Ben: Did you hear that Skittles is going out with John Williams?
Bree: You’re kidding.
Ben: Nope, they were said to be making out after school yesterday.
Jerry: Bree, I think you should heal your hearbreak by going out with me.
Bree: I’m not heartbroken.
Jerry: But you love him.
Bree: No I don’t.
Jerry: You don’t?
Bree: No…
Jerry: Oh… [runs off crying]
Ben: Oh my! Jerry! Dude, come back! [runs after him]
[Kat walks up]
Kat: What did you say to him?
Bree: Nothing, he just asked me out.
Kat: Aw poor thing.
Bree: Guess who Skittles is dating?
Kat: Who? Ben? [laughs]
Bree: No, John Williams.
Kat: [stops laughing] That whore! [hits locker] Ow!
Ben: [runs over] Kat my darling, are you okay?
Bree: I thought you were going to help Jerry.
Ben: He’s just crying…Kat’s hurt!
Bree: Yea and he’s your friend.
Ben: Oh…I know when I’m not wanted.
Kat: Duh!
Ben: I think I’ll join him. [runs off crying]
Bree: Wow, you finally made him cry.
Kat: They get more alike every day.
Bree: Yea and weirder too.
-Jerry and Kat talk outside after school-
Jerry: She’ll never love me.
Kat: It’ll get better. Trust me, girls have a weird way of showing they care.
Jerry: So you are saying she does care?!
Kat: No.
Jerry: [starts crying]
[John walks over]
John: I got a new girlfriend.
Kat: I heard.
John: You can still have it, baby. [gets closer to Kat; pushes her up against the wall]
Kat: Oh you’re fiesty.
John: You have no idea… [tries to kiss her]
Jerry: Get off her! She hates you! She loves Dan!
John: She does not! He’s gay right Kat?
Kat: [nervous] Uh…yea gay.
Jerry: I can’t believe you’d spread such a lit Kat Hodzenberry. [stomps off]
Kat: Jerry, no, come back! [starts to go after him]
John: Forget that freak, baby.
Kat: That freak’s my friend!
John: [grabs her] Take that back.
Kat: No! You’d better get away! My daddy’s a rich man!
John: So? Who’s picking you up? Certainly not him. He’s busy in France. He doesn’t love you. He loves his work.
Skeeter: [heard from behind John] I’m picking her up, punk, so back off.
John: [let’s Kat go and turns around] Like I’m scared of a poor college freshman that has failed twice.
Skeeter: [punches John and his nose begins to bleed]
Principal: [hears fight and runs outside] What’s going on?
Kat: [grabs Skeeter] We gotta go, Skeeter, not on school grounds please.
Skeeter: Okay let’s go. [Kat and Skeeter get in the truck leaving John to face the principal.
