Episode 2, "No Escape Part 2"

Scene 1:

Connor is running down the street, legions are following him. He cuts down an alley, but stops when he sees a dark figure standing there. He debates turning around, but when he does he hears the footsteps of his enemies getting closer.

*Opening Credits*

Scene 2:

The troops march past the alleyway, but a few look inside. Connor jumps at the 1st one, and tackles him. Another grabs on to him, but Connor pushes him into the wall with extreme force. "Over hear," shouts one, and slowly they begin entering.

Connor fights valiently, and fights them off. Even though the forces are limited in the alleyway, their numbers are too great, and they tackle him to the ground. An arrow hits one in the back, and he falls down dead. The others turn and look, and see Angel stepping forward.

Some of the troops rush towrds him, and Connor has enough leeway to ecape from his predicament. Together they fight off the troops, and win. When they are all dead, Connor turns to his father. "What brings you this way?" "I was coming to see you, I had to tell you I was ok." So, you always meet up with your friends in dark allies." "Only on the fun days."

Scene 3:

"What did happen?" Connor asks. "Me & the others, we eliminated the senior partners most powerful minions on Earth. They did not take it lightly." "Sore losers!" "They came after us, in full force, with an army of doom.

The picture changes, and shows what happened on the fateful day.

"Well, I personally wanna slay the dragon" says Angel stepping forward. "Let’s go to work!" Angel clashes swords with the nearest minion, and easily dispatches him. Illyria charges forward, and brutally bashes minions by the dozen.

"Leave these pathetic creatures to me! Go fight your dragon, Angel!" Spike follows right behind her, and fights a couple off. "I suppose I’m the one who’s going to have to play David & Goliath today," Spike says looking at the giant in the back. "Make you way toward it!" Illyria shouts. And she and clears a way through the troops, with a mad rush that pushes scores aside like books falling from a shelf.

Spike quickly follows, and the two get buried in the mist of enemies. Angel sees what is happening in the corner of his eye, but has no time to fully look on. "Get inside the hotel," he says to Gunn, "I had the sanctuary spell recast, you’ll be safe in there." "I can’t . . ." "Then you’ll die . . . go!" Angel says no more, and jumps onto the wall, and scales the hotel.

On the roof he sees the dragon waiting. "So you have come vampire. Don’t you know what my breath will do to you?" "Yeah, but I really don’t have time to care." "You will, when you are a pile of ash." Angel charges at the dragon, and jumps above it, just before it emits it’s fiery breath. Angel lands on it’s back, and grabs on to the neck. It shakes about wildly, but he holds on tight.

Gunn is aproached by a few stray minions, that escape Illyria’s torment of the group. He raises his axe, but feels a sharp pain in his chest. Just before they near him, he opens a door and is inside the hotel. One steps in the door way, and gets hit by the axe. The one behind him, kicks the body out of the way, and charges at Gunn. The spear bounces off Gunn’s belly, as the sactuary spell holds up. Gunn swings the axe down, and offs another one. The next just stands in the doorway afraid, for he knows he can’t hurt the human here.

Spike runs up to the giant and kicks it in the knee. It respondes by kicking back at Spike. He tries to dodge, but the leg is just too big to get away from, and the giant is fairly nimble. Spike falls into the wall. "I think I hate this plan." The giant stomps over to Spike, and when it gets close, Spike grabs a garbage can, and jumps up. He swings the can into it’s groin. It growls & doubles over in pain, but slaps Spike away with a back hand in return.

Illyria continues to masacre the minions, slowly she gains the upper hand, and their numbers start wearing thin."You have underestimated me. You mere mortals cannot stop a goddess such as I!"

Angel swings his sword at the dragon, but cannot pierce it’s scales. The dragon then stands on it’s hind legs, in an attempt to knock Angel off, but to no avail. It then seeks desperate measures, and simply topples itself over, trying to land on top of Angel. Angel rolls out of the way, but drops his sword. The dragon is quick to get up, and races over to Angel. It takes a breath, and is about to emit it's fiery breath, Angel raises his arms, and his stakes pop from his wrists. He jabs them into it’s eyes, and jumps to the side. It roars and let’s out it breath, but once again Angel manages to dodge it.

However it’s tail swings forward, and knocks Angel off the roof. He falls by the door, and sees Gunn standing over a few bodies. But he also sees a soldier with a crossbow in the doorway, pointing it at Gunn.

Scene 4:

"No, they didn’t get Gunn?" says Connor in shock. "No, I was able to stop the guy from shooting him." The picture changes again to show the past.

Angel rips a stake off his arm, and throws it into the the back of the soldier’s neck. It falls down dead. He hears a roar from up above, and sees the dragon walking over the edge. He flees the area, shouting "Run!" The dragon lands, not caring that it stomped a few soldiers on it’s own team.

Spike is hard pressed dodging the giants mighty blows, and cannot find any apropriate counter attack. Illyria sees he is in trouble against the behemoth, and runs over to help him.

The dragon lunges at Angel, but misses completly, and runs smack into the side of the Hyperion. It smells something, it smells human. In a quick stroke it picks up Gunn, and feels a shock. It’s body flashes continuously, as if it is being electrified, however it overcomes the sactuary spell. It pulls Gunn outside.

"No!" screams Angel, and he charges at the dragon. He punches at it, but his hands have little effect. The dragon laughs, "Dinner time." Angel gets an idea. He jumps onto the dragon’s back, and from there onto the roof. He picks up his sword, and dives down.

Illyria throws a punch, and it shatters the giants knee. It falls, and she starts punching him somemore. Spike grabs onto it’s neck, and strangles it. Once it is dead, he lets go, and looks to Illyria. He points at her and smiles, "I owe you a drink."

The dragon moves his arm toward his mouth. Slowly, Gunn comes closer to being ingested. Angel comes down like a guillotine, and severes off the mighty beast’s arm in time. It let’s out a thunderous roar, and Gunn falls hard on the ground.

Spike & Illyria run over, the dragon can smell them coming and lets out a blast of fire breath. Spike is incernerated, and Illyria is badly damaged. Her skin is totally charbroiled, and she falls unconscious.

It then turns back to face it’s final foe, but it makes one mistake. As it turns around, Angel sees it coming, and chops off it’s head. The dragon falls dead, and Angel runs over to Gunn. He is alive, but in critical condition, as is Illyria.

The picture fades back to present day. "I took them to the hospital." "And?" "They both live. Though Gunn will never be the same, his legs broken badly, it’ll take years for him to recover fully." Connor lowers his head in sorrow.

Scene 5:

"We can’t let this go unpunished!" "You’re right, but for now, we have some enemies to deal with. Who is hunting you?" "Some wizard, wants to kill me to punish you." "I should have known." "So what do we do?" "I say we finish this business, and go on tour!" "Tour?" "Yeah, we drop by W&H divisions all over the world, and give them a piece of our minds." "Count me in."

Scene 6:

Angel & Connor walk back to the Brandock’s house. First, Connor enters alone. "You really do have guts, coming back for more punishment." "Yes, your punishment." Guards swarm into the room, and Connor fights them off. The wizard laughs as they all fight, slowly Connor tires, and they take the upper hand. But so distracted are they, that no one sees Angel enter, and sneak behind the wizard.

Brandock’s face turns to shock as Angel bites him. When he is done, he snaps his neck. The guards stop in shock. "You’re boss is dead, you’re all unemployed. Go home and you may live." They all back up at Angel’s command, and leave.

Angel walks over to Connor, and lays a hand on his shoulder. "Are you ok?" "Yeah, the plan worked." "Perfectly." "Um, thanks for saving me, and helping me out." "Well, I kinda felt I had to, I sort of put you in this mess." "Yes you did." "I’m sorry you got caught up in this, I know this life isn’t for you . . . it’s not for anyone, but people get stuck with it." "I get that now, it’s not fault, it’s fate." "No escape from that, huh?" They shake hands, and the picture fades slowly.

Scene 7:

Connor stands looking at a bulding, he raises his hand, and throws something to the floor. A trail of fire lights up,and the whole building goes up in flames. He turns and walks away, but stops, and looks at something. A sign that says "Wolfram & Hart." He lays a kick on it, and it falls over.
