ROBERT E. LEE
Robert E. Lee, writer and director and co-founder of General Productions, won
Best Experimental Short Film at
the New York International Independent
Festival and was awarded third prize at
The Zoie Film FESTIVAL for his film “ALICE
UNDERGRoUND”. “ALICE
UNDERGRoUND” was also screened at the prestigious Hamptons
International Film Festival. Robert
has studied directing and screenwriting at New York University’s Tisch School.
While living in Belfast, Northern Ireland, with his sister, General
Production producer Kathleen Lee, he shot
General Productions’ documentary , "Women
on the Threshold", which focused on women’s role in Northern
Ireland’s peace process. This
documentary debuted at the "Vital Voices: Women in Democracy
Conference" in Belfast, a US State Department event hosted by Hillary
Clinton. Robert is also a director
of the stage. “The
Tattered Green”, written by Robert E. Lee, Kathleen Lee, musical
recording artist, Enda Keegan, and Apryl Fioriglio, premiered at The Irish
Arts Center in New York City. In
addition, Rob works as a Director of Photography and a Production Designer on
independent films in New York and New Jersey.
