Doug, Sheila, Jeff, William, Russell
& Phillip’s 2013
Thanks
for visiting our Web page. We hope you
enjoy your visit. We have links below
to descriptions of various events in our lives.
The most important thing in our lives is the Good News we've
found in the Bible.
We
were all together to start the year.
Jeff & William returned to their respective places of learning soon
after that.
February saw us working on Phillip's
Science project. He made a systems of weights
and pulleys to pull different surfaces across ices to see which provided the
best traction. God provided a natural
testing environment on our patio with a "convenient" ice storm! Phillip ended up winning a blue ribbon at the
St Louis competition, two college
scholarships and made the final 300 at the national level.
Jeff got dunked after his first solo flight
in the T-6.
Phillip amazed us with his gymnastics
routines. Below we caught him in mid
flip in his floor routine.
Russell enjoyed his 17th birthday with our
new church family.
Jay & Karla treated us to a trip to Six
Flags in San Antonio and two trips a day into their swimming pool!
Graduation day from the T-6 turbo-prop
trainer into the T-1 below.
Opa & Lisa as well
as Sheila's brother's Scott's family joined us for a trip to Samuel Clemen's boyhood home in Hannibal, MO.
Doug turned 50 but Sheila got the flowers
for her birthday.
One of Jeff's trips home.
William home for Fall break with two of his
Cedarville friends to his left (and Russell on the roof).
Our church family which has been a
wonderful blessing from God.
Russell preparing for one of his team's two
tournaments.
Russell as Buck Braun with his co-actor,
Chris Duke, in the school drama "Pony Expresso".
Sheila, Russell & Phillip with Opa, cousins Reid, Josh & Tyler, Uncle Scott and Lisa.
Thanksgiving with Doug's parents whole
family (21) and Aunt Betty Lou.
We can never thank God enough for the many
blessings He has given us this year. We
pray that you have the joy of knowing Jesus Christ as your Lord and
Savior. If you're not sure what that
means, we urge you to read the Good News we've found
in the Bible.
From September 2002 to December 2003 we had the
privilege of living in St Vincent to do Bible study with a number of
individuals. We have pictures and details of the trip at StVincent2002.
We've had the privilege to return to St Vincent several times since 2003 to
visit the many friends God gave us during our 15 month stay. We have
accounts of some of these at StVincent2007, StVincent2009, StVincent2010, and StVincent2012.
William, Russell & Phillip boys attend North County Christian School. We have some
pictures of the school's campus here.
