The P-90 is an excellent choice for cqb play, especially during the day. It is very small, being 504 mm, or around 1 1/2 feet. This is a little more than the length of the space between the tip of your middle finger and your elbow. The maneuverability thus achieved by its size and bullpup design is unparalleled- at least in the airsoft universe. That is making exceptions for 'sidearm' submachine guns that are small enough to replace hand guns as side arms- such as the mp5-k and uzi. It's rate of fire is decent; it is around 13 bbs a second according to Airsoft Players. It also has very good sights- one set on each side of the gun, and a red dot sight in between them if you care to purchase one. The maneuverability, good rate of fire, and great sights combine to make this a great choice for urban cqb. I wouldn't really suggest it for the woods, however. Actually, I've only used it in urban settings but I just can't see it being too effective in a tree filled forest.

The replica is very well designed by Marui. The hop up adjustment is in one of the grips where it can be hidden, thus making the gun appear more real. The red dot sight for the P-90 is powered by AAA batteries rather than using up the mini the replica uses. Speaking of which, the only real problem with the P-90 is the mini battery. There are two good things about this problem: 1) It isn't too much of a problem to begin with and 2) It is fixable by buying a larger stock. I'm not sure how that would work, but I'm not too interested. The minis satisfy my current needs, but might not be too useful for upgrades. But there are custtom batteries to fix this problem.

The replica's mags are very well designed. The low cap mag that comes with the replica has fake bullets that are very real looking. It adds another touch of realism. The high cap mags hold 300 bbs and does not rattle, unlike all the other high cap mags I've ever seen- or heard I should say. The only problem with the mags isn't a problem with the replica but with the gun itself- reloading this gun is completely different from any other gun because the mag is on the top of the gun and under the sights. This is akward, but you can easily get used to it.

Another great feature to the P-90 is the quick takedown feature. To take it apart take out the mag, press down on a button in the "magwell" and pull the barrel off. This has prooved to be very effective to removing a jam. To get to the mechbox you have to take off the door to the battery compartment and then remove a plate separating the mechbox from the battery.

To conclude this gun is very excellent for use in cqb, but I wouldn't reccomend it if you want to use it for any other purpose. But then again, you probably wouldn't want to use it for any other purpose.

One bit of advice- when you order this gun, skip the red dot sight and get a silencer. I almost never use the sight, and a silencer actually works on this gun. You can ambush someone and they won't know where you're shooting from. Very nice.
