Freedom! Forever!

Home *About me* Articles Stuff of the Month Www

Welcome to It's Me Actually! A site that mostly just contains my views on things, but I hope to expand it further in the future to contain some things that I am very passionate about: history, film and politics. Feel free to have a look around, and drop me a line if you want to!

***Note to all who may be interested, I visited Auschwitz-Birkenau on 8th March this year and have just finished my account from the visit, entitled Auschwitz-Birkenau and the Holocaust: will we ever learn from what happened? Please take a look.***

Have changed the layout yet again, I thought it fitting for it to be based on the fantastic film 'V for Vendetta' since it will be released on DVD in the UK this coming Monday!

9th July 2006
I meant to load this up on Friday, but oh well... Another diary log from me, concerning Pirates 2 and my despair at summer blockbusters.

6th July 2006
A new diary log for your viewing pleasure! This time, I discuss the English and their inability to deal with hot weather and the North Korea missile tests!

18th June 2006
A slightly new little feature on the site called Currently... . Which is basically a page about all the things that I'm thinking about, what I'm really into etc... It can also be found on the About Me page aswell.

Have finally added the second half of my report from Auschwitz. For those of you who haven't read the first part yet and would like to click here . For those of you have already read the first half and would like to read the second part click here
Good luck to everyone taking exams!

5th June 2006
Have created a new Articles page, which will house all articles, reports etc. written by me! NB: My Auschwitz-Birkenau report has been moved to that page.

2nd June 2006
A new Diary Log in which I talk about exams and revision, Margeret Thatcher's evil cackle, the Indonesian earthquake and the problem with British customers - from the point of view of a sales assistant. Now if that list doesn't get you interested, I don't know what will!

30th May 2006
Another new layout... I know, I need to stop doing it! I promise that it will stay with this one for a while now. It's from the film 'The Lost Weekend', a fantastic film with a career best performance from Ray Milland - as pictured above. More updates coming soon, once my exams are over.

26th May 2006
As you can see, a brand new, sparkling scheme for the site - a lot better than the old one I think you'll agree. In case you're wondering, the actors are: Alan Rickman, Colin Firth and Ralph Fiennes. The quotes are from 'Tichborne's Elegy' written by Charles Tichborne in 1586 'with his own hand in the Tower before his execution.' I'm not sure why, but the poem appealed to me. Report from Auschwitz II is on the way.

17th May 2006
Have been working hard on updating the site. I have just added my report from Auschwitz I, which can also be accessed from the About Me pages. Please do check it out. My report from Auschwitz II should be up over the next week or so.

13th May 2006
