BLACK UNDERWEAR
Overall cost: £6
YOU NEED: knickers... bra....
1. Magenta wears a black bra (£4) with scattered sequins and a pair of Tanga briefs (£2) - the ones with a strip of material at the sides rather than a big bit.
2. If you can't find them there, then any black bra and pants set will do. H&M are quite good for basic ones which can then be sequinned if you so wish.
SHEER DRESS

YOU NEED: Black chiffon (Nikki used approx. 3 meters, but it depends on how tall you are. This is based on a 5"3' person.) .....A metre of dark greeny/purpley sequin string .....Plenty of black thread.... chalk/white pencil for marking fabric, pins and a sleeveless top to help with measurements.
1. Draw a diagram for yourself; split the slip into three sections: the back, the left panel and the right panel.
2. Get your own measurements (for example; width of back of neck, around the under arm shoulder area, length from back of neck to knee) and apply it to your diagram. This will help you cut the right amount of material but also ensure that it will fit you perfectly! Use the sleeveless top to help with measurements.
3. Mark out each of the three sections (back, left panel, right panel) onto the material, allowing about an inch for hemming and joining. Cut out material very carefully as it tends to fray easily.
4. Sew together the three sections, remembering to hem the arm holes, neck line, bottom and front joining edges of the slip.
5. Sew on the sequins, half way down the joining edge (which should be just below bra-line).
6. Use a hook and eye to fasten the left and right panels at the front. Alternatively, use a couple of stitches to join the two sides together - it does make it a bit more difficult to put on, but still looks just as good!
SHEER STOCKINGS and SUSPENDERS

YOU NEED: A black suspender belt .....black sheer stockings.....
iice easy one this, nothing technical really... just wear the stockings and suspenders as you would normally. The tops of the stockings should be visible in the opening of the front of the dress.
BLACK GRANNY BOOTS
Overall cost: 10
YOU NEED: Black boots ....a lucky find in a Charity shop.
Recently, there's been a burst of pointed boots on the market, including lace ups. Nab them in the sales - they'll be cheap once the weather gets warmer.
