Skateboard/Longboard Lights

This is one of my latest creations, lights that bolt right between the truck and deck on to your skateboard/longboard. They're quite helpfull on night rides, and look pretty tight.

Prototype III

NEWEST VERSION This one incorporates a switch that allows the battery to be permanantly connected. Best if the rider plans to ride during day and night, that way nothing hangs down when the lights are off. The switch itself costs 4 bucks, so this one comes in all colors and is $14.

Prototype II

This is a picure of the Second Prototype. Its quite simple to turn on and off, just connect or disconnect the 9v Battery. This one should be used only if the rider is planning to use it at night specifically. During the day, the light 9v connector would just hang off and would have a high chance of breaking.

Simple Installation

Installation is incrediably simple. Here I have one mounted on my longboard, right under the riser. Just unbolt the desired truck, move the lights in place, then bolt it right back on. When installed the battery cannot be removed, so battery replacement (the battery lasts long enough you won't have to worry about it) takes removing of the truck.

Light Footprint

Here's what the Red lights (cheepest) look like when illuminated at night. The LED's themselves are pretty expensive, practically the entire cost. They're bright enough to cause eye damage (ie. be careful), and last for a LONG LONG LONG TIME! Cost $10.

Light Footprint

This is are the Blue Lights, which contrast nighttime much better, and look quite sick. Unfortunately the LED's cost twice as much each because of the higher light frequency, I also have in green which contrast the same and are as bright. Cost $10.
