Okay, so... from conception to completion, how long would you say it took to finish My Heart Doth Wander?

Allison Fleury:
I came up with the idea for 'HDW' back when I was writing the previous story, 'Following Tributaries'. It wasn't really the idea for the whole story, mostly just bits and pieces of Sniv and Casssar. When I finally started the thing, like...years later XD...it took quite a long time to write. A year and a half, I believe, though some of that was spent being writer-blocked.

Has it ever occurred in the middle of a project? And you'd have to be like "Fuck it" and just finish it?

Allison Fleury:
With HDW, it happened now and then, but I had written so much I didn't want to toss it aside. I think it happened with the last New Season story too. Seems to happen on the longer stories, mostly. Which I guess makes sense.

Sean Catlett:
How do you get out of it?

Allison Fleury:
Either forced myself to write or just waited it out...or got inspired by some random thing that made me want to write a scene.
