ATTENTION READERS: THIS TOOK PLACE AT THE END OF THE PLAY'S SUMMER!
The baby slipped into his mother’s hands and Kat let the tears flow. She clapped loudly as the paramedics arrived to take the new mother to the hospital.
Bree grinned from ear to ear, "He was soooo cute!" Bree cried as they walked home.
This had been the longest day of their life. They had walked to the park to exercise and had gotten much more, yes, a lady gave birth to the cutest baby boy. They had witnessed the beginning of life.
Kat’s eyes glowed as they walked back into Ben’s summerhouse. Dan and Abs sat at the dinning room table.
Bree ran up to Abs, "We saw lady have a baby at the park!"
Abs raised an eyebrow and continued to talk to Dan.
Bree’s eyes glared, "We saw the cute baby," she continued.
Abs and Dan only seemed more into their conversation. Kat winked at Bree and walked to her room.
Kat sat next to Ben and Jerry that night. Kat smiled at Ben and Ben smiled back. Kat smiled at Jerry, he grunted back. Kat smiled at the TV. The TV glared back.
Finally Ben spoke up, "What the heck are you so happy about?"
Kat’s smile only grew bigger, "Nothing," she replied.
Dan and Abs walked into the room, "What’s up with Kat?" Jerry asked them.
They only shrugged.
Bree walked in and Kat sat up. The two girls walked to the front of the room.
Dan’s face grew serious, "Okay, BK, what’s wrong?"
Bree look at Kat, "You tell them," Bree said.
"No you."
Bree looked at Abs, "Well, I’m gonna have a baby!" Bree yelled.
"Me to! I’m gonna have one to!" Kat said.
Dan fell in a chair, his mouth open and Abs looked as shocked.
Ben and Jerry looked as if they were gonna cry.
Abs recovered, "Baby? Bree you can’t have a baby. You’re 15!"
Bree and Kat smiled.
"Well it’s gonna come true," Kat said.
Dan’s eyes went cold, "Oh!" he cried.
Jerry got up, "Now, a baby can be good…who’s the father, Kat."
Kat’s eyes grew wide, "I don’t know!" she cried.
Jerry fell back, "Oh dear God tell me no!"
Ben grabbed Jerry and took him upstairs.
"How pregnant are you?" Abs asked.
Bree’s smile faded, "Pregnant? Who said anything about being pregnant?"
Abs looked confused.
"We’re going to the health clinic for a sperm doner!" Kat explained.
Dan looked angry, "This is bad…" he said as Kat and Bree walked off.
-The Next Morning-
At the health clinic, Bree and Kat talked to the nurses.
"Yes, we have, doctors, mass murderers," the nurses explained.
Suddenly Keith, the booger boy, walked in, "Here’s my cup!" he said.
Kat grew sick, "I want no baby from him!" she cried and ran out.
-Later-
Jerry smiled at Bree, "I’m glad you are over that baby thing."
"Oh, I’m not using doners. I’m on to plan b," she said fixing her hair in the mirror as Jerry walked off.
She straightened her clothes, "There are other was to have a baby," she smiled to herself.
Kat walked in, "Are you ready?"
Bree nodded, "Now why don’t you see Dan?"
Kat shook her head, "He’s not like Abs; he don’t like that stuff…Skeeter is fine with me."
Bree nodded again and left to find Abs.
Kat sat with Skeeter at the restaurant.
"Tell me about you," Skeeter said.
Kat thought, "I’m cool…but are there any um, illnesses or midgets in your family?"
Skeeter shook his head.
"Any clowns or dorks?"
Skeeter shook his head again.
"Any poor people?" she asked.
Skeeter thought, "I do have a poor old uncle Larry."
Kat looked discusted, " Let’s hope I don’t get that gene…"
Skeeter’s eyes opened wide, "What?"
Kat only smiled, "Let’s go to your car."
Bree pushed Abs onto the ground of her bed room.
Abs looked surprised, "What the…" he started.
Bree smiled and tried to take off his shirt.
Abs sat up, "What are you doing?"
Bree cocked her head to one side, "Abs, do you love me?"
Abs looked confused, "Um…I guess."
Bree tried to take Abs’s shirt off again but he pushed her off, "Bree are you mad?"
Bree started crying, "But I want one so bad…" she whispered.
Abs held her close, "But you’re only 15, baby."
Bree nodded.
Kat smiled at Skeeter who was taking her home, "Do you wanna come in?" she asked as they pulled into the summerhouse.
"I should think so, I live here."
Kat blushed, "Oh yea."
The front door of the house opened and Bree stuck her head out, "Kat!" she called.
Kat and Skeeter walked inside. In the living room sat Dan. His eyes glared at Skeeter and Skeeter ran off like a chicken.
Bree and Kat sat in their rooms, "I guess we don’t need babies," Kat said.
Bree nodded, "Why did we want one in the first place?"
Kat shrugged, "I think it’s because we wanted to teach Dan and Abs a lesson for ignoring us."
"Oh yeah," Bree said and they walked off remembering.
