Welcome to the Swatch Library at the Rug Hooking Store. Due to the unique nature of wool and the hand-dying techniques, our colors samples are an approximation. Completely accurate color is difficult to achieve and represent with variables in cameras and computers. Call Janice if you should have any questions about wool colors. There are hundreds of other colors available in the shop. I will be happy to send you swatches to help you with your decision or call or write and we can discuss your color needs.

All colors are available over solids with great mottling or textured wools. Colors vary depending on the wool being over-dyed, barometric pressure and cosmic flow! We recommend purchasing enough wool for your project or be prepared to mix with a slightly different dye batch in the future. We dye enough wool that we have become very consistent with our colors, but the very nature of wool dying suggests no two pots of wool will be exactly the same.
