Jet Li is one of my favorite modern-day martial artists. He was born on April 26, 1963 in China. In 1971, he graduated from Beijing Atheletic School (Martial Course). He is a multiple-time martial arts champion.

The first time I saw Jet Li in action was in Romeo Must Die. Now, I'm not really a fan of the martial arts movies set in modern times (I like the ones set in Ancient China times).

Later on, I saw some of his other movies set in Ancient China (like The Legend and Twin Warriors), and I absolutely loved them, and that's when I actually became a Jet Li fan.
