Sean Catlett:
Let's talk about TDA!!!!

David Macintyre:
Oh shit. I was waiting for that one.

Sean Catlett:
Because you were excited!!!!
What made you want to do a sequel to The Final Step?

David Macintyre:
Steve again, I think. I don't actually remember very well but I do remember wanting to take it again from a different perspective. Originally I'd thought of writing the story over again from Sonic's perspective, and I managed to do a chapter or two of that, but I realized there just weren't enough dramatic possibilites to hold it up on its own. I talked the idea of a sequel over with Steve at some point, though. There were some difficulties about telling the story with only two of the characters, though, and eventually we hired some hobo to do the third perspective.

Sean Catlett:
Ah yes. I hear he instigated a lot of fights between you and Steve, as well as ruined his perspective by isolating himself. Comments?

David Macintyre:
He had a problem with some of the writing, figured he was just bastardizing TFS and not really adding anything to the project. But hey, he was a hobo, of course he had issues. But, it wouldn't have worked without the Amy parts, and those were probably the most TFS-y parts in the whole thing, looking back on it.

Sean Catlett:
What about the other perspectives?

David Macintyre:
I was ashamed of how much I sucked. I think I was just too emo. Sonic's parts I loved.

Sean Catlett:
And the project as a whole?

David Macintyre:
I'm happy with how it turned out. Overhyped a bit, could've been better, but definitely a solid experience, and a pretty good end result. And closure, too.

Sean Catlett:
Hey, what happened to the site? Hmmmm?

David Macintyre:
You'll have to ask Steve, I was wondering about that myself. The hit counter gave me many boners.

Sean Catlett:
*sneaky snicker*
