The Tears of a Madman:
It's kind of simple, really. I fell in love with the show. I watched it a few times before and didn't really get into it, but once I sat down and watched it, catching all the subtle adult themes it throws out... I just fell in love with it. The girls themselves are almost perfect for Fanfiction, because, well... anything can happen to them.
In them, I saw potential I thought the Sonic fandom had lost.
Sean Catlett:
Who was Agent Parsec?
The Tears of a Madman:
Actually it's only "Parsec". Parsec was like a kick in the balls as an entry to PpG Fandom. He is easy the most known and liked writer in all of the fandom, and has writen what I could easily one of the best fanfics I have ever read, "Immortality Syndrome".
And its sequels "Immortality Relapse" and "Solitary Vigil" only added to my love. I was hooked. Once I read those (and got over the schizophrenic delusion that followed), I began working on PpG fiction.
Sean Catlett:
How many PpG fics have you written?
The Tears of a Madman:
Hmmmm... only two, I think. One was a short and the other I never finished because I didn't like where it was going.
Sean Catlett:
Are you popular in the fandom?
The Tears of a Madman:
Not in the least. I'm about as no-name as you can get. Which is good, I guess, because I'm getting to readers I wouldn't get to otherwise. But in the same way it sucks total balls starting from scratch all over again. In Sonic I just got a lucky break, in PgG I'm actually going to have to work at it.
