of there hearts loved each other, and thanks to this game they would never get the chance to tell each other.
Both reached the top of the hill and Katalina opened fire with pistol in one hand and Uzi in the other, the gunfire echoed, and in the main control room the soldiers removed there headphones as the sound grew in intensity, then suddenly, all was still, silence, then a low, barely audible whooshing. Tai stood in the centre of it all the foliage around him blasted apart, he swung his weapon in a blurred “XEin front of himself. “Katalina, I know you just ran out of bullets, so you ready for this?ETai swung his “You betcha I’m ready to go, good luckEKatalina held her chakram firmly “DittoEWith that they clashed, his weapon spinned and twirled, hers flashed in the sunlight as she blocked the deadly sickle blade; they separated and circled each other, Tai had a cut down his cheek and Katalina had a thin trickle of blood from a cut on her forehead. They came together again and the thick chain of the Kusari-gama entangled in the Chakrams blade, they pulled at each other, eventually they gave up and dropped they weapons. “Kat, this isn’t going anywhere.E “I wouldn’t think that, she grabbed her Uzi off the floor and pointed it at Tai. “I saved this bullet for you, goodbyeE “BitchE
The soldiers back at the base where puzzled all they heard was static after the shot, what had happened to Tai’s bracelet it should still be recording sound. Tai was even more surprised when he looked down at his wrist, the bracelet had been shot off his arm completely, only a small graze showed on his arm, a thin trickle of blood running down his hand, he ran to Katalina and hugged her, kissing her brow. “Kat, what about you, you could have saved yourself, shot me, now you’ve still got that bracelet onE “ExactlyEThey think your dead, we where the last ones, now hide out and I’ll meet you back at the mainland, OK?E “OK, see you thereEThen they came together and kissed, the killers, murders and now lovers.
Whatever life threw at them, they would handle it together .
Epilogue:
Tai and Katalina did meet up in the mainland; they founded the English version of the “Wild SevenEknown as the FLA (Ferox le Armature) and launched a huge attack against the government, succeeding in destroying The houses of Parliament and so, ended the BR in England, two years later they, where captured by a reformed government, but mysteriously disappeared from there cell blocks, they have not been heard of since, many believe they are still on stand by in case the government starts up BR again, but in truth nobody knows.
